Updated with trailer and info!

I didn't have that much information to go on but here we are @Glen-i @Dcubed https://www.n-europe.com/news/vampire-survivors-v1.9.102-out-now/

Amiibo tourney starts tomorrow! https://www.n-europe.com/news/super-smash-bros-ultimate-amiibo-tourney-starts-march-1st/

Yeah that trailer is a bit meh. But the biggest visual issue of Scarlet and Violet was the horrible textures so it's nice to see they've fixed that by simply not having any textures at all.

https://www.n-europe.com/news/pokemon-presents-roundup/ Roundup, which is a cut-down version of the press release without the jargon and garbage. Weirdly the press release doesn't mention the Pokémon Sleep stuff. I also mentioned how the series making its Netflix debut is already out here in the UK.

Slipped in a couple of smaller indie game announcements on the front page [from whatever IGN Fan Fest is? lol] before Pokémon Presents! I won't be home later today, but should hopefully have a roundup [of Pokémon Presents] tonight or tomorrow!

I used to like going to the cinema alone pre-pandemic but when the pandemic happened and I couldn't go to the cinema for about a year I lost the confidence, though I still go with a friend every few weeks now, but haven't plucked up the courage to start going alone again. I used to like going places alone, but also loved that the hotel room was a judgement free place and somewhere I could get absolutely BLASTED and not have to worry about hiding my empty bottles and cans. So as much as I kinda want to, I haven't stopped over anywhere alone in nearly a year as to not get the urge to break my sobriety.

The direct took some of my momentum this week, I prefer the smaller random stuff! Better brace myself for Pokémon day eh?

That's crazy, I heard of the physical with the download code but didn't know there was already a semi complete one! I know they did similar with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, only having part 1 of the dlc built in. Talk about jumping the gun

What a busy week, holy moly!

Lol I half agree, I actually loved the silver boxes of Players Choice at the time, but silver was cool to teens in the early 00's right? My silver game on my silver CRT DVD combi using my silver GameCube controller, it's the future! As for the Wii, that range did and still does look horrific. The Switch is still doing well so maybe they won't happen this generation. I know with the GameCube they were fighting to stay ahead of Xbox and with the Wii they lost a lot of momentum after the first two years, as well as having software droughts, none of that applies to the Switch right now. @Cube I didn't consider that but with the amount of DLC for Smash and Mario Kart that's definitely an interesting option. I'm not sure they'd do Mario Kart right away as they seem to be getting a lot out of the Booster Course Pass by having it as an extra for NSO Expansion, as well as a few physical download code bundles, but I could definitely see a Smash Bros Ultimate Ultimate working, especially now all the DLC and amiibo are officially finished.

Does anyone know if there are any out of print first party Switch games? Arms is one that I think might take a little bit of looking to get new, certainly beyond the usual Amazon and Argos sites. I'm just wondering if games like that could end up in a Player's Choice if the Switch 2 isn't gonna be around in the next year or so
-
Yeah it's tragic how large some of the third party games are now! Shows how far into the Switch life we are when a single game is the entire storage of an OG system lol

Oops, I hadn't even heard of the splatoon one till now! A bit late now but I will try to sneak it in later today!

I rarely succumb to rumours these days, but given they've been playing ball with Nintendo recently with Banjo, and the heavily rumoured Nintendo Direct was due today, I did think maybe there would be some form of Rare announcement. I think Sheikah may be onto something, in that maybe they did intend to make a bigger splash, but have scaled back the announcements amid the backlash. If that's not the case then they really are pretty inept to make such a fuss over what essentially should be a tweet announcing that 4 titles are coming to other platforms.

This meeting absolutely could have been an email.

So much business jargon, this takes me back to the halcyon days of E3 presentations, before they were so showbiz, like the glory days of Reggie whipping out graphs and sales numbers mid presentation.
