I was aiming for about 300 or so calories under maintenance, but then had a really nasty chest infection which has thrown things into disarray. I've changed my rep range to 3 sets of 8, so naturally I'm using less weight than before. I think having to restart due to chest infection, tiredness and stress from work has made me more mentally tired than anything. I'm at 75kg now. We'll see how it goes.

Well done, Portugal. Good luck in the final. You'll need it... I thought Wales were really poor in the second half. They came out too slow and they lost their shape too easily. The substitutions killed the game because that shape that they kept so well throughout the competition was lost and you had players struggling to make the right passes because they couldn't make out where their team-mates were. The fluidity was lost. Bale played too much in deep midfield and not higher up the pitch. It killed any attack Wales had because there weren't enough numbers going forward. He tried to do it all himself tonight and there wasn't that trust there in the team to pull through together. This was a very "England" performance in that it didn't feel like they were a cohesive team tonight. Definitely the weakest performance so far this competition for them. Buuuuut, they've been awesome throughout and to even make the semi-final is a huge fucking deal. I'm really proud of them and it's nice being able to see my friends from back home have something to cheer about. They've learned a lot from this competition and it's good for the future of the sport in Wales.

I enjoyed the actual gameplay of Sonic Generations but the "hub" and level-select bits were an absolute pain in the arse. I found the design messy and busy beyond belief. I'd prefer a much more straightforward design, or just a clearer or easier-to-use overworld. The actual gameplay was fun. I'm also a fan of Sonic Colours, too. Wouldn't say no to more of that.

Iceland endured a rocky first half against France, but they came back strong in the second half and kept going. They could actually have scored 3 or 4 by the end of the night, which is crazy. I thought their performance was fantastic, despite the loss. Their fans were a credit to their country and I thought that their players deserve applause for the way that they kept going, even when they were 4-0 down at the break. France were there to make a statement, but they looked defensively vulnerable, imo. No idea what the score between them and Germany will be now. Tempted to go with a 1-1 or 2-2 before it heads into extra-time.

Considering who these countries are and which players were on the pitch, I think the game was a complete letdown. I was disappointed with the performances from both sides, but the time-wasting (particularly in extra-time) was top class. A new level was reached yesterday. I have a feeling that we'll get a much better game today.

The key to success is to have no association with Spurs whatsoever. I'm pretty sure it's on the application form when you apply for the Welsh National Team.

What impresses me most about this performance is just how much variety there was to Wales' play. They were tight in defence, they could go through the middle and they had width. The pace with which they played was great and it made for a really interesting match. There are going to be comparisons to England now for months. If Wales can play like this, England should be able to at least match that. The next 5 or 6 years are going to be important and there will be so much focus on the under-21s now to come through and gain experience playing together at tournaments.

I thought the Welsh performance against Russia was the best I had ever seen. I was wrong. THAT performance against Belgium was incredible. Deserved winners. I feel bad for Belgium, for @Eenuh's sake. They played well actually, they just couldn't get that final ball. Perhaps should have had a penalty or two.

Aaron Ramsey will miss the next game if Wales go through. I really hate that rule. Stupid and irritating.

We're both enjoying it, although @Eenuh was getting more annoyed as the half went on. Hazard and De Bruyne need to get into the game more. Wales are bossing it in midfield.

That goal was about 3 miles offside. Can't believe Wales aren't 6-0 up already.
