Ok, gentlemen. I have the opportunity to buy either Pro Evo 2008 or 2009. Now, I want to get one of these two, as they are cheap. However, how many of you will be getting the new one when that comes out? When is it out? Or, I could get the latest version, 2011. What I'm really asking is which version do people play on the most?

Cheers, mate. I'm choosing my squad now and it's such a mindfuck. I'm struggling with the strikers. I'm putting down Darren Bent, Kenwyne Jones and Robbie Keane, but Keane is worrying me since he's aging and I'm not sure how much game time he's getting. I've put a lot of emphasis on the midfield and defence, so struggling with strikers. Edit: I've tweaked my team. Here is my starting 11 for the first game of the season. De Gea - I see others are choosing him, too. I expect him to do well, plus he's got a good defence in front of him, so don't see him conceding many. Kompany - Had a fantastic season last year, expect him to have a great one this year. Don't see City conceding many. Ivanovic - Class defender. Again, don't see Chelsea conceding many. Vidic - Love the guy. A rock. Will probably be the best defender in the league, again. Jagielka - Not entirely sure, but it was between him and Hangeland. I expect Everton to start off poorly again before coming into their own. Hmm, really not sure about this one. Nani - Has a high number of assists and can score them, too. Expect him to have another good season. Yaya Toure - Probably the most under-rated player last season. Wish he had come to United. A good balance of attack and defence. Wilshere - If he doesn't bag me points, I'mma kill you Arsenal fans. Fellaini - Not sure about him. I wanted Leon Osman, but 0.5 short. FUUU. He's good defensively, but won't score me many, whereas the others can. Bent - He can score goals, which is what you want in a striker. He'll get them week in week out, but I did initially put down Suarez, then took him off for Van Persie. Ultimately, Van Persie's fitness worries me. Jones - I'm torn between him and Sturridge. I went for Jones because I think he'll play more. If Sturridge were still on loan, I'd have put him down but he's going back to Chelsea, I think? What do you think? I'm happy with Defence and Midfield, but Strikers worry me a little. They're so expensive.

Fuck that. What we really, really want is a Forum/Paper Telephone. Transferred onto the silver screen.

Aw, Zechs...three shooters (if you include BWii, four) above the likes of Little King, Silent Hill and Other M? You be tripping! As Jonnas said, an N-E top 25 would be great. Have to start thinking about my choices now.

Guys, I'm trying to join in with this Fantasy League, but I have absolutely no idea where I enter in Murr's code. What do I do exactly? Do I just sign up and make my team, or is there something else I need to do? I've just signed up and it's asking me to make my team.

N-Europe London Meet - 16th July 2011
Fierce_LiNk replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
FUUUUUUUUU. I'd had about...a million ciders or something by that point. Ok, about 4. If it's any consolation, I woke up the next morning and remembered the tunes perfectly. Also: "Hi, I'm a NintendoSixtyFouuuur, and I am Grey!" -
I'd take either that, or something similar to how Other M looked. Played like a side-scroller, but in 3D. Oh god, that would kill me. What I reeeeeally want though...Metroid II remade. It deserves a remake. Zero Mission was pretty much the first game remade, so II deserves something. I've never played it, so I dunno how well it holds up now.

I walked into a Games Workshop when I was a fair bit younger and liked the look of this. I played a quick game against somebody at the store and thought "wowwwww, I want." But, I was ultimately put off for two reasons: 1. To build a massive army, it would cost an insane amount of money and would require a lot of time painting, which I am shit at. 2. There were so many rules. There was a rule for absolutely everything. As I was a newcomer and was overwhelmed at the time, I didn't stick with it. It's very interesting and if it were half the price to buy the stuff, I would have loved it. But, instead, I pumped the money I had into videogames and never looked back.

Enjoy. Fusion is brilliant. The SA-X is creepy and shit me up a few times when I played it again recently. I want a sequel to Fusion.

