  1. Ah I didn't know they'd already been there a few weeks but I guess that makes sense! But yeah, still over the top. That's probably my biggest gripe about the series in general, though I know it's a reality TV staple, but over the top reactions aren't great TV lol. Everybody SCREAMING whenever there's an alert, the classic "omg what on earth could this alert be about?!" After every eviction, the hiding in cupboards and panicked tidying when the evictee is on their way to meet someone. I wasn't that into Sam but yeah she was definitely a deserving winner and I'm glad it was her and not the shampoo papi
  2. You all caught up? I'm about to head into the final episode but before I do, here's what I thought of the last batch: I was a bit shocked that Tom went but he seemed to be losing it the last few days, getting paranoid about every one and everything, so it's probably for the best. The show has lost steam in this last batch for me. I couldn't help but roll my eyes when they got videos from home and all the dramatic music and water works starter - you've been there like 2 weeks! Anyway, last ep here I come.
  3. Haha omg I thought that too! He has a row of what looks like 15 or more! Given the nature of the show, he clearly just wanted to flex his collection lol. Will let you know when I've finished this batch, I'm definitely hooked with the fake hacker convo so am getting through them a lot quicker this week haha
  4. Bruh, these spoilers were up to the end of Episode 8 I read it at the end of Episode 6 and was so confused haha. But no biggie, I could have guessed Shooby would be next to go. As a person I think he's pretty sweet but his catfish character Sasha (SARSHAH) was pretty lame and one dimensional. Though for whatever reason it did make me laugh when he just went crazy and told them all to "never fucking call me timid again". That was pretty lame on Marvin's part, and I had liked him up to now. At the same time though, Raven seems SO upset about it. Like, I get it, he did call you his "queen", but he's a single guy that you've known for what, two weeks tops, and had surface level conversations with. It's not the biggest heartbreak in the world. I can see her being pissed off but it feels like she's acting a bit too heartbroken, for all she knows he could have been a catfish playing with her anyway. And yeah, GG Marvin on Hydrogen lol. Some of the tasks are pretty fun, like the anonymous savage questions, but the quiz was so slow paced and mind numbing. As for Oliver I don't think he's that famous but the entertainment world is so disjointed these days he could have like a million fans through instagram or whatever and still be totally unknown to the rest of the world. I think he's famous in the same way that people on I'm A Celebrity are famous lol. Who are you hoping is going to win? If I'm honest I'm not really rooting for any of them right now, apart from the catfish duo playing Jennifer, it would be a great turn of events for her to win and she's the only one that doesn't seem totally self obsessed when controlled by her two puppet masters. Also WHAT is the deal with Circle parties?! I find it a bit sad to watch when they get dressed up and dance around the rooms by themselves lol. At least Raven had her bbf to chill with. I'll be watching the next load that has been dumped over the next few days! kiss kiss, send. heart emoji. #CircleChatChumz
  5. @Beast Hey hun. Thought I'd start a new private chat. You ok bbe? Aint seen u messagin in the circle chat for a while. hug emoji, hug emoji, kiss.
  6. WHAT. IS. GOIN'. ON. IN. THIS. CRIBBBBBBBB. Howdy yall!!! OMG! How is everyone settling in?! #NervousAF Spoilers up to EP 3 ahead! So I was a bit iffy on the series to start with but that's because I'd forgotten how over the top and annoying people are in their intro videos. After seeing all the intro videos I wasn't really sure if I liked any of them but I'm now 2.5 episodes in and my opinions on most people have changed. Brett, the blonde pretty boy, he was hard to read. He seemed like a typical jock in his vid but then as episode 1 progressed he seemed to be quite likeable and just a chilled out dude. But then of course the "twist" happened and he got kicked out. I have to admit, as lame or jerk-like as it was, his leaving message where he told them all to kick rocks was hilarious. I forget her name but the girl that was voted out alongside him, she was ok but a bit too loud for me, like loud for the sake of being loud. Alas, they are still with us. It's weird but both were pretty meh characters by themselves but so far they seem to bounce off each other pretty well and I like them as a duo. Whether it's much of a surprise that they secretly came back as a new character though is to be seen. I mean, if the others have never seen the show before then sure, but anyone that's watched more than 2 minutes of any circle could guess that the first two to be eliminated would come back as a secret new player lol. On paper, Brian Clark, the catfish pretending to be his daughter, I'd usually be a fan of. Y'know, the whole wholesome dad vibe. But as it is I just find him kinda boring and a bit annoying, easily my least favourite of the group. Chaz is one of my favourites right now, chilled out gay guy with some interesting things to say. He's certainly a world away from his cringe ass "shampoo papi" VT. Marvin the Nigerian stud muffin is my kinda guy. Young, dumn and full of cum. This boi gotta win for me, for shallow reasons and because he's hilarious. Raven, a deaf contestant, is interesting. For starters, she always has great hair. What I find interesting is that her roommate is there solely to bring a voice to her messages and her sign language partner. I'm not sure if I missed it or if they didn't explain their relationship, but it wasn't clear at the start how they knew each other. 