Awww fuck yeah. Get Tomb Raider. So, that's The Last of Us, Drive Club, BloodBorne and Tomb Raider. Awesome. That'll keep you sorted for a long while. As for Axiom Verge, I've heard good things about it. Not in the mood for eet at the moment since all I want to do is BloodBorne, but will check it out eventually. You're unlucky not to have joined PS+ last month. OddWorld, Valiant Hearts, Counterspy and OlliOlli2. Incredible month. Gutted, brah.

Uncharted Remastered Trilogy (Unconfirmed)
Fierce_LiNk replied to Happenstance's topic in Other Consoles
I never played Asylum because I was a poverty Nintendo console owner solely. I loved City. It helped that in my head I imagined this was Batman Begins the game, or something. I thought it was awesome. I liked how there were several different stories going on at once. Would kill for moar of that. As for this, this is probably one of the HD-re-releases that actually makes the most sense. It means that the entire series will be playable on one system, which is how it should be. I felt the same way when Metroid Prime Trilogy came out. -
You're getting Drive Club at the right time, @Goron_3. It runs like a dream, the weather system is excellent and there's all the stuff like the extra tours and replay mode. Get on that!

Apparently Hotline Miami 2 is cross-buy. I didn't know that. If you want Bloodborne and TLoU, then £349 seems like a good deal to me. I'd hop on that. DriveClub is wonderful, beautiful, wow much beauty, such sound, etc. One of my favourite games. £20 off amazon. Obviously get PS+.

Uncharted Remastered Trilogy (Unconfirmed)

I'm grateful for it. Never owned any Playstation up until now and I was feeling a bit reluctant to dive in to Uncharted 4 knowing nothing about the series or the stories before it. So...for me, this is fantastic news. I bought Tomb Raider, The Last of Us and Metro Redux as they all appeared on systems I didn't own already. There's an audience out there who never got the chance to experience these games, so it makes sense to cater to them. As we've seen, doing a definitive edition of Tomb Raider doesn't mean that there won't be another one. Same with Uncharted. -
Looking at it from multiple ways, it really is bad PR. It's bad because you're pissing off the people who want it there in the first place, it's bad because their reasoning is flawed and it's bad because it just perpetuates the image of Nintendo being a kiddy console maker solely. Not including this type of feature will push away gamers. It'll push away those who want that teamwork and strategic element (I'm calling bullshit on anyone who says that this isn't strategic/teamwork based or that you don't need communication for that) and it'll push away those who like to socialise whilst gaming. The easiest and wisest thing to do would be to only let you communicate with your friends. There, job done, everyone is happy. I'm struggling to believe that Nintendo didn't consider this avenue, which means that they must have actively gone against that idea.

Isn't it depressing? I've finished high school, been to uni, graduated, met Ine and been with her for seven years, found my first teaching job and kept that for half a decade and moved city/town three times...all in the time since F Zero GX came out. If we don't see a new one at this year's E3, I don't think we'll see one during the WiiU's lifetime.

It's a wonderful game, isn't it? One of my favourites on the PS4. First retail game I got for the system, too. Did you download this? I think there was a deal on the PSstore recently.

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!
Fierce_LiNk replied to Aneres11's topic in General Chit Chat
This is my favourite version of that song: It's shorter but it feels much more visceral as a result of it. -
New games are up. There are also two new themes that are available to download, one of which is a static Bloodborne theme.

I watched part of that podcast (from where you said) and quite enjoyed it! Completely and utterly true what they say about Bloodborne. I had the EXACT same criticisms at the start and did the thing that he said that he never does but did for this (posting to twitter/facebook). I don't know how it does it, but this game manages to alienate you right at the start. The comparison to being a newborn baby is true. It's definitely won me around, although I don't know how or why. I don't even know why I like this game. By all rights, it shouldn't work and it should be my most/ the most hated game there is, but somehow it's the opposite. Ine has ordered a cross-trainer and it's getting delivered today. I want to play this game but can't as there is no way to pause (another reason why I should hate it but don't!)...I woke up this morning and my one urge was to Bloodborne.

Jeremy Clarkson will be guest presenting Have I Got News For You on 24th April. Might just watch that.

We've got tough games coming up. City at home Chelsea away Everton away West Brom home Palace away Arsenal at home Hull away It should be doable, we're certainly expected to stay in the top four now until the end of the season. I think four wins out of the remaining seven should do it. Would be delighted to beat City at home, although they're going to be out to prove a point after their recent results. Who does everyone think will go down? Current bottom six are: Sunderland 29 Aston Villa 29 Hull 28 QPR 26 Burnley 26 Leicester 22 I think Leicester are gone for sure. I'm expecting Sunderland to be ok. So, any two of Villa, Hull, QPR and Burnley. Burnley will be gone, unfortunately. I think Villa and Hull will just make it, with QPR going down. Ohhh, Hull have got some nasty fixtures. Southampton away Liverpool home Palace away Arsenal home Burnley home Spurs away United home

I think you'll find that I haven't. Provided that Grazza isn't purposefully posting to just wind that guy up or harass him, providing that he's posting actual meaningful contributions, he can feel aggrieved to be locked out. There is a clear difference to what has happened to him and what has happened to you and Wii. Of course, you won't see that.
-
It doesn't matter how old the kid is, that isn't an issue here. It's to do with censorship. If Grazza is making valid points, then he should be allowed to have his say. It's not fair to lock him out just because the author doesn't agree with his points, as long as he is conducting himself in the right way. Well, for one thing, it is there to prevent harassment, as you know already.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided [PS4, PC XOne]
Fierce_LiNk replied to CoolFunkMan's topic in Other Consoles
I need to play Human Revolution at some point. Great news though. I never played the original game, are they heavily story orientated and linked in together? -
Yeah, it may be time to collect...games.
-
I imagine that once you buy one, you then have the mindset of, "well...may as well get them all now!"
-
That's a nice long weapon you have there. You compensating?

I don't think the music box worked for me either. I went into the fight confident that the box would make it a doddle, and it seemingly failed. Paniiiic. I managed to get through it, somehow.
-
Woah, really? That's even more impressive then. There will be balancing issues, but those can be worked on. Still, very impressive. I'm convinced that the character can work, there's tons of potential there.
