How's it compare to the Wild Area?

~24, 900 miles around the equator... Great effort! Did you carry the pedometer for Personal Trainer: Walking on DS by any chance? Maybe you still do. I remember getting out into the solar system on that but it was a cumulative effort from the group. Logging a solo walk around the world (and then some) is some going. Looks like they just wanted to get the game onto shelves. Shoddy.

Do they do combined Wii U + Switch numbers for other games? I own seven of these and several of the other honourable mentions you posted about. I'm such a sheep. Yes, absolutely. It's incredible. There really is no need to move on from Switch any time soon. It might be cool if they do a DLC expansion for Mario Kart... I'd certainly consider making it the first DLC I buy. I'm totally fine with them keeping MK9 on the back burner for as long as possible.

What a blast from the past! They gave Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Alpha plenty of coverage, you're not wrong. I think Seal was a fan of the Street Fighter film. In the video you linked, my young self thought it was such sage advice when they say a combo doesn't come off because of timing. Hearing it now, I want them to tell me if the button presses need to be strung together more tightly, or later, to get the desired timing!

Thanks for the heads up--I triggered a free week of NSO to give it a go but it wasn't long before I was availing of having access to the SNES app once again. What with DKC 3, LTTP, SMW, F-Zero and all at my fingertips it's impossible not to... Terraria seems all right like but I managed to get stuck in the dark almost immediately in the tutorial! Did a normal "journey" after that and explored a bit. Not really sure what you're meant to be at in it. No skin off my nose, buddy. Your time and money. I just gave you my opinion on how you could best use both. Hope you get some enjoyment out of Sword.

Out of the three posted, I got the Zelda and Starfox 64 ones from NMS. Probably the Mario Kart one too! I stuck them up with blutack and flipped them from time to time, however, there was one worthy of framing: a DKC 3 poster. Nice. I snagged a Starfox Armada poster (for some reason I was impressed that it came in a tube), Super Mario World fridge magnets and possibly some Mario playing cards or top trumps, although those could have been from a magazine. I would have had a decent number of stars to spend but I cannot remember what "big" item/s I redeemed them on. It seems only the tat lives on in the memory. LOL!

Exactly. Looks like that old rewards programme has fallen victim to the Zelda cycle. As far as I remember it was all complaints about the cost being so high (like you say), complaints about items not being in stock when people had finally amassed the currency, and complaints that the Japan items were not made available to the rest of the world.

That was a good shout, @Ashley as I've been intending to do another month of Disney+ to catch up with some of the latest Marvel and Star Wars stuff. I caught Encanto and while it was good/ very good, similar to Luca, I wouldn't put it up there as a classic. I appreciated the Doctor Who "bigger on the inside" line, and between this and Luca, we are really going to need to talk about Bruno. So what were the best animated films of 2021?

I thought Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions were doing okay nowadays with Crash, Spyro and Tony Hawk being back in vogue. Not sure what The Birdman is. I think Microsoft just needs to steer the ship and keep these studios ticking over. The irony I would say is that they are attempting to take ownership of some gaming icons that used to be associated with the PS1. It's the kind of thing people were breaking out in cold sweats over when Xbox first came on the scene. Other than that (and without looking deeply into it) it seems like they are mainly consolidating a lot of Xbox/ PC games under their umbrella. The stability will probably be a good thing. If Pandemonium! appears on the slate I just hope there will be a Switch version.

By hook or by crook! Classic. I skimmed the Activision and Blizzard output on Wikipedia and I think the only thing I have of theirs is GoldenEye on Wii...? So they're welcome to em! I'll drive them over to Xbox HQ myself! Unless... is Geometry Wars just smoke and mirror and this how they get N64 GoldenEye on Xbox?!? Totally. I'm sure they'll still let Crash Bandicoot and T Hawk and stuff out and about too.