2 episodes in though and it's obvious they're good friends and have been for a while. I wonder if her friend will ever start influencing her decisions, or if he's allowed to due to show rules? And I wonder how he feels not having a say in the competition itself? That's all I have to say so far, if I missed anyone I guess it's because they're not that interesting lol. I have been off reality tv for a while so it took me about an episode to get used to being TOTALLY BODACIOUS ALL THE TIME, MY DUDES! But it's fun to be back! I will try to finish the 4 current episodes tonight, but I had to get my thoughts down before they all turned to mush as the show seems to be moving pretty fast. Like, they already added a new British guy, a comedian, he seems fine. But yeah, thought I'd get in before any crazy games take place. What's your thoughts so far CIRCLE FAM? #N-EuropeNobHeads #NintendoNinjas #SuperRealityForumBros Kiss Kiss Pink Devil Emoji Send
  7. Oh god, I didn't realise it was the US show! I'm not usually a fan but I will give it a go for the sake of N-Europe!! Also, the official Big Brother Tiktok account just posted a video saying it's coming this year to ITV!
  8. I am so hyped for this, when does it officially come out? ALERT! Series star Vithun is gonna be watching!
  9. Still haven't got the game, got a switch sports towel with my platinum points though lol.
  10. Im not sure on the DK redesign, it's ok and probably has broader general appeal but is disappointing for me. With the DKC trilogy being some of my favourite games on a Nintendo system, it has been exhausting all these years having different developers shun so many aspects of the OG trilogy (Kremlins, animal buddies, extended Kong family) and now the design of DK himself. But whatever, the trailer was great, and it's awesome to see the wider Mario universe acknowledged, such as Mario Kart. Chris Pratt seems better too, his normal talking voice is still meh, but I thought he nailed some parts, especially the "yahoo!" Also nice to see some of the aforementioned wider Kong family, even if they do only end up being background cameos!
  11. I'm kind of enjoying this in short bursts but the technical aspects really bog it down, and I'm not usually one to care about that kind of thing. I almost wish I had played this first, before Legends Arceus, because that game just does everything so much better. Catching Pokémon is such a slog now, of course in PLA I would fight some, but it was just so great also being able to sneak around and throw a Pokéball at them, or lure them closer with some berries before going in for the kill. I can understand them getting rid of the no-battle insta-catch, to make it more like a traditional Pokémon, but why take away the manual aiming of the ball? I absolutely loved how fluid it felt with motion controls. As well as that, sending your own Pokémon out to autobattle is a chore as you have to go into the menu and manually select the top Pokémon in your team that you wish to send out - the menus were just SO much faster and more intuitive in PLA. I would have assumed PLA was the basis for this, and it got built upon into a full Pokémon game, but it doesn't seem that way at all. Also, WHAT is with the sluggish-ness? Starting battles and the battles themselves have second long delays before each action, which again wasn't present in PLA. WTH‽ Like I said, I would be enjoying this game a hell of a lot more had I not got used to and loved the great QOL improvements found in PLA. On the plus side, I haven't found any actual glitches, just plenty of graphical ones - That camera sure does love panning under the floor. The FPS decisions are just insane to me too, I understand the logic of lowering the FPS of objects/people far away, but why include it in a cutscene that's near the very start of the game (the classroom!) - Either pre-render the cutscene on a machine with more power (ala the mega water in Paper Mario) or just have less students in the class. The windmill is a pet peeve as well, I was stood on a hill and the windmill in the distance must have been 1 frame a second or less. At that point just have the windmill stand still, I could at least tell myself it's not windy over there right now lol. The graphics are so inconsistent too, the Pokémon and humans actually look pretty great, I love the textures on the 'mon, and the hair of the humans is incredible, but then so often you'll come across a literal N64 quality texture on someones shirt pocket, or flag, or wall - the consistency just is not there. I am really not too fussed on graphics usually, the Switch is my main console of choice, but this game consistently breaks my immersion with things like the extreme FPS dip of distant (or even very close lol) objects and the constant clipping into the world. I want to and do enjoy this game but I really hope they bring out a patch else it's going to forever be tarnished by these technical issues for me. If Game Freak aren't capable of an open world they shouldn't just go ahead with it regardless, they should scale it back and break the world up into sections ala Arceus. Also the 10 million sales, do you think that will inspire them to patch or make them more complacent. On the one hand they've sold millions with this buggy mess, on the other they have the largest audience ever to witness what a state the game is in.
