Last film I watched was Final Destination 3. Absolute bollocks. Only watched it cos my mates forced me to. Utter shit it was....

completed ICO yesterday, crap game that I just didn't get on with, hence the reason why I returned it and got black instead. Overall, 5/10. TBH tho I can't really rate it as it was on a totally different "wavelength" compared to mine. I know alot of people who love it, and I respect that, but I totally did not get on with it. Found it so bloody boring... Currently playin black now and am already on the 5th or 6th level. I have a feeling I'll be completing it very soon, maybe by the end of tommorrow. But a good game nevertheless.

Even though I'd rather be cold than hot, I still prefer Summer for many reasons. The big reason is the massive break after exams. Right now I'm in the middle of my AS course, and I'm sick to death of exams as well as school as a whole. I really can't wait for the summer, where I'll be in my shorts and shirt and chilling out in the garden (hopefully with a new DS Lite by then!!). I'll be out with friends, out with my family and generally enjoying the break. Hopefully by then, I would also have found a job, so I could save up a bucket load to get all the games, DVD's and everything else I want.

Bloody hell, if thats true, I'm not surprised BBC had to cancel. £250,000 per episode??? No sodding way. Edgar to die in season 5......I hope

I fuckin hate ICO now, its really pissing me off. I'm at the waterfall stage and I keep getting confused cos the whole place is so goddamn frickin huge!!! I just get so frustrated and I'm wondering where the action is....its just sooo fuckin boring.....is there not any sort of bosses or challenges that makes this game any more exciting?? Holding hands with that stupid bitch yorda just slows me down like hell, and its so LONG just to wait for her to climb ladders etc. She really does my head in. Actually the whole game is doing my head in. I regret spending £20 on this piece of crap game. I'm only 4 hours in and I'm near the end (as I saw how much is left to do in Gamefaqs, but I aint been using it for the puzzles or throughout the game) I picked this game up cos so MANY bloody people were singing its praises and saying how you have to play this amazing game. But I don't get why people find this game to be awesome....because for me....it wasn't. Its dull, boring and tiresome. I can't even call this a game. Its more art than game.

From my ICO experience and the demo of SOTC, I don't think I'll be getting Shadow of the Colossus anytime soon. As I said in my post previously, its just not my cup of tea..

Yeh ebay is a goodplace to start looking for cheap games. In my area, GC games are quite rare and shops that sell them off second hand often bump up the price. For example, when I saw Tales of Symphonia pre owned in GAME for £25 I couldn't believe it. But I was stupid enough to actually buy it as that was the first time I actually saw the game in a shop.

Last week, completed Metal Gear Solid 3 again for the second time. 8/10. Not as good as MGS2, but a superb game nonetheless. I absolutley love the MGS series, with the only flaws being the slow pace of the game, the camera(not REALLY much of a problem) and the long cut scenes. Other than that, brilliant game. Good story, some cool characters and has a good length. I recommend all the MGS titles on PS2, all essential in my eyes.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho...very good book...nice and short....and very deep. Makes you think....... : peace:

I've recently been playing ICO since I've got it on Friday. First impressions were pretty poor (as I stated in my above post) and I was thinking I should have got Black instead. However, around 2 hours in, ICO is getting better. I seem to be enjoying it much more. But I don't think I'll love it as much as others claim to. I just don't think its my type of game, but I'm very determined to finish it. Maybe as I get more immersed in the game, it will stand out as a classic.... Its just that it seems very "samey". I mean, the puzzles are clever and all, but the constant action of solving puzzle and moving on seems a tad boring. The gaming environment is breath taking, the sounds are awesome but its the gameplay I'm having troubles with. The interaction between yorda and ico is nice but as I said, its just boring in a way. Anyway, thats just how I see ICO in my eyes. Don't go all mental on me for my rather negative views of the game....I am trying to enjoy it, (hence my determination to actually finish it) but I just don't think its my cup of tea..

haha, can' believe the koreans are lapping up the xbox 360. Good news for microsoft I guess, especially when compared to the dire figures of the Japanese launch.

Bloody hell, that looks awesome!! But I've always loved the spiderman films so I doubt i would complain. I could marry spider man....

Please don't buy Timesplitters 3 for £30, thats just a total rip off. Look around in shops that offer 2nd hand games and you can probably find a copy for less then £10, sometimes even new copies.

If TP does turn out to be a revolution title, I will go mad.

I just got this game today (45 minutes in), and I'm finding it really boring. I'm thinking I should have got black instead.... Meh, I dunno, maybe its just the mood that I'm in thats preventing me from enjoying ICO. Hopefully it'll prove more enjoyable tommorrow morning.....

I've seen reviews for this game and it looks really good. But I don't think I willl be picking this up, GT4 suits me fine. Instead I got ICO today!!

It was indeed a great game..I only wish that they had done a sequel, doesn't look likely now though.

Just saw the score they gave it in IGN.....8.7! not bad at all. I have made up my mind now, will be getting this after ICO. Looks awesome!

oh mate, just accept that there are no triple A titles comin out for the cube other than Zelda. Even though I'm a ninty fan, I've always recognized that they tend not to have the most hectic release dates. Come on, Chibo Robo a triple A title? Yeh right Triple A titles are more like Resi Evil 4, Metroid Prime, or Smash Brothers on the GC. I don't think Chibo robo belongs in the same class as them. Linking back to the main topic, PS2 has many triple A titles with recent releases such as ICO and Shadow of the Colossus adding to the long list that other forum members have posted already.

I actually don't know how old it is exactly. But its OLD. Thats all I know. I know you can check the serial number or whatever but my PS2 is at my mates house at the mo......I think it was in the 3000's area...I THINK..

Shit, I've got an older PS2!!! Oh well, looks like I'll have to cope with some slowdown then.