I agree man, about 3 quarters or something of my Wii collection is down to used games. I picked up Trauma Centre: Second Opinion for £3 the other day! The prices that I've seen in Belgium for some games is extortion. Saying that, some places in the UK are completely inconsistent with their pricing. Whilst you can get stuff like Monster Hunter for £12 or something, you can also end up paying 35 for Epic Yarn or Mario Kart still. If you ever need games from the UK and can't ship to Portugal, send them to my address and then I'll pass them on or something. Zechs, well done for putting Other M in that list. It's probably in my personal top 5. Love it. Also, Shattered Memories is fucking brilliant.

I'm pretty self conscious, but today the sun is out and it's about 28degrees, so the t-shirt has come off. I've been playing some Frisbee and listening to a playlist consisting of Death in Vegas, Roxy Music and Sigur Ros. Somehow, it fits the mood. Has Summer arrived? I think it has!

Your Zechs Is On Fire: This is a totally misleading thread. I was expecting 25 Wii games, not 25-20. Booooo. Post eet all. Also, the rest of you all (particularly you Jonnas) should BURN IN HELL. You've never played 25 on any console? Once you get into second-hand game purchasing, it's very, very easy to pick up a large collection of games. Picked up Super Mario World from a car-boot sale years ago for £2.50. Dunno whether that's possible in Portugal, though?

I had tears in my eyes when I saw that transfer go through. Silvestre was well past it at that point. He pretty much destroyed you from the inside. I call him Le Chestburster.

The second and third post are from the Warhammer thread, which I just saw and thought it would be worth bringing up in here. You don't really help yourself. Bleating like a lamb that you're lonely and then posting shit like that in the Warhammer thread and in here is very counter-productive. Raining is trying to help you out, like others are. But first of all, you need to work on your attitude. If you don't, then I'm going to bottle you up and sell you as some sort of Woman Repellent, because that's all that attitude is useful for. Listen to what the women are saying here. Ine, Eddie and Raining have all posted, so take the advice on board.

Well, you haven't had one for a good few years now, so you'll just have to make do. Plus, we gave you the machine that was Mikael Silvestre. You had a head start over the competition! (Yeah, trollface should be posted under all my postings now)

Aliens: Infestation by WayForward for DS
Fierce_LiNk replied to darksnowman's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'm shocked! (Was it an older model?) I skimmed this forum thinking that this was some shitty rip-off or something not related to the franchise. Instead, we have this. Which looks pretty bluddy perfect. I dreamed of this game for many years. Looks excellent, and that video really got me excited. Guaranteed purchase from me. Magnificent, isn't it? -
I know, I just being a troll. :p

!!! Another Au Revoir Simone fan? I was introduced to them last year at Pukkelpop. They're brilliant. That album is just too good. I had a dream recently where I was in a pub and trying to find the toilets. Then, Au Revoir Simone came out of the ladies toilets and pointed me in the direction of the male ones. I stopped dead and asked them if they were Au Revoir Simone, and they said yes, and we talked about a bit at how awesome they were.

I was talking about the competitive leagues. *ducks from thrown objects*

Wales vs Belgium will cause tension between one portion of myself and Ine. I predict bloodshed. Also, can the new season start now, please?

There's a few games that I'd like to play. Street Fighter is one of them, and I'm more interested in Pilotwings after discovering it was from Monster. Mercenaries also looks pretty good and I'm sure I'd enjoy it. Problem is I really shouldn't shell out the money right now, because I have none. Really want one. I might hold out until some more colours come out. But, the blue, gah. Too beautiful.

Perfect Dark ran like a dream the majority of the time for me. I was amazed at just how much they tried to fit into that game. Felt like it was more than just an N64 game. That being said, the game ran terrible with four players and all the bots on. Understandably so. I think it was ok with three players, from what I remember. I think Goldeneye also suffered from slowdown in four player mode? That was quite noticeable. There was one moment in Ocarina of Time where I was in The Lost Woods (on the way back from the Forest Temple to the Woods) and there was a huge enemy with the hammer. I've forgotten the name of that character, but when defeated it would cause quite a bit of slowdown when it vaporised. Looked very awesome though.

Sunday can cause complications though, especially if you're travelling by public transport. I know my housemate has problems when she finishes her night-shift on the Sunday, because the buses only start a certain time and are less regular. So, if Sunday is to be treated like a regular working day, then wouldn't it also be better for public transport to run like a regular working day, shops to be open the same hours, etc?