  12. This looks fantastic! Thanks for the heads up. I love that we are in a time of PS1/N64 era indie games. I loved the Toree games too which seem to be similar.
  13. Painful news as a day one Persona 5 purchaser, I thought it would hold a lot longer that said, it was a bit high at £54.99 so makes sense they'd do a black Friday deal. I've been holding off on Chrono Cross for ages so I was hoping for that to drop too!
  14. When I finally get a new console I will definitely play it. I loved the first few hours I played via GamePass but the frame rate and load times are excruciating on my OG Xbox One S!
  15. Glad you're enjoying it! I'm still early in the game, just coming to the end of the first palace, but have liked what I have played so far! (About 10 hours) I agree that there is a lot to take in but thankfully it shares a lot of DNA with Tokyo Mirage Sessions which I played to death, so I've managed to get to grips with it all. I think I would have definitely been a bit overwhelmed if this was my first Atlus title though lol
  16. Port Blue is hilarious as the CPU so often go face planting into the walls. Also I only just noticed when seeing your screenshot, but the faces of the characters are surprisingly detailed textures, I mean they still don't look great lol, but compared to other titles using similar designs such as Goldeneye, these look really clear. You can really see the despair on her face, hidden behind her fake smile:
  17. Absolutely! NSO was my first experience and I fell so in love, I haven't spent that much time perfecting courses since Daytona USA. And grappling with the waves is so much fun! Even with absolutely no nostalgia for it, I would easily put it as one of the best games I've played all year. I almost keep forgetting it is an actual 64 title and not a 64 inspired indie classic, as the waves seem far beyond what the N64 should handle (though granted it takes some getting used to that FPS lol) And it has a special place in my heart for keeping me occupied when I had to go to A&E straight from work. My phone died not long into being there on account of it having been on all day, and I would end up waiting 9 hours to be seen. My Switch was in my work bag thankfully and Waverace kept me occupied at my more panicked moments wondering if I would ever escape the waiting room lol.
  18. I've played Pilotwings Resort to death and love it but had never played the 64 one and it is insane how much of a precursor it is to Wuhu. All of the cute little buildings and the unique sound effects you hear in certain places. The whole game feels like a sneak preview of the cute and simplistic 'Wii' style of Fit, Sports etc.
  19. Nah items weren't a thing but the secondary weapon and the upgrade choices kind of acted as items in my mind.
  20. Beep-o's little bloops and bleeps in the first game were cute enough, I've heard complaints everywhere about the voice over in this game though, so will be pretty interested to hear it I was planning on picking this up but everything released at the same time lol, and I decided on Persona 5, and will likely get Pokémon at launch, but I definitely will check this out eventually. The most worrying thing for me was the change in movement as I really liked having to plan my routes, so it's reassuring to hear that you're liking it Ashley, even if it is different. The graphics do look worse to me but if it means bigger scope then I guess that's fine. And as much as I LOVE the graphics of the first, it did often look pretty blurry, I guess the insane polygon counts hindered the resolution or draw distance?
  21. https://www.n-europe.com/news/new-nintendo64-switch-profile-icons-available-now/ Yeah baby, gimme them icons
  22. I love the look of this, if the price is right I'll definitely reel this one in
  23. God I love N64-era renders, I am stupidly excited for those new icons lol. Pilotwings was fine but didn't get me hooked like WaveRace did. Bring on the Mario Parties! Also, posted this on the front page today, it seems Glover will never be gracing NSO as it's getting a proper digital release: https://www.n-europe.com/news/glover-comes-to-nintendo-switch/
