Spent the past hour watching old WWF videos on Youtube, just admiring how awesome it was back in the day of Stone Cold, The Rock and Triple H. I was obsessed back in those days. I used to count down the days till Raw was on and look forward to no school at the weekend to watch Smackdown and the monthly late night ritual to watch the Pay-Per-View. Good times

Loving Athlete's newest single, Superhuman Touch. Use to properly love them but this song has definitely rediscovered my fondness for them. Audio

I'm currently addicted to painkillers. Starting using them for toothache a couple of months back and I kind of forget to stop.

Sigh. NBC have cancelled Southland before it even aired any Season 2 episodes. http://www.tvguide.com/News/NBC-Cancels-Southland-1010662.aspx

They charge a flat fee, £25 or £30 If I remember correctly. I've been with Natwest since I could actually earn money and their bastards for the fee's. I've always got plenty in my account now so haven't had one of those charges for years, but back when I had an overdraft, it did occasionally happen.

Trauma Awesome, definitely one of my new shows to watch, it's like Third Watch but on Speed. The effects in the Pilot were nothing short of breath taking, quite easily motion picture standard. It wasn't all crash-bang-wallop either, it's a got a small core of main cast members, who are all quite unique. The challenge will be to maintain the intensity in on a TV show budget, but I have faith in Peter Berg - he is awesome.- 3920 replies

As much Scotland will always be my home, I don't really feel very Scottish. I've always felt like I want to lay my nest in another continent. For me it's always been the USA or Canada but recently I'm warming to the idea of Australia or New Zealand.

I'm not against it at all, I used to do it before for music but I got annoyed at continually downloading rank version of songs, so I started buying them off iTunes. 79p a song isn't much and you don't think about it at the time but it would probably be scary to add up how much i've giving to Apple over the years. I don't download films as there just not a big priority for me, I can wait for the DVD or until it reaches the cinemas over here. My one exception is tv shows. Sack waiting for them to be shown over here, Ninja gives me my fix when I need it.

I'll be quite Sad if Heikki leaves. I know he's not done the business but he just strikes me as a real honest bloke, who shuns the playboy lifestyle - quite rare for someone in the sport.

When you basically consider that the first 5 seasons were Dawsons Creek with a little bit of fast running and green rocks, it's not hard to see why the show has lasted. It's now the show it should have been much earlier on in it's run.- 3920 replies

The way I was always taught was to use 2nd gear if it's an open Junction and you can see what's coming from the right well before you reach the junction. If it's a closed Junction, I was taught to roll the car into 1st gear just as I reached it. I also notice a lot of learners nowadays seem to put the handbrake on everytime they're on a hill so the can get the relative gas and bite. Not something I used to or ever do, I always just brought the car right to the bite enough so it wouldn't roll back and then apply the gas, without ever putting on the handbrake on.

I have over 50 films on Blu Ray but I haven't Jumped to HD. I still happily buy DVD versions of films, it doesn't really make to much difference to me. Plus, my whole TV show collection is on DVD, so I don't go Blu Ray for them either.

I don't think it was the greatest episode, looks like much the same as the last season but with Zod instead of Doomsday. And yes, Erica Durance (Lois) was looking very tasty.- 3920 replies

Speaking of songs from my Youth, Been listening to this all day. It's weird to think how many years ago I first heard it, and how different my life was back then. Still love it just as much now, if not more. Audio

Friday Night Lights doesn't start again for another month yet, Boo! New show on NBC premiering on Monday, called Trauma. Looks like a promising mix of ER/Third Watch/Southland. Another one to add to the watch list. An interesting tidbit, it's produced by Peter Berg - Who created the TV version of Friday Night Lights.- 3920 replies

People need to get one thing straight. Time added on is only a minimum, a referee can add on time as he sees fit during the course of injury time. I believe the time added on was correct. The problem I have is that it always does seem to be Man Utd who generally benefit from it. If all other teams had a fair crack at it then fair enough but how often have we seen Man Utd scoring those late goals well into stoppage time. The referees need to make sure their applying the same law to everyone.
