Haha yeah I never expected it. Never even asked for a cat because its really a lot for everyone to take on (at kitten age for sure!) as it needs lots of attention and things like that. I nearly dropped when they told me... and apparently they were all keeping it a secret for ages and were dying to tell me!! What a cruel family hahah!

about 4/5 inches here...and probably more to come. had to flippin' dig my car out of the car park after work. Had to cancel my p.trainer session tomorrow cause of the bad weather too Cause I'm local I didn't get to go home any earlier either...

it totally does matter :P I'm sure i'm not the only one in this mindset... but I think we've been trained (like lil puppy dogs ) to not create relatively meaningless, or threads with limited scope... (like for example - anime threads, when people are saving up the episodes and therefore have little to contribute) so it's only natural that the habit remains. I don't like creating a thread in case its pure ghey/nobody posts and gets locked/merged or whatever. Set clarity would be good on what's lockable and what's not (from a mod/admin p.o.v)

Yeah I'm the same with the crushing bladder!!! It feels like you need to go yet you can't!! Worst thing ever. Also not so good on the diet front.... looking forward to January when I'll be back on the healthy eating wagon! Worst thing to happen to me today was all work related (the bastards). Basically the urgent care place we building-share with do this yearly christmas thing that everyone joins in with. We all contribute some kind of food/table settings/etc thing to the meal, and we get a 2 hour lunch to enjoy, and swap secret santa presents. So we'd all contributed management promised cover for us... ya de da. Then the boss couldn't be arsed, turned up at half 1 (it started at 12) and wouldn't even let us all go together even at that point. The only people that got to go for the full 2 hours was... me and the new hot sexy guy (yum)! Like hell was I going to volunteer my services for cover when management was supposed to have this done!!! This is the kind of fucking shite we have to put up with... Even the higher management in the urgent care place was annoyed about it... she even made some snide comments about it being a shame that we can't get out when these kind of things only happen twice a year! (we do a summer bbq as well) Just mega hate. I don't hate the job, or working conditions, or the other staff (well not too much :P) its just how fucking shitty higher management are with their shit attitudes, targets, money saving crap and complete thoughtlessness... we had no freakin' electricity for a whole morning last week and they did shit all!!! Sitting taking calls and writing in the cold dark! And they wont give my fucking colleague (with severe disease in her wrists) a proper keyboard.... being completely patronising and absolutely disgusting... i knew exactly how she felt and did what I could (lent her mine when I had time off) as i understand wrist joint disease all too well. Just makes me fucking sick. Passing it off as if she's not in any pain with the rubbish standard keyboards... ANGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I've had the best Christmas ever and it's not even begun. (thanks to my little early present of my widdle kitteh )

I went to the local cattery today! I'm getting a little tabby, it's 10 weeks old. I don't think I could work in a place like that, my heart would break every day. There was a little kitten around the same age, which had really poorly eyes

i think the trick is getting them healed before you push and poke things around them. Should be fine if you give them time to heal.

We're spending less on each other now our "family unit" is all basically adults. We set a limit of 60/70 each long before any presents were bought so we all agreed. But then our family is...as a RAF family goes... pretty regimented. Organisation is the key to our success. I do think its a bit of a cheek for them to expect that sort of money spent on them... Christmas isn't supposed to be about money/gifts. Its about spending family time together for one day when you make the effort to not beat each other senseless....ne? as my day goes, worst thing - Going into town, to a shop (the only one in town may I add) that sells he-shi tan. For my sisters christmas present. They close at 1pm, and the woman had the lights off and ready to shut shop at 5 to 1!! Wasn't in the slightest bit interested in getting my money... Pft. Just the ignorance of it made me really cross. No apology or nothing.
