I can see your point but the traits the two games (Silent Hill 3 and the Siren remake) share are common throughout both games series. I was just perplexed as to why you said Silent Hill 3 in particular. I agree with your point though.

Weren't there Space Marines in Metroid Prime 3?... Actually no they were federation troopers. My mistake. I'm just getting tired of all the kiddy games Nintendo makes, I wish they'd make some new cool IPs about motha-fuckin space marines! Hell Yeah!

The power just cut out of my PS2 as I was about to finish off The Queen at the end of ICO. I am angry for two reasons: 1. I hadn't saved in a long time; the game only let you save when you were with Yorda... 2. I don't have any closure with the story (even though I know what happens I love watching the ending). Fuck!

Having to constantly hack vending machines and turrets lost its novelty quickly and became a chore, and there was no feasable way of forgoing it if you didn't want to waste your money and I rarely found auto-hacks but when I did I saved them for desperate situations. I found the resource management aspect of the game to be a drag. Ensuring you had enough health, eve and bullets to survive constantly disrupted the flow of play which annoyed me. The gunplay was nothing novel and bullets being so scarce in the game forced you to either: 1. Make your own through the DIY machines, which in-turn you would have to hack to save money. That was not fun. 2. Use plasmids instead. They were not that much fun to use either. Then when I eventually used up all my eve I was pretty much fucked. In the end my hatred of Bioshock boiled down to the core element of the game design which was to collect things - over and over; something I loathe in videogames. (fuck you Pokemon) In all fairness I didn't really immerse myself in Bioshock's narrative so nothing was driving me to progress through the game. The only reason I played as much as I did because I had some false hope that I would eventually find the amazing game that everyone had been raving about. -

No I was just bored silly by repetitive, monotonous gameplay which gathered all it's 'innovative' ideas from the superior System Shock 2. -
I'd be up for some COD4 if I actually had a 360.

Bioshock - the definition of overrated. As for the question at hand? I don't really care as long as I'm having fun. I may have been a sportier person if videogames didn't exist but does playing football make me a better person? Hell no. -

Even though I don't even have a PS3 the hype surrounding this game compelled me to play Metal Gear Solid 2 again on Hard. I think the awesomeness of this game can be summed up in this quote: "I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61!" - You're so crazy Colonel... Or should I say GW! I think I'll start playing The Twin Snakes at some point soon, then Snake Eater inevitably.

Urgh weapons? In F-Zero? Great... EDIT: 'F-Zero Z' sounds terrible as well. Couldn't they just call it 'F-Zero X' with some shitty subtitle instead? 'F-Zero X' is the most badass name ever.

I had way much more fun playing Super Metroid than A Link to the Past. McMad gives this list a thumbs up.
