Yeah, I'm with you there. I felt really sorry for the mother and daughter who were sat behind him. The guy did not stop for the entire journey and it was pretty loud. He sounded quite aggressive. One thing that I also dislike is when people use a particular phrase that just sounds quite rude to me. "Jim, can you please empty the bin downstairs?" It annoys me when the word pleased is stressed. It sounds rude. Not entirely sure if the person saying it is trying to be rude or not. Sometimes the person using that phrase says it with good intention, but it doesn't work for me. "Jim, can you empty the bin downstairs, please?" Sounds better. It sounds more like a request.

What the shmit? No posts since April? Dit is niet goed. Ine was in the UK for about two weeks recently, so I managed to temporarily sign her up to the gym I go to. It was a bit strange, since I tend to do it by myself and it has been years since I actually went to the gym with somebody else. Went pretty well, though. She's got pretty strong legs and some strength in her back. Hopefully we'll do that again when she comes down. I've realised now that I have muscle but not a great deal of mass. Particuarly on my legs. My calves and quads are not that big, but can take a battering. My diet is on the right track, but it does make you realise how expensive it must be to properly bulk up. Food ain't cheap. Also, did some leg-work with Ine the day before travelling to Belgium. We were both in agony the next day and the day after. In fact, I'm still not totally recovered. Stuuuupid idea.

Ell, I think you and I are at the same place in the game! I feel like I've pumped a lot of hours into this game, but I realise that I've done fuck all really. I just spend my time collecting tax and doing sidequests. Too much in this game to do. It's all hard in places. It makes me want to cry. Fiendishly charming, though.

Gah, I thought I'd use this summer to play through some of my uncompleted Wii games or to restart some games that I want to play through again. Instead, I bought Monster Hunter Tri, which I hear sucks all the time out of your life. And, Trauma Centre: Second Opinion. Silly cheap gamessss.

Ine's got a blue 3DS and I'm in love with it. It's beautiful to look at, the interface is great, there's a fair bit of content pre-loaded on the system and the 3D works like a charm for me. I've only got the original DS, so this seems like a massive step up from it. I'm annoyed, because I was trying to convince myself that I didn't need this. But, the more I use, the more I want. This, Kid Icarus, New Mario and Luigi's Mansion make me want this. Fucking Nintendo.

Why didn't they just give this name a title along the lines of Super Mario Sunshine or Super Mario Galaxy. So, Super Mario something. 3D Land doesn't work for me. The game itself looks absolutely wonderful, though. Can't wait.

Mario Kart Seven for some reason reminds me of Led Zeppelin II. Or III. Or IV for that matter! I can't decide whether I like the name or not. On the one hand, it's simple, you won't forget it and it abbreviates nicely to either MKS or MK7. On the other hand, giving it a number does give you the impression that Nintendo are churning out this game, like the Mario Party series. When the game is in my hands, I won't care.

A tiny bit insensitive considering some of the posts above yours. Sorry to hear about the stuff you're going through Wolfy and Serebii.

Banter is over-used in the South of England. When I was working in Brighton, one of my work-mates used to use it all the damn time. "That was great banter last night." "The banter was good." It wouldn't be as bad if it was used sparingly. I hate the word "cunt", particularly when it's used by lager louts. It's vile. That's probably the desired effect, but it's still horrible. On the national express down to London, Ine and I were sat two seats in front of this Irish boy who talked on his mobile phone non-stop for the entire journey, which was 2 and a half hours long. The guy had a really thick accent which made it difficult to work out entirely what he was saying, but he placed emphasis on the swear words. I remember this one sentence: "What's that cunt coming to my house for? The cancer-headed bastard." Nice.

He could kick Zechs into a goal.

Amy had a great voice, although I never really fully connected with much of her music. It sounded good but never grabbed me. It was also pretty sad to see her gradually lose weight over the years, as well. She looked so much better before, and I guess that went hand in hand with her issues. As for the rest of this thread: It's made both me and Ine chuckle several times. I would pay good money to see Dwarf and Zechs bump into each other and the mass brawl that would ensue. Maybe Zechs could wear some anti-drug slogan t-shirts, it would add to eet. My money's on Dwarf. Upon seeing his footie skills video a while back, it looks like he can handle himself. A little.

Internets: Serious Business. Couldn't resist. "Super Mario" should disappear down the warp pipe he originated from.

So, Claire, eh? Pics or this is not true. I demand a picture of you next to a mudkipz on your computer screen. Or printed. Either way. Theeeen, I will believe this to be true. Edit: Welcome, by the way.

