I've got this pre-ordered, but won't actually be playing it until December, when I finish work for Christmas. The reason behind it is that we have assessments and reports to get done in the next few weeks, so I won't be able to properly give this my full attention. Zelda is very important. When I play a new Zelda, I don't really do a lot else. I want to give this my full attention. Also, playing it around Christmas time...magical. Quietly getting excited now.

Ok Computer is regarded by many as the better album, but The Bends will always be my favourite one. Nando, what sorta stuff are you into? I don't really know how anything like Paranoid Android or Karma Police can be seen (or heard, aha) as boring. They're brilliant. :awesome:

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!
Fierce_LiNk replied to Aneres11's topic in General Chit Chat
Ray of Light is brilliant. I love it. Am listening to Fade to Black. Love it. Had it on all day. -
Are you allergic to amazing music, or something?

Yaaaaay! Who else is looking forward to the Internationals on the weekend?

Seriously, IGN did that? Are they thick as pig shit? Talk about a lack of common sense. I don't really check any other games sites apart from this one now. But, still, there's bound to be loads of people who have seen that. Just, don't really understand the point of it. Was it like a "so and so is in Zeldaaa" thing? If so...why?

Gamasutra editor will ban you if you make him look silly!

I'm really confused. I've been reading the name of the site as Gamesultra, and was about to say "hey, waitaminute, we've got a Gamesultra guy here." Only just read it as Gamasutra and laughed. That's a brilliant name, in a lame kinda way. Anyway, I've never heard of that site and don't really care about them. Or Ubisoft. But, welcome to you. -
Not one mention for Killer 7? I hope you all burn in hell! Here's roughly what my Top 10 is. 1. Eternal Darkness (fuck yeeeeah! One of my favourite ever games) 2. Super Smash Bros. Melee 3. Metroid Prime 4. Killer 7 (probably ties with Prime for third place) 5. F Zero GX 6. Resident Evil REmake 7. Super Mario Sunshine 8. Pikmin 9. Resident Evil Zero 10. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker I don't count Resident Evil 4 or Twilight Princess as I own the Wii Editions. So, I put them on the Wii list instead. No room for Mario Kart: Double Dash, because it's shit. Haven't played enough of Prime 2 to justify it on the list. But, I'm glad RE:0 is on there. Loved it. REmake was also very, very awesome.

I'm eating pizza, so sorry, can't help you. Yum yum yum.

I'm happy for you. Please spend as much time at work as you can. Don't worry about the internet *cough*xpert11*cough*, it can take care of itself. Enjoy yourself.

Screw you haters, the Zelda 3DS (the outer part) looks hot. I look at it, and all I can think of is...Mecca. The black and gold combination does eet for me. I'm still waiting for a silver or purple 3DS. Make it "sparkly" like the aqua/blue, and we have a deal.

It would've been awesome to have Super Mario Galaxy 3 on the Wii, just to round off that trilogy. And then, maybe go for something new on the Wiiiiiuuu. Would be great to potentially have a Galaxy game as a launch title. But, might be better to go for something different. Not sure what, though. Once Mario has gone into space, what more is left to explore? Under the sea? Super Mario Submarineeee!

Xpert 11 Season 20: The Ascent into History

I was just reading yesterday how Ali was wishing Joe well with his recovery/battle. Then, checked the internet today during break at work, and saw Joe had died. Really took me aback. So very sudden, but yet we knew he was ill. Horrible, instantly felt very sad by this. RIP, Joe. Iun, to answer your question: I wouldn't want to suffer for years. I can't imagine anything worse knowing that you're slowly deteriorating until you die. But then, you could say we're all doing that, in a way. What's for sure is that both guys will be remembered for how they were true kings in the ring, and great competitors. I'm sure that's how both want to be remembered anyway. Not for how they left this world.

Xpert 11 Season 20: The Ascent into History
Fierce_LiNk replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Glad that game is out of the way. It went fine and my new striker managed to get two goals. I'm looking forward to this season finishing, although we still have work to do. I want to see if anyone goes up a skill level. I've also got one or two pieces of deadwood that I'm looking to shift. They're making up the numbers at the moment, but I'll be looking for a new player in area each. Bar goalkeeper, unless someone special comes along. The game against DuD's Baggies may well decide who gets fourth place, although the games against Emo Blades (boooo) and Cubic County will be fucking hard. Very hard games to finish the season off with. Expecting to get nothing from them. -

No lower league report for a while. I am saddings. Got an away game tomorrow against Zimmertron. I guess nervous in these types of games, because I'm supposed to get a good score-line, seeing as the other player hasn't logged in for weeeeks. I only narrowly beat the Hammerboys away, despite having 9 chances, guessing their formation, etc. DRAGOOOOO!! -
Sleep is pretty important. I've massively underestimated it over the years, and am beginning to appreciate it now. Three sessions in is still early days. You'll have a run of good ones, and then one which probably isn't as great as the rest. Happens to everybody. I get some sessions now where I think "ya, I should've done better" or "today was not a good day."

1 billion? That's a heeellll of a lot of people. It shouldn't be made out to be a negative thing. It's a great thing. You don't particularly have to be great with girls to "pull" on a date. I did a loooooooad of stupid shit when I initially met Ine. Three years later, I have ensnared her in my trap. The problem is that we men seem to have it in our minds that these women only expect perfection, and that they are perfection themselves. Nobody is perfect. They won't go off you because you say silly stuff. It's not actually as huge a thing as we make it out to be. If you can speak to another person without killing them or making them angry, then you can do so to a woman. If not, then you're talking to the wrong one.

A lot of things can affect recovery. How much sleep did you get, for example? Did you get enough of the right foods? I don't think one beer every so often will destroy your fitness. If you're going out getting hammered every weekend, then it won't help. What I do if I've had alcohol the day before is try not to do a heavy lifting session. So, some running, cycling, hula-hooping (yeah...) or skipping (double yeah). Unless you're feeling particularly up for it and know you'll be able to lift a good amount. If not, I try to sweat it out. I usually feel pretty great afterwards.

HAhahaha, black panthers. Always makes me think of Forest Gump. "I'm sorry I had to fight in the middle of your Black Panther party!"

I own all of those. The world especially needs to play more Shattered Memories. If we ever got some sort of sequel, like a spiritual successor, I would FINISH.
