Wow, that Coldplay video is really good. It's the first time that I've heard that song, too. Really soothing.

UK Teen Girls Are The "Worst Drunks" In The World
Fierce_LiNk replied to Dante's topic in General Chit Chat
Hmm, it would be a shame if somebody did take a look at those earlier facts and think "damn, the British are all drunk and...pissed! Especially their females!" Its a generalisation, so it doesn't mean that every British person is a terrible drunk. Just...a hell of a lot of teenage girls. Daaamn. -
Tell me, Tellyn. Honestly. How sore do you feel? Aha. I feel dirty. So should you.

UK Teen Girls Are The "Worst Drunks" In The World
Fierce_LiNk replied to Dante's topic in General Chit Chat
Football hooliganism wouldn't have a huge effect on teenage girls, though, I'd bet. It is part of the wider picture, but I also don't think that it's a problem which is solely UK-Exclusive. Hooliganism in football does take place abroad, but the British do seem notorious for it. -
That octopus would fit in...it would slot nicely into my belly. Mmm. Also, squid! I'm not sure how I feel about tentacle rape. I like giving more than receiving.

I don't even think that his confidence is all that low, because he's been playing quite well for us. I do agree that once he starts getting a few goals under his belt, his confidence will just shoot back up. It does anger me somewhat when I hear of fellow fans knocking him, but football fans can really be fickle. I've got faith in him, and I really like watching him play.

I made my own Spaghetti Bolognese the other day, kinda like the one I made with Ine but with mincemeat included. It was divine. Yesterday, my Mum made her own Onion Bhajis, and they were possibly one of the best that I have ever tasted. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures. There wasn't any time...we just ate them pretty much straightaway, haha. I'm gonna try and take over a bit more of the cooking soon, so there should be a lot more picture taking, wohoo.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

I'm pretty excited about this. I'm weighing up the idea of getting a new Resident Evil themed sig in preparation.- 415 replies

The toes just look really strange. Quite deformed and...they look hairy, haha. Nevertheless, this looks like a real treat. I'm looking at my Wii collection, and I think this will slot right in.

UK Teen Girls Are The "Worst Drunks" In The World
Fierce_LiNk replied to Dante's topic in General Chit Chat
I remember reading somewhere about Finland having a great education system. I also think I read that they are one of the top countries for pupil support, so that they feel valued. On that same list, for bad pupil behaviour, the UK was pretty near the bottom. We were given it at University, and I'm going to try and track it down now as it was a great read. UK Teen Girls the worst drunks: I wouldn't particularly look at that statement and disagree with it. If the UK isn't the worst nation for drunks, then we're still one of the worst. Granted, everyone likes a drink every now and again, but I think there is a big problem with people who just drink constantly week in week out, especially teenagers. -
Haha, I facepalmed at each of those misses. Did you see that through-ball from Nani to Berbatov for his chance? It was brilliant, but I think it bobbled up infront of him, so he lashed it wide. Frustrating, because I think he would have probably scored had he started that game and been a bit more sharper. Nani's two misses in one though was just a bit unlucky. Well, the first chance was, but he should have buried the second. I agree though, it would have been an unworthy scoreline.

Haha, my posts get a bit long sometimes, and I do get a bit of stick from the female about it. "They're tooo loooong....shut uppppp." Yeah, after looking at the incident again, it looks like it should have been a penalty under two different counts - the handball and the legs catching Arshavin. Although, I always think that the angle you view the incident from is important to determining exactly what you see. Having the benefit of seeing an incident from multiple angles and slowed down really can show you things that you don't see first time around. To me, Fletcher is ball winner, so when I saw the incident my first instinct was that he had made an excellent tackle. But, after seeing replays and such later on, and seeing things zoomed in, I didn't even see the position of the arm first time around. I was very surprised that Arsenal did implode in the second half. I was just watching the game thinking there is no way in hell we're going to win this. The closing down and defensive display of your team was great. There was that bite there that I think you may have lacked a bit last season.

Unemployment, travelling and smoking thread. Apparently.
Fierce_LiNk replied to Dyson's topic in General Chit Chat
They are expensive, and don't they need to be renewed every 10 years or something? So, wouldn't you have to pay a fee every decade to get a new one? Ine's got one of these ID Cards that they have in Belgium, so she doesn't even need a Passport to travel across Europe. You can use that anywhere, and it constitutes as your ID. Carrying a Passport with you, especially if you don't drive, as a form of ID...pain in the arse, I bet!- 562 replies

Fierce_LiNk replied to Dyson's topic in General Chit Chat
Read upppp. He needs a passport for McDonalds. My instinct is that he isn't financially in an amazing place to go traveling! Hehe, I joke. I sympathise. I've had a passport for years but didn't get any use out of it until...last year. Traveling and visiting new places is great, although if you haven't got the money to do it and enjoy your time away, then it does put a downer on things. I can't wait til I'm actually earning some decent money, so that I can maybe enjoy myself a bit more without all the worry. So, today is the closing date for that last job that I applied for. I'm hopeful of getting an interview...kinda. All this waiting is pretty painful. Today, another job has come up, this time in South Gloucestershire. Its only around half an hour from where I live, but it may be a bit of a trek to get to every morning. We shall see. I've sent an email off requesting an application form, so hopefully I'll get a reply from that soon. It doesn't start until the 2nd November, though, which is a tiny way off, but if I even get an interview I'll be delighted.- 562 replies

