  1. I was thinking the exact same (albeit less humorously). You'd know if you get the wee shiver, it's different to the relief as it's a physical shiver that goes down your whole body.
  2. Are you sure she's not doing it as a joke? That sounds like the sort of joke you make "who are you chatting with? you side chick?". Has he ever given her reason to suspect he might cheat?
  3. I think it depends in the meaning of offended. Somewhat related to FliNks point, I get "offended" if I hear a racist joke. It doesn't offend me personally as I'm white but it does annoy/anger/irritate me. I don't see it as getting offended on somebody else's behalf, I just think those sort of viewpoints are disgusting and it bothers me that people like that exist.
  4. Isn't that stuff limited to America though? They tend to take everything to the extreme. I've not heard of that sort of stuff in the UK or elsewhere. Also I think a lot of it is overblown by the media. One professor says one thing to one student, the media picks up on it and suddenly it's an endemic of lefty-liberal brainwashing colleges.
  5. Yeah I think they'd broken up at the time and then got back together. Still though, that means she got engaged 7 months after we dated. Feels weird.
  6. On my way to work today I saw a girl I dated for a few weeks last year, so I decided to stalk her online and see what she was up to. I found her blog and saw a post from January 2017 about how she got engaged in December 2016. The post said "my boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me"...
  7. Did I officially drop out? I'm moving house on the 12th and have a stag do on the 19th.
  8. Dead baby jokes are not funny. There's no nuance of humour to them at all. They're not even jokes, the only point of them is to be offensive for the sake of it. They don't offend me because they're dark and twisted, they offend me because they're the lowest form of comedy (well 2nd lowest after the big bang theory). I've never really understood people's issues with political correctness. Most stories of "political correctness gone mad" are false and made up by the right wing press (similar with health and safety gone mad stories). "Teachers can't sing baa baa black sheep anymore" yes they can, no teacher in the history of nursery rhymes has ever been told that. "Kids have to wear safety goggles to play conkers" nope, that was a joke by a headteachers that the papers bastardised. Political correctness is basically "don't be a cunt". As for people getting more offended, that's nonsense. When Little Britain first aired it was seen as so groundbreaking. Now you barely bat an eyelid. Swearing was rarely on TV. 30 years ago people used to get offended by the existence of gay people. And 20 years before that an interracial kiss on TV sparked dozens of complaints. Even now older people are more likely to complain to ofcom. Other people being offended doesn't give their view more right, and if you genuinely think you were doing nothing offensive then you shouldn't modify your behaviour, but is it really such a big deal to not do something that might upset you. What harm is it to you?
  9. I'm usually great at puns, but I don't know enough about pokemon to do your birthday thread justice. So I'll just raichu a basic birthday message. Happy birthday, Celebii.
  10. I went to post in the want face thread, when I clicked into the quick reply box it pasted my previous post in there. I went to delete it but when I got to the Shorty mention it just kept lasting his name over and over. Not sure if this was an issue with my phone or the boards but was really weird.
  11. I kickstartered the peachy printer but the guy ran away with everyone's money.
  12. Aren't you still at uni? Man, things have change so much sometimes I feel like I'm not even on Cube-Europe anymore.
  13. @Shorty didn't you used to have an rs125? When did you become a big boy?
  14. Are your gloves styled after the Nintendo Switch?
  15. If there's unread posts then you can just click the symbol to the left of the name.
  16. Happy birthday, Josh. I was going to get you a present but based in the love thread you've already had a better present than I could give you.
  17. Happy birthday Sydney Cricket Ground!
  18. Did you ever find out what the engine was from?
  19. The three buttons on the right of the top banner don't work for me. (Chrome on android).
  20. You fool it's clearly Kill The NET! He's against public transport.
  21. Made £170 profit on this election (could still be another £40 if there's a Lab/Lib/SNP coalition but unlikely). Not a bad result.
  22. Lab/LD/SNP coalition - £2 at 22/1 Labour over 218.5 seats - £2 at 7.8/1 No overall majority - £10 at 19.5/1 Labour to win most seats - £10 at 28/1 Last one isn't overly likely. A few others which aren't looking to win. Wish I'd bet more on the first two bets.
  23. I stand to win a couple hundred quid if the exit polls are true.
  24. Yeah UKIP actually had a mixture of Tory and Labour supporters. More so now they've tried to rebrand themselves as the party that supports working British people.
