    Went into the job centre for my fortnightly meeting. "So you haven't found a job?" "Nope" "But you've been looking right?" "Yeah" "Okay then well that's great, see you in a fortnight!" "Uh.. wha... okay... bye?" So for the rest of the day I applied for a christmas job at Boots... (lame yes but at least it's easy to get out of) and was confronted with the following online question "When you were growing up, did you ever lie to your parents?" - THE FUCK!? The rest of the day was spent on an Arrested Development binge as I rebought the second series after my ex ran off with my original copy (Yes, it's just that good).

    Not coincidence I think as there was also a skip during the part where he gets the guy to go get the money. Had something like 'Toulouse 8 - 30' on it.... 'to lose'... There are loads of these little hints in the show which makes me more sure that a 'punkd' show is coming where he points out all these little things.

    I think it was better than episode 1. Still not entirely sure that it's going to pan out okay but there's definite potential. Joseph Fiennes accent is winding me up though... STOP GROWLING!

    He's not done anything quite like these events though. He's always admitted in the past that he uses magic and other things to perform his stunts. In this series he's told bare faced lies all the way through. Like the lottery explanation for example. The climax to the show was him revealing how to do it and neither explanation were anywhere close to the truth. I have confidence that a show will come where he'll reveal it was all bollocks. It'll be to sorta teach people a lesson - not to blindly believe everything you see, to question things. Just look at that science of scams website and you have to see that that's the way he's always been going with these events.

    I look forward to the inevitable show where he reveals how he punked a large majority of the nation into believing he achieved anything with these events. Probably after this science of scams website thing has finished. He'll then reveal that he's been scamming all of us over the past four weeks and how he actually performed these effects. If a show like this doesn't come then Derren Brown has lost ALL credibility in my eyes.

    Ahhh thanks for posting about this. Been meaning to give this a go the last few years but have always either been too busy or just totally missed it. I'll aim to give it a go this year but probably won't... There's an idea I've been wanting to put to paper for a while now but not sure whether to try and write that or just to give myself a clean slate and splurge out 50,000 words pretty much without knowing where I'm going.

    GTA IV Probably because it was too overhyped at the time. I really wanted this to be a revolution rather than evolution of the formula. All Halo's Single Player Got into Halo pretty late, way after the release of the third game so went back to play the lot of them before I started 3 and.... they're alright y'know but really disappointing as they just weren't as amazing as I expected them to be. Spore Will Wright does a Molyneux and overhypes the game. Brags about features that didn't make release and there're glaring omissions where it's clear things were going to be in the initial release but were cut for expansions. Also the whole space phase of the game was a fiasco. Was surrounded and constantly hounded by hostile races before I could get a goot in the door. Super Paper Mario - Didn't quite work as a platform/RPG combo. Lacked the charm of the proper Paper Mario games and the platforming wasn't decent enough to stand on its own. Would have preferred it to be a solid platformer or a new Paper Mario RPG. Twilight Princess Obviously a good game but something was really lacking and after fighting through it I felt rather empty and dissatisfied afterward. There are obviously worse games that have been mentioned but generally those were panned in the reviews beforehand so I wasn't too disappointed when I got to play them. My choices were generally praised first which led to my extreme disappointment.

    Not an -amazing- day... I met a friend (let's call her Molly) of a girl I know (let's call her Amy) a couple weeks ago on a night out and we got on quite well. She's nice and everything and we've been texting since. Now she's not girlfriend material but she's a 'would' (and more importantly a 'could')... AND I don't think she's exactly looking for a 'boyfriend' either... Now there's a planned night out this Friday with my friend Amy and the circle I know her through. As it's far from me and all my friend's are lame or with partner I usually stay at this campsite nearby. Now Molly asked what I was doing this weekend and I tell her my plan and say she can stay at my tent after if she wants. Annnd she seems enthusiastic so whoop whoop yeah yeah, in all likelyhood I'm getting laid or at least getting some action... and it's been a LONG time so I'm eager... But I totally forget that Amy fell out with Molly (although she forgot to tell Molly that) on the night I met her annnd... Amy's STILL pissed at her. Long story cut short, some shit stirrer told Amy that Molly was flirting with her boyfriend. She wasn't, she was just being friendly and trying to make a good impression as she hadn't met him before. So Molly talks to Amy about tomorrow night and they have a massive fall out over this unresolved and never before voiced issue. So now Amy's pissed at me for inviting her without consulting her first and Molly's pissed and upset because she thinks that that whole circle is against her now so won't be coming and more importantly... I'm not getting laid. So not a great today and probably a worse tomorrow!

    I thought it was okay but not what it should have been. After going on about how the news mainly focuses on violent games he... mainly focused on violent games. Obviously because it gives old sour face a better chance to have a moan but more than a little contradictory. Dara was funny if not just because how he moaned about having to drive slowly in traffic in gta... As if that's the way it's meant to be played?! Consolevania chaps were good too.

    Bwhahaha... Awesome, this is gonna be good After completion.... It was good but not amazing. Not sure what I was expecting really but it reused most assets so it all looked very familiar. Thought they might have included some movies to link crash course with no mercy but nope. Obviously would be better in multiplayer which I can't play at the moment due to internet woes. Also...
