Also crazy how amazing the quality is now. That Bulbasaur or whatever looks great
-
Hopefully, Bran will actually do something worthwhile in the remaining episodes. Likewise Jon.

It's a shame because some of that episode was fantastic. It just felt like two stuck together, a well written one and a not so well written one. I'm not massively keen on what they're doing to Dany either...
-
They have the most popular show on television, and they're sprinting to the finish line. I enjoyed the episode but it feels like such a rush job, and the writing is seriously questionable. What a waste.

Well I'm excited. The last few Sony shows did nothing for me, so their absense isn't a big deal. There's only so much Death Stranding or Last of Us 2 trailers I can watch without getting bored. Not expecting many big "surprises" from Nintendo, maybe one reveal but it'll be nice to see Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing. Plus more info on Link's Awakening. They started the trend of moving away from E3 and I think we'll see that continue here, at least in terms of surprise reveals. Ubisoft will have a great conference as usual, loads of variety as usual, something for everyone. I'll be surprised if we don't see Mario + Rabbids 2, so if that's a thing, then I'm excited to see it. Bethesda games don't do it for me, but their conferences are usually really enjoyable to watch. Hoping for some Starfield stuff but doubt we'll see anything. Microsoft have had some fantastic shows in recent years, so it'll be interesting if they go big on their new console or play the waiting game a little while longer. If nothing else, more Cyberpunk info is really exciting, very much looking forward to that.

Yes, yes they are. Hopefully you got the proper ending

It’s interesting hearing you all talk about how tough it was to narrow the N64 down to 5 games. In my opinion the N64 is one of Nintendo’s weakest consoles. Quality was high but the quantity just wasn’t there for me. I barely played more than half a dozen titles that stand out in my memory. -
I don't remember her not being super sneaky in the library. The only thing that gave her away was the drops of blood on the floor.
-
Running around the library really quietly, not making a sound was foreshadowing for later

We didn’t turn the brightness up but we did turn all the lights off. That helped set the mood. Didn’t have a problem with the low light. That was the point.

It's things like this that make me really hate the gaming community (in general). -

Oh yeah? I've not been on since my post. I'll be crying myself to sleep tonight for sure. ResetEra is absolutely pathetic. Mix immature crusading gamers with OTT SJWs and that's what you get. Their latest attack on Greg and Andrea is disgusting, especially the former who couldn't be a more honourable bloke these days. -
My overriding impression watching various trailers and reviews is that the game looks incredibly bland and generic, and coated in that muddy sheen that used to be a thing with most games last generation, so I'm not surprised by the above at all. These cookie cutter openworld games need to evolve like a couple of other titles have in recent years. I might find it hard to play any game like that after RDR2.

I enjoyed it a lot but I can understand people feeling a little let down. It’s the same with a lot of these big budget fantasy/sci-fi films that a bit more than average plot depth. People end up feeling let down after building up expectations in their head over years. But yeah beautifully put together.

My post wasn't "irrelevant", thanks very much, it's the president of NoA talking about how NCL prefer to staff up and hire freelance developers when making games rather than crunch. That's just as relevant as your link to that one occasion/one staff member. People work silly hours on occasion in almost every professional job, it's sad, but that's life. Some companies are better than others. The fact that employees often last a long time at Nintendo, far longer than the average, seems to show they handle overtime better than most.
-
I thought it was quite clear that it wasn't just NOA. I'll post this quote again Oh and the "Bioware magic" line refers to a game falling into place towards the end of development, not working long hours. Although pitchfork-clad crusading gamers angry at everything have probably twisted the meaning ten fold by now.
-
First of all, crunch happens everywhere, not just in video games. A lot of gamers (don't mean anyone here) seem to think it's a unique to this industry, it isn't, it's just a byproduct of tight deadlines and under staffing. As for Nintendo, some recent quotes ... and in a separate interview... We asked Nintendo, Microsoft and 12 other developers how they deal with crunch

Not the most original selections but... - Lylat Wars - Super Mario 64 - Mario Kart 64 - Ocarina of Time - Majora's Mask -
Love that music from SM3DW

They might just not have a focus this time around and promote Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing (both reconfirmed for 2019 this morning), Pokemon, Zelda and Mario Maker equally. Plus whatever surprises they have.
-
Neat!
-
After seems more likely. Like what they did with the 3DS XL, it was revealed a few weeks after E3 I think.
-
DOOOOOMED!!!!

Yeah I think 18 million too, or like 17.8, still a huge number. I think the missing 2 or will be thanks to Labo not taking off as much as they'd hoped.
