  1. This looked great in the conference. Am going to give the demo a try and see what's up.
  2. Fuck me, that Sony conference was absolutely outstanding. We watched it with a takeaway and it had us gripped from the start. That orchestra did a fantastic job. Game of the show for me was probably God of War. It looked completely awesome and so damn beautiful. Will definitely be interested in that! Detroit, Horizon, a release date for The Last Guardian, Hideo Kojima being there and introducing his new game, Spiderman (looked wicked!), the VR stuff and Resident fucking Evil. I really enjoyed it. Days Gone looked pretty interesting, too. (I really wish Nintendo would rewind the clock and do a conference like this...)
  3. South Park looks absolutely fantastic. I was roaring in laughter during all of that segment. Day one.
  4. This is an appalling Belgian performance.
  5. Not going to grumble at this. This is one game that I've been looking out for and I'm quite eager to play it.
  6. Belgium have been pretty disappointing so far. The movement has been static and it's just been so predictable. It's very similar to watching Man Utd this season. Nobody willing to make any runs, pointless balls sideways and backwards and no cutting edge. It's criminal for a team to be playing this way with that amount of talent in the side. Can see Italy finishing this game off 2-0 now. Fuck sake!
  7. It got very slow in the second half. I think I paid more attention to EA's press conference! Not sure what to think about tomorrow's games. I've gone for: Spain 2 - 0 Czech Republic Republic of Ireland 0 - 0 Sweden Belgium 2 - 1 Italy I'm really not sure on that middle game there. I can't see many goals in that one at all...think it could be a boring and slow game.
  8. Gah, I really want to watch the Sony one live but I can't because of work. Would one of you kind people be willing to help a brother out here? Can one of you PM me or email me a link to the conference afterwards? So I can watch it later on after work? Trying to stay spoiler free here. I think we'll do the annual takeaway plus conference tradition. Indian, maybe? I'm in the mood now after that EA showing!
  9. God dammit. I had Poland down to win 2-0 and Germany 3-0. Both didn't reach their targets. Explain yourself, @drahkon. I'm top of my work's league, so far. You get 10 points for a correct result but 40 for correct score. I've dropped 60 points today, imo.
  10. Pretty cute. The sort of game I'd like to play and a bit quirky. One to watch out for! *still needs to play Unravel*
  11. Looks great! The part around the 40 second mark is where I get excited the most. The setting there looks great. Am interested to see how the whole dynamic weather thing works out.
  12. If you switch the T and F around in Titanfall, it becomes FitanTall. FIGHTING TALL. That's so clever.
  13. Can't believe you stopped at Novigrad. I fell in love with that place and wanted to explore everything there. It's really well designed. Did you buy the expansions?
  14. I remember playing A Link To The Past a few years back and thinking about the dungeon design, including how labyrinthine certain dungeons felt. I'm glad that this video touched on this. There's something incredible charming about the game and I think a large part of that is the 2D perspective. The Eastern Palace, for example, looks fantastic because of the overlapping sections. Really tempted to play through A Link To The Past again in the summer.
  15. You enjoying it then? Where are you now?
  16. The point is that it should never have come to that. The changes should have been made sooner to prevent this sort of occurrence from happening. England are not that strong defensively, so trying to close out a game 1-0 in such a way was never going to work. The truth is that Roy's game management cost England the maximum points and now we don't know how England are going to be mentally when going into the next game. The changes were far too late, imo. Not even necessarily the right changes either. That's what cost England the 3 points. Wales made the right changes yesterday, as did France the day before and they all finished with 3 points.
  17. Looks juicy. I'm hoping we get more stage transitions. Think Metropolis was the only one that had 3 transitions. Would be cool to have more like that.
  18. I don't necessarily think that the formation or system or players were wrong. England created chances and already the football is better than the shit we've played in the last tournament. But, they weren't clinical enough. Kane and Sterling were disappointing last night. There's just some odd things going on that perhaps a better manager would have sorted out quickly. I can't understand why another striker wasn't thrown on when we needed a goal. We bought Vardy, Sturridge and Rashford for situations such as this, where we'd be chasing a goal and would need somebody to come on and add some spark to the game. The problem is that when Roy subbed off Milner, he tried to consolidate the lead with a defence that isn't particularly great and in a game where we should have been 3 or 4 up by then. Had he taken Sterling off and maybe found a way to get Vardy or Sturridge on, we could have got that second goal. Did we really need to wait until the 78th minute before making our first change? However, they had the ball, they looked great with it and the chances were there. Maybe starting the next game with Vardy up top would be beneficial, or even finding a way to get the two on. There are options there.
  19. I don't think the subs were great and I agree with your criticism of Sterling. I feel that we've got a great chance here with a great squad and we've got to make the most of it. Vardy just had to come on. Or even someone like Sturridge or Rashford. Someone who's lucky to get a tap-in inside the box, because that was really all that was missing. I've got to say that I have no idea what Joe Hart was doing with the goal. He's a player that could do with some competition at both club and international level. I remember watching Barcelona played United in the Champions League Semi-Final (second leg in particular) in 2008, where we were under constant pressure. Van Der Sar was heroic in the box and he calmed things down immensely. We needed Hart to do that when it really mattered tonight. I could see Wales getting a result on Thursday. I can see this group getting messy now with England having to keep an eye on how the other games are going.
  20. Let's be honest, this is shit. Playing really well against a shit Russian team who barely got out of their own half, only scoring one past them and conceding so late on is typical England and completely crap. I'm annoyed more than anything. This should have been a comfortable 3-0 victory, even 4 or 5 if we really wanted to make a statement. There were enough chances there for that to happen. Yes, the football was good, but this isn't a 38 game season where you can get a run together and build on performances for the rest of the year. England could quite realistically only have 3 games to play. Seeing how both Wales and Slovakia played earlier, England have just made this group harder than it needed to be. Whoever told Kane to take corners needs a lobotomy.
  21. Yeah...I'd rather have video replays than an extra pair of eyes.
  22. Skrtel is a dirty, dirty player.
  23. Still not bothered by this. New games will still be supported on my current systems and will look at least as good as they currently do at the moment. I've not got a 4K telly and am not really interested in spending more money on another system that will use that tv well.
