  1. *looks at photo* *looks at last.fm box of mine that hasn't updated in ages.* *smiles with happiness* A brilliant song of choice, My Hoover.
  2. I'm nicking your Three-Sixteh, Asswipe.
  3. Wouldn't that depend on the game you were playing? I know Red Steel had huuuuuge turning circles, but I'm sure other games offer a much more "sensitive" approach to turning and shooting off-centre? I can't say for sure, since I don't delve too much into the FPS genre these days. Dual analogue is ok. I can't say that it is something that I find neither difficult nor fun to use. It just...exists. Saying that, I'm not one of these people who plays every Call of Duty or Tom Clancy game out there, so I haven't had vast experience using that. But, from what I've played, it does the job quite well. If you were to list the Dual Analogue controls along with Wii's Motion Controls and Keyboard/Mouse, it would surely be in the bottom part of the pack, though. What it does, it does ok, but surely what the Wiimote and Mouse can do are better fit for the purpose? There's just simply more freedom of movement there. The only thing is perhaps that there is still some way to go until every single Wii FPS that we see has reached a certain standard with the controls. It's come a good way since Red Steel, but there's still more to achieve, I think.
  4. That's the sad part of it. I think Hargreaves' injury is similar to an injury that Nadal has, since they both rely on making short bursts of speed through standing starts, or something to that effect. It's a huge shame, especially since he really has done well for us when he has played. The United midfield right now should be him and Anderson in the middle, as we looked really strong with that.
  5. I'm actually in awe. Let's face it, Caris. We feel less like men now after that post. Welcome back, Flamers. Hope you're having a good time. Hows that all going for yoou?
  6. I went absolutely ballistic when I saw that. One of the most memorable moments of that season for me, and in recent years. He's had a lot of trouble, and no one can say for sure what is going to happen. It's not even certain how well he will perform when or if he does come back. The estimates so far range/have ranged from: the beginning of the season, 2 weeks into the season, 6 weeks into the season, Christmas or January. Having him back and back to his best would be a huuuuge boost. But, even if he does come back, there has been speculation that he may only have a few years left in him, as his problem is re-occuring.
  7. There's something that doesn't look quite right with the Alien in this game. Like, the character design doesn't seem too great at all. In that video, where the Alien jumps on top of that Marine, the shot is great, but I don't think the Alien looks that much better than the ones that were used in AvP2. It needs some refining, but hopefully it'll get that. Still, I think every Aliens fan out there would rather be getting Aliens: Colonial Marines rather than what is essentially AvP3.
  8. I've also been told that there was no Terminator 3. But, I have seen eet, mon frere. I have seen eet. There's no point denying it; We seen un-purity. And it is Terminator 3.
  9. We could name her after you and call her MollyBoy.
  10. I actually can't remember the last time I saw Berbatov or Carrick take free-kicks from outside the box. They are arguably the best "passers" in the team, and they go for accuracy more than power. You don't always need power to strike a free-kick, especially if the ball is not directed at goal. Accuracy is always better, at least for me anyway. Remember that Hargreaves free-kick against Arsenal? It just jumped over the wall and into the bottom corner. He didn't smash it, it was all technique. For free-kicks, Nani, Berbatov, Carrick, Rooney and Anderson would be the ones I'd look at. Anderson hasn't found the net in the league, but I do think he has a great strike on him. He's the type of player who will miss 10 but then score that one spectacular one, I bet. For penalties, I actually can't remember the last time Anderson took one and missed. Carrick, Giggs, and Evra have all taken penalties recently and missed, but I would still back each of them to score more than they would miss. For me, the first choice would always be Rooney. I wouldn't be nervous if Berbatov or Nani stepped up to take one.
  11. A job has come up in Torfaen, which is right next door to Newport. I'm going to apply for eet. The only problemos is that I am in Belgiumland at the moment, so I bluddy hope that it gets there on time. The closing date is the 2nd September...so I'm going to assume it's going to get there on time. Going to send an email now too, to let the school know that it is on the way.
  12. Happy Birthday, Mollymon. If you were a Pokemans, your name would be MollyMon. You would then evolve into something else, but retain your awesome. Use tail whip! and have a great birthday.
  13. This is a bit unrelated, but still on topic somewhat: You know the Aerosmith song "I don't wanna miss a thing"? Well, there's this one part which sounds like Senor Tyler is singing "I don't wanna cloooone my eye." It is at around 3:42. So, sometimes I just can't help but hear something else. The human mind is funnier than adding cocks.
  14. It was mentioned on Match of the Day last night, which was the first I had heard about it. Really shocking and awful stuff. Stabbing his Mother, too. Some people just have no respect. As for the talk about attendances, they are very important. But, they will differ slightly week in and week out. Who knows, maybe next week The Stadium of Light will reach full capacity and St James' Park will have a few thousand empty seats. It's only a few weeks into the season, so maybe a better comparison would be to look at the attendances over a larger number of matches. Anyway, I'm still in Belgium at the moment, and because I went food shopping yesterday I knew I wasn't going to be back in time for kick-off. So, I did the more difficult thing which was to wait until Match of the Day. I tell you, I get so nervous waiting. "We could be losing 3-0 and I don't know it!" So, I watched the game, and I was a bit surprised at the margin of the scoreline at the end of the game, especially considering how well Wigan held out in the first half. Still, seeing Berbatov and Owen getting their goals made me punch the air. Great free-kick by Nani, too. Of course, Rooney getting two delighted me. Bring on the Arsenal. Berbatov looked pretty great again yesterday, too. I've got a good friend who pretty much orgasms everytime Berba feeds another pass through.
