Incorrect, a component cable is only 3 plugs (green, blue and red), the other two colours (red and yellow) are simply right and left audio, nothing to do with component. Too correct you again, a component cable even if not run in progressive scan mode will still give you a far superior picture to AV or RF, slightly under RGB quality.

I work 5 days a week, normal work day - Get up at 5:20, get washed and changed, up the road to start work at 06:00. I get a half hour break at 08:30 and an hours lunch at 12:00. Work finishes at 15:00 (unless I am doing overtime). Then I collapse my way down the road and do what I want till I go to sleep, ready for the next day.

Isn't it Ironic? From what you are saying, I don't think its panel related. It sounds to me like there might be a problem with your RGB socket, hence the losing of the signal. Try the games that are having problems in another connection, such as AV, RF, component etc.

Talking about bundles, Konami have just announced a Pro Evo 6 bundle for release next Friday. It's basically a premium system with a copy of Pro Evo 6.
