Yeah I know, which makes it more frustrating for me. It made sense to appear on the 3DS now, but of all the games they could have released, surely they could have thought to release the Wii U version a year or two into its life and given us something else instead. I don't know, you wait all day for a bus...

I'm just curious after downloading this, is it easy to get hold of the seasons? I tried to get some of the seasons on DVD a few years back and it was such an effort, I think in the end I would have had to order from America and hope that I had a region free DVD player. I think if they created a few box-sets they'd sell really well. Hopefully we'll see them on Netflix soon or something, because other than this app, the only easy way is by streaming off dodgy websites.

I find it funny that their advertising basically says "oh no, another game featuring the most famous video-game character of all time" especially considering their desire to bring their own half-arsed versions as of late (LBP Karting and PlayStation All-Stars) but that's another matter :p Personally, I think it's fine as they're all quite different and always very high quality titles. The one Mario series that I despise though is New Super Mario Bros. and I really hope they calm down with that one for a while. Why? Because of the things I just stated, every Mario game apart from these are high quality and different. The music, the same god-damn themed worlds and even the graphics are always the same old shit. Lazy beyond belief. It's also no doubt what they're referring to, and as some of you have said, after the situation with 2 and U, it's no wonder some people are taking the piss. NSMB is a disgrace.

Watching Season 2 again is amazing, so nostalgic.

I didn't get why people were so impressed by this, other than a couple of levels (that one water level with the octopus was pretty good) I thought it was bland with a terrible difficulty curve. It also felt like fans of the old series were ignored with the exclusion of pretty much every character (but I'm sick of having this same argument so I'll accept the bullshit 'outdated 90s characters' thing) This made sense when I assumed it was a straight port, but the fact they're building it from the ground up is ridiculous, they should have made a sequel or remade a game that isn't two years old. I hope it tanks but it won't because people seem to prefer all these bloody 2D platformers. Just take the NSMB series, it makes me sick to think how much more copies they sold compared to the galaxy games.

Me and my friend Linzi are gonna go out drinking, we'd planned it a few weeks ahead and only realised it fell on Valentines a few days ago, I hope this doesn't ruin our plans! Will everywhere be generally empty dya reckon? Or full of desperate singles? And I thought I got a valentines day card in the post today but it ended up being a wedding invitation :p

I got the original game on 360, it wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, I guess I just got over excited from all the hype. Looks damn beautiful though, especially Legends. Will pick it up on U or 360 when it hits the £15ish mark

That's exactly how I feel, but in my case I'll be playing Boom Street or dragging my way through Eternal Sonata And oh no, this could be problematic. Perhaps we could get Ashley on that cheap ITV show, Dinner Date. I'll warn you pal, when he's tasted some of my lasagne there will be no turning back.

Yeah, I hadn't bothered with Miiverse that much in a while but it was quite amusing reading through the U Play community I noticed it even made the Wii U home page, though the little speech bubbles weren't popping up. Perhaps Ubi stopped it?

My Kong Mode looks really fun. Gonna get it seeing as it's only 1.50, shall be good for the usual multiplayer Thursdays at my friends house!

The one near me is closing, too. The CEX by us is tiny, I don't think it even sells CD's, but That's Entertainment opened recently, so there's still somewhere! (I'm in love with that shop anyway, so many corny CD's for just 99p) I went in the HMV closing down sale, some of the stuff on sale was still more expensive than in most shops.

I'm glad you're okay, I can't stand walking on those metal stairs, I always feel like I'm going to slip even when it's not icy. The stairs at work are annoying as hell, they're just so tiny. So I usually take two at a time, but I've started to only do it when no one else is nearby, as it makes me look like a frog. This one time, I had some new socks on, slipped right down my stairs at home. Fell flat on my arse and just slid all the way down. I'd just done my hair as well, so I felt like this lady:

Got this for a tenner from CEX the other day. I know nothing about it and haven't seen any trailers but am glad I took the plunge, am a few hours in and love it so far. And oh man, the graphics are amazing. The second group (the two younger guys) remind me of Pit from KI Uprising and Butters from South Park