  15. You should've seen my face when I checked the results on my phone. I caught the train from Disneyland back to our hotel. Uses phone internet. See Burnley had beaten us 1-0. Sees that Carrick also missed a penalty. Feet also hurt from 3 days of trekking. The magic of Disney had died pour moi.
  16. This list sucks! I don't use gags. Gags use me. And, by that, I don't mean GaggleSixteh-four-four-four. But yes, results would be lovely. Except, it's almost 2010. Ooo, N-E DECADE Awards!
  17. If I were God, I would fiddle about with the continents. I'd move Belgium and Wales closer together. Then, just for fun, I'd move Portugal right next to Australia just to see what would happen. I think everything would be ok, but who knows? (It just took me two minutes to find the question mark key on this keyboard. Damn Dutch! And Belgians. Now I'm being told it is a French keyboard. Damn you all to hell. I can do that. I am God in this thread.) I would also bring back the Tutti Frutti ice cream, because I'm sure it's not being made anymore. If I were God, I would create a tap on all sinks, between the Hot and Cold water tap. This would be a Tutti Frutti tap, so that the whole world could have this. Also, World Peas!
  18. I never use the Thanks button, but I used it for that post. I was literally in tears and I swear that it felt like my insides were about to fall out. On topic: Grunch and Odders. That is all ye need. Do you need to know this stuff before you take A2? Or are you doing it now? I was a little confused reading your wall of headache.
  19. A 50 pound note? Hmm, he's a bit of a fool for not carrying around something smaller. I can't even remember the last time I saw one of those notes. Rich fucker. Although, I think you were doing the guy a favour. If he really only had that one note, he should be grateful for having all those shiny coins. Imagine going to a shop and buying a Twix or a Bounty with a 50 quid note. Pffft.
  20. I've got quite a few friendship groups that I belong to, but I think each one would describe me in the same way. "The pervy one who is quite inappropriate, but is allowed to get away with it!" I get away with murrrdeeeeer. A lot of my friends are girls, and they usually think of me as their younger brother and stuff, which is quite nice. For some reason, the boyfriends of these girls feel threatened or get possessive when its another guy, but when they hear I'm doing stuff with these females, "Its ok 'cos its Jim." Yeeees. Its quite cool. Haha, I'm the friend surrounded by females, but not sexing any of them! I also like having chats and conversations with people, and sometimes you just don't get that with guys. There's a few who you can with, but I just find them a bit more difficult to get along with. There's that certain level of closeness or caring that I think you rarely get with guy friends. Yeess.
  21. Hehe, I chuckled at this. This was a good and amusing read, and I had my fair load of laughs and snorts whilst reading eet. My advice would be to just dress provocatively infront of him, and basically rub in the fact that he won't be getting a piece of you. Sure, he whacked one off to your face, but...a hand is a hand. They all count. I'm not saying you should let the guy crack YOU off, but as long as its from a distance, no harm done.
  22. I'm sooo happy that the new season is back. I'm currently in Belgiumland visiting Ine, but I still found ways to follow the game. I was also pretty shocked to see Arsenal beat Everton so heavily. Away, as well. 3 points is the main thing, but it was a pretty decent performance. Especially with the makeshift back-four, including having Fabio playing at right back. I thought Nani did well, and was a bit disappointed when he was subbed at half time. His cross lead to the goal, so its showing him how effective he can be when he gets his first ball in.
  23. The good thing about memories is that they will always be there for as long as you remember them. Nobody can take those away. And, the good thing is that they are kept between you and him, and that's one special part of a friendship. Some people go through most of their lives where they just know people, and do not have that kind of bond that you had with him. So, be thankful for that. He was a good friend to you, and that's how you'll remember him.
  24. There is no agonizing wait. It's barely a few minutes. You need to get yourself some patience, boy. The boiling of the kettle is pure anticipation. It's that one moment where you know you're about to have sex. That one moment of excitement before the drop on that rollercoaster.
  25. Sorry to hear about your loss, dude. You're blaming yourself, and that is a very natural thing to do. You said yourself that you were the guy's best friend, so this is just a testimony to how well you valued his friendship. At some point in our lives, we all have a friend like that who we are very close to, but then it sometimes fades, sometimes people grow apart. That is not your fault at all. You said yourself that this guy had it all at one stage, and I guess if you have all those things and are still not happy, then maybe he saw that was never going to be happy. I guess nobody can know for sure how he was truely feeling unless you were him. *hugs for The Bard* I'm on MSN if you fancy a chat or need it.