*signs in* Happy Birthday, Mr Paul. Xavi says: "I hope that your family and friends bought you a new football team, since the old one is broken!" I joke! Happy Birthday, dude. *post button* *sign ouuuuut* -
So, ya...I saw this in HMV for 12 quid, hyper-ventilated and bought it. An absolute steal for a game I've been after for a while. Although, I am aware that it sucks up loads of your time, so that's one reason why I held off. Played a good few hours of it, so far. I've seen glimpses to suggest that this game is massive. Question: Is it possible for two people to go hunting on one Wii? Or, is it just that arena battle thing? If so, a bit disappointing that it doesn't use the saved data from the game for that. I'm doing a quest where I have to get Monster Guts. Sucking at that one. Also, I've found my weapon of choice...Tha Hammmmaaaaaarrrr. Holding the Z button to run with that and swipe at enemies is fun. Use the hammer, dude. Press the Z button to do that power-up type of thing, run towards the goats and smash them to shit.

N-Europe London Meet - 16th July 2011
Fierce_LiNk replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
I thought the meet was great. I was more up for it this year than last, for some reason. Yeah, the weather was shitty and there wasn't a secure plan. But, they were small glitches on an otherwise fucking awesome day. Odwin, I want to marry you. Had a great laugh speaking to you. Top guy. Also, Rummy, I now know that you love the Lion King Musical, as well as butterflies (which I learned last year). We seemed to talk for ages about that. Was gutted you didn't stay for longer! A massive shout out has to go to Nami and Shorty for providing excellent company and just being all-round nice people. Would definitely love to hang out with you guys, again. On the whole, loved that day and even enjoyed meeting up with others on the Sunday (through planned-ness and also chance...ness). You were all lovely company and nice to talk to. Some of my highlights would be: - Umbrella Fortress Unite - Arguing over which buttons were used for Ocarina of Time songs - Dyson never finishing Majora's Mask and the debate that ensued about this - Coolness Bears' face at his 'folded pizza in a bag' - Dancing to Rage Against The Machine, with alcohol, outside a church - Lion King Musical Chattttter - Cider appreciation with Dyson Really enjoyed it, thought the turnout was outstanding. Was very saddened that our group of myself, Ine, Coolness, Nami and Shorty couldn't say bye to those of you still remaining in the pub. -
That was insane. She had several near misses before that moment...heed the warnings, bitch. It was amazing how the guy was predicting what she was going to do next, and it happened. Amazing how stupid people can be. That poor guy getting hit...fuck. Did he recover?

Second page and already the love is lost? Cmaaan, men. Chill out. In other news: I fucking love The Verve. Rolling Peopleeeee.

This is so true. Placebo covered this song when I saw them, and whilst I liked the cover, it was literally just the same version but with Brian's vocals. I can understand why, though. It's a good song, so they're just singing it how they like it, in it's original form. Fair enough. I love how Dave Grohl looks like a geeky high-school girl in that video.

The BBC are running with the story as well. Nasri has a year left, so Arsene has a number of options: - Sell him on, use the money to bring in someone else - Sell him in January if he's no closer to signing for a deal, but he will go for less money - Keep him now, and let him go on a free transfer next year - Persuade him to stay. He hasn't done this yet. Cesc...well...he's gone already, imo. The longer Arsenal keep him, the longer the focus will detract from the rest of the team and the longer it will be kept on Cesc's future. It's a massive distraction and it no doubt will cause unrest in the dressing room if you're not sure if you're Captain is staying or going. A line needs to be drawn under it, which is either to sell him on or to properly tell Barca to fuuuuuuuck offffff. Cesc needs to do this himself. No more "I'm wearing Barca tops with my mates Puyol and Pique" bullshit.

I remember this one. I think it was Danny and the Arbitor, pretty sure we were the only three left at that point. I was expecting us to put a vote down but we didn't. I remember wanting to rage-quit my life that day.

It was pretty much uphill after ReZ died. We knew we were on the back foot since that point. When we lost a second mafia, that's when we realised how tough it would be. There was one golden part in the game where I think we got 3 quick kills or something? Well done to the mafia for working well as a team. Townies played well. Annoyingly so, particularly that last day phase. I still maintain you had little on me.

Will there be a sequel, Donut? If so, I sign up nawww.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_7032855,00.html So, it's looking increasingly likely Nasri will be off to Man City. Don't think he's a player that they need, but they're stock-piling players to stop their rivals from having them.

Yvonne...you better stay around on the forums now. OR ELSE YOU WILL DIE.
