Yeah, no real difference with either penalty. It does irritate me when players hold the opposition or vice versa during corners and free kicks. Imo, any holding should result in either a penalty or free kick for the other team. Don't know why players continue to do it. Smalling does it and it pisses me off every single time.

I missed that in the build up to the goal. Saw the goal, though. Good finish. 2-1 West Ham now. This is the turning point, imo. No Vardy next game either.

Haha. I like Everton. They're a good club, they've got a great team and I quite like Martinez. But, it hasn't worked for them this year. They've had a huge opportunity to get either into or close to the top four, but they've blown it. They should be in the spot West Ham are in now.

That Liverpool game was insane. That's a huge result for them against a very good Dortmund team. Really wish we had Klopp as our manager. Think he'd succeed with the players we have here, especially the youngsters. Klopp at Liverpool next season. Guardiola at City. Conte at Chelsea. Poch at Spurs after the season they've had. Leicester will consider themselves invincible and Ranieri will be treated like a God, even if they do end up only finishing second. Koeman continuing to do good things at Southampton. Bilic getting West Ham to play excellent football. Can't say that I'm optimistic about next season, as a United fan. We've really dropped a bollock this year. All seven of those teams have played better than us this season. Seriously hope the club make the right appointment in the summer because if we do stick with Van Gaal, which I'm worried we'll do, I think all of those teams will finish above us next season.

...I actually forgot Retro existed. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was released in 2007. The two DK games were 2010 and 2014. So, we should be seeing something from them pretty soon if we say that there's a 2/3/4 year ish gap between releases. Seriously hope it's not another DK game.

Haha, no worries. Still excited. 70k for a house, @Raining_again?! Not going to happen, at least not for hundreds of miles where I currently am. In general, it's depressing how over-valued the houses are here. Some of the shit we've seen for this price range is just...no thanks. Hoping we get something that can be worked with for a reasonable price.

Lol, the film will ONLY be distributed on UMD and 3DS cards, so can only be viewed on the 3DS and PSP. Haha, maybe on an old school GameBoy cartridge, too.

I enjoyed Avatar but I think Cameron has missed the boat on this. It's waaaaaay too late. The world has moved on. Just give us a true sequel to Aliens or a proper Terminator film and everyone will be happy. Ok, not everyone, but I will be. Please do what I want.

Well...somebody wanted to go to bed at half past 1/quarter to 2 with a cuppa and read The Walking Dead but wasn't allowed to because the other one wanted to get the trophies. I'll give you a clue. It was me. It was quite fun though. Pretty funny when you've got your own arsehole team-mates following you trying to kill @Eenuh. I had one keep partner-spawning on me and killing her, to which she let out a "nooooooooooo". We tried to find really odd and quiet places on the maps where nobody else would turn up. Quite tricky.

Woooooo. My deload has gone quite well. I'm trying to focus on working the muscle with the lighter weight and am upping it gradually. I've got myself into a good routine of weight and cardio. Hope school starting again doesn't affect it too much. I'm actually quite enjoying using the cross trainer/elliptical, it's not as boring as I imagined.

I think I watched all of the conferences last year. It was actually quite fun and insightful being able to watch all of them, even if you just have them on in the background whilst you're doing something else. I'll probably do the same with this one, too. The GameTrailers' reactions were amazing. I loved how into it they were and it's nice to see excitement and enthusiasm from people following this stuff. The Twilight Princess reactions were also brilliant all those years ago. A very fond memory. I hope we get moments like that every year or at least frequently.

There wasn't a FIFA 13 for PS4. Of course, it would be better and easier for everyone if FIFA were released on everything. I would have preferred at the time to have a FIFA (or at least a better one) on WiiU but it was just another reason to change systems. I still find it hard to believe that it'd be the only reason...that's a looooot of money to just play FIFA! I wouldn't say it's a guarantee that the NX will get one either. It could even be the same as the WiiU in that it'll be a token gesture (e.g. based on an older or inferior version of the game) and maybe that'll be it. Also, not related but... There's no real need for comments like that. We should all be able to debate without resorting to lows like that. We're better than that.

Mmm, pizza. We're thinking about coming but it really depends on what are overall plans are the summer/next coming months. Could potentially be moving house, but not sure how likely that is. We're interested, though.

I figured Lando could potentially be a hero at some point but I've been stuck with villains. Wonder who the others will be: 8 characters = 4 heroes and 4 villains. 4 Heroes = Nien Nunb, Lando for definite. Chewbacca and Yoda as the others? Wonder if they'll stay away from Yoda due to him being small as fuck and difficult to aim at. C3PO would be fucking hilarious...an outside bet? 4 Villains = Greedo and Dengar for definite. I reckon one of the others could be Bossk (another Bounty Hunter from Empire Strikes back) and maybe Grand Moff Tarkin as a Han Solo blaster type of character? I think that would be balanced. It could be even better if they do allow Episode 7 stuff or even things from Rogue One. Ooooh, could that be the final DLC? I know that's the only one unannounced. I reckon that must be it.

I've got to admit that I find the whole PSN outage thing reeeeally over the top, tbh. We're online a lot (at least 4 evenings a week for at least an hour gaming, before even counting things like Netflix or PSNow) and I can't say it's ever been a laggy service or experienced that much downtime. Never had a problem with download or uploading times either. I think the worst bit was when that whole stuff with the Lizard Squad took place, but we're talking well over a year and it's been smooth since then.

It's inconceivable because the previous versions of FIFA were absolute garbage compared to their other console counterparts. I owned FIFA08 on the Wii and whilst I thought it was ok, that was in the full knowledge that what I had paid for was in fact still a vastly inferior product compare to what the other consoles had. Nothing the Wii versions had made up for that. It was the same for all the other releases. They were vastly inferior. The WiiU version of FIFA 13 was shite and wasn't even the same FIFA13 that other consoles had. It was a gimped version that was closer to 12. (Kids playing CoD is just a lol-worthy subject and I'm not even going to attempt going there) If FIFA was that serious to any audience, you'd never even attempt to buy it on a Nintendo system, at least not for the last decade. It's lacked key features, it's got a much smaller userbase which affects the online portion and it's just an all-round inferior product. It's been consistently shit. Hell, you could pick up a 360 or PS3 second hand for less than the cost of a WiiU and get your FIFA glad-rags there.

In your case, having COD and FIFA on WiiU wouldn't make a single ounce of difference. The actual key thing here is that your son's friends all have other consoles. If your Son had access to FIFA on WiiU, he still wouldn't be able to play with his friends. Having EA back would be good, but the big issue is that the other systems have always built up their userbases. It's become the norm now to buy an Xbox or Playstation and being able to play against your friends with these games. It's not the norm on WiiU. Those userbases are not as built up. Even if the next Battlefront were to come to WiiU, I wouldn't buy it because the userbase just isn't there. The numbers are much smaller and it would take an age to find a game. For the last ten years, a Nintendo console just isn't "seen" as the place to buy and play the latest CoD and FIFA. It's partly an image problem and partly a branding one.

I really enjoyed reading that, @Ashley. Well done. Very interesting to see those stats. I was shocked at just how few games were released on the N64 compared to the other Nintendo machines.