I think a lot of the activity happened fairly early on, though. There weren't too many moves late on, but I think that works better. It means you've got more time to get the team ready during pre-season, to have that time to gel. Getting late transfers sometimes means you bring in players who just don't have time to adjust to the squad at the start of the season. It could be down to the recession, although aside from the top four sides in each country, there are very few teams who would have the money in the first place to send anyway, recession aside. Everton have been one of these teams who just never seem to spend huge sums of money every transfer window. Sunderland in the last few seasons have seen lots of players come and go, but I don't think its a hugely done thing. Very few teams will rework their whole squad like Real Madrid and Man City have. Compare their teams that they'll put out this year compared to the start of last season, and its freaky. Are you saying that you don't see the out-stretched arms of Alumunia in front of Rooney, just narrowly after the ball going off screen? Its a typical thing that many strikers do. They see the goal-keeper coming out, toe-poke the ball in-front of them, just before the keeper's arms make an attempt for the ball. Almunia is unlucky, but if you watch the game again, you'll see that he shouldn't have been coming out. If the ball was bungled over the goal-line, why did Alumunia make a clumsy attempt to try and reach it? I think it's more like deceiving the goal-keeper. As soon as goalkeepers come out to get a ball like that, they are setting themselves up for trouble if they do not get the ball. My first reaction for the Fletcher-Arshavin tackle was that it was a good tackle by Fletcher. After seeing the replays, and seeing it slowed down, it seems more like a penalty than a fair tackle. But, as I said, Arshavin scored almost directly afterwards, meaning that this becomes less of an "injustice" as you put it. Had the penalty been given, Arshavin would not have scored the goal that he did. What is the solution for sorting out these incidents? Video refereeing? Video replays? More referees on the pitch? Its really all talk until something gets done. My knickers are fine, thank you very much. Maybe you should read back to the previous page, where this discussion started to see who were getting worked up over it. I do feel a bit sorry for Dunne, because you have to feel that he was out-muscled out of the squad by these new signings. But, I hope he does well at Villa, which I'm sure he will do. There's some good players that the manager has bought in. Although, for me, the one to watch is Stuart Downing to see how he takes under O'Neill. He could be revitalised, although he is one player that I have never particularly liked in the past. I think O'Neill will hopefully get more out of him.

Today has been quite a nice day. My old laptop went in for repairs a few weeks ago, but it turns out that it is unfixable, so we were given around 400 quid or something worth of vouchers/store credit. So, my Mum decided that it was time we got a new living room TV. So, we only needed to pay an extra 200 quid, and we now have this brand spanking new telly that is perhaps a tad too large for our tiny living room, haha. Also, I went to the gym today for the first time since I got back home from Belgium. It was quite a nice little session, and even though I haven't been for 2 weeks, I didn't seem too far off the pace from when I left. Sweet. Ine has gone to Spain for 2 weeks with her family, which means that I've gone from spending 2 weeks with her to 2 weeks of minimal contact. Awwww. Damn you, life!

Wooo, Transfer Deadline Day. Portsmouth II looks like they'll be taking Kranjcar from Portsmouth I. There's also the possibility of David James also moving, but with Cudicini and Gomes there, I'm not certain he'll move.

She's the beauty, and probably the sweet, too! I'm just in it to make up the numbers, haha. Thank you, Gary. Hehe, I thought that it would be a fun one to take. Although, I did feel a little bit sick and then dizzy off that roundabout afterwards.

Hehe, the battle which was won by The Greys. Right? Right?! Hmm, I do remember someone said to me about half a year ago that I should try cufflinks, but the concept seems strange. I like buttons. I'm afraid of change!

I was on my way home from Belgium when Ine texted me the news. It was one of those movie moments where the person looks up towards the sky, with an outstretched hand and screams KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN! Noooooo. The worst part is that a mate got me Oasis tickets for my birthday in January, and then proceeded to bail out on me, meaning I didn't end up going. He's seen them about a dozen or so times, including about 2 or 3 times this year. Bitterness is me. Pretty gutted at the news, but I hope that maybe the hangover wears off and that the band reform, and do a gig in Cardiff or something. Oasis splitting? We've heard that before! But, it seems like the end this time. I'm outta tiiiiiiime.

Ask for their names. They will feel treasured. Once you know their names, entry to the point of Vajayjay should be relatively simple. I joke! Its a long and painful process. Apparently, women won't sleep with anyooooone. I know! Crazy talk. In Newport, the woman pay YOU to sleep with them. Its a very crazy world, Vajayseven. The way to make love to a woman's heart is to get to know them. Woo them with your knowledge of the cider and all the places to drink in Brighton. "ouhhh! You've been to Brighton? That magical place where the clouds are made out of real cotton wool and the streets are lubricated with the blood of heavenly creatures such as the unicorn and the tortoise? You've been there? Take me there, Jay. Take me now!" Woo the women. Get to know them, and promise them a life of comfort, hot lovings and Anniversary Anal Sex. AAS. Up the AAS. I've been posting less for the last few weeks, so I've forgotten allll of the rules and what you can and can't post, or about beeeeing sensiiiible. Had a great time with Ine and feel a bit lonely now that I'm not with her. But, the time we had together was excellent, and it really was such a great time. I'm looking back through our photos and we've got some good memories from this summer. Today, I went to a friend's house for a little meetup and we ate pizza and little snacks and just chatted. Her and her girlfriend have two little kittens and they were running about the house like crazy cats. They're so energetic and young. Just like Maase.

Weeezing! It is around 10 pictures though, and it does just take up space. I don't particularly mind if they're hidden or not, as long as its not a pain in the arse to people, heh.
