Early Access is out now, full release about a year away. It seems to be getting rave reviews and sounds like the Red Hook team are onto another winner with the sequel.

I'm unlikely to play the AC DLC for more than a year so I'll spend £17 instead of £22 I guess. Keen to play some Lylat Wars too. I think I read that you get to keep all the island improvements and features from the DLC even if your sub expires anyway. Just not the actual home designer island gameplay.

Personally I'd rather see the return of Games World. Specifically Wednesday nights and Madam Pixel's Peep Parlour

This was easily in the top 3 favourites games I played last year, I had a brilliant time with it. Hope you enjoy it too. It's also probably a good thing you don't have much experience with the series, you can enjoy this one on its own merits rather than compare it to the Gamecube instalment like everyone seems to.

Rarely do I 100% a game and immediately want to jump back in and keep playing but this has definitely done that for me. From what I’ve read online it sounds like they really stuck the ending too which is hard to do these days.

I dunno, seems a bit fan-servicy to me. Anakin talking to Ben I could maybe appreciate, to show how conflicted he was or something like that but I don't think it was necessary. Anakin talking to Luke just wouldn't have fit at all imo. The Yoda + Luke scene was perfect though

Force ghost Anakin conversing with Ahsoka?? Fans would lose their mind! It's a shame this leaked, would have been an incredible moment if it happened with no prior knowledge. I wasn't a fan of Anakin in the prequels at all but a big chunk of that was down to the terrible script. Glad he gets to come back and right a few wrongs.

There's one new class for Early Access with more on the way apparently. It's a totally different gameplay loop outside of battles. They said they didn't want to just make DD but better, they wanted to make a brand new game.

Today's the 10 year anniversary of the very first Nintendo Direct! Leave it to Nintendo to change how an entire industry does things, whilst simultaneously setting fans on fire or having a company present stare thoughtfully at some fruit.

This is a real joy to play, it's just so fluid and fun to run around. The only thing is the swinging is pretty clunky, but otherwise The EMMI rooms are genuinely scary.

100%. They've got the pacing of Directs down perfectly these days. Their last main one was excellent throughout mixing big reveals with smaller headlines throughout.

Meh, it's £17 per year for N64 + Mega Drive games. I can't get too worked up about it. Yes you do need the base game.

WOW, from £18 to £35 for the NSO expansion, I was thinking maybe a tenner extra at most. Hmmm.... like @Dcubed says they better add more to it over time and give us more stuff like Tetris 99 etc. I suppose we're getting the £22 Animal Crossing DLC for 'free', for a start...
