You should stick it on live for the customers to watch. -

Kid Icarus Uprising Remastered? It was rumored to be a thing a while back. -
Shame it wasn't Messi. I'd pay good money to slap him around.

Professor X, Magneto, Beast, Nightcrawler, Mystique...all from the Fox X-Men universe. Is Doomsday actually Avengers vs X-Men? If so, this makes me a happy man.

Robocop is a must play, especially for those who grew up watching the movies. -

There has been a few people speculating that a Rhythm Paradise/Heaven game could show up. Seems like the right time if it was to happen. Personally, I think they should save Prime 4 for the Switch 2 show. Saying that, there could be an argument for showing it here and then showing how good it will look on the Switch 2 come next week. Yeah, DKR or DK64 on NSO would do me nicely -

I'm pretty excited for it. It's great to see Nintendo finally supporting a home console in the later stages of its life. They be coming for that PS2 record.... -
Yeah, I imagine a little reminder at the end of tomorrow's Direct will show up.
-
Are we expecting a tweet/announcement at 2pm for tomorrow's Direct? If real, I can't imagine them just dropping the thing out of nowhere.
-
Yeah, German ratings/box arts suck. Sorry. @drahkon. Looking forward to reading what you think of Emio, @Nicktendo. Hands down one of the best games I played last year.
-
@Nicktendo I blame you for this. I decided to fire up the NSO and start a new file. I've no idea if I will go through the whole game but after Nick was talking about it the other day, I very much had the desire to play it again. I've only played through the first dungeon so far. It's funny, the game released the same year as Metal Gear Solid and while that gets a lot of praise for pushing the medium forward with it's story telling and cutscenes, I feel Ocarina of Time doesn't get the credit it deserves. Sure, it doesn't have voice acting and long cutscenes but what it does with very little is very impressive. For instance, the way the game pans the camera when entering a dungeon... ...and when entering a boss chamber and seeing the boss for the first time... ...or when the killing blow has been delivered... ...all of these are very cinematic. Even some of the camera angles used give off this feeling as well, such as this shot... So, yeah, one dungeon down... ...and many more to go. I may just do a dungeon a day (to keep the Ganon away) while I settle down for the night. Proper cosy gaming. As a side note, I've reverted back to using my gaming Twitter account purely because BlueSky don't allow for a private option. I hate people following me (sorry @Happenstance, @Glen-i and @Cube) or anybody been able to just look at my post and comment on them.

Given the state of the eShop and the amount of tripe on there now, it's probably best to withhold development kits. If you think back to when the Switch first launched, the eShop was much more curated and the cream rose to the top but once the floodgates opened it just turned into a mess.

I never thought I could finish and platinum a Monster Hunter game in a week but here we are. It's too easy, hands out drops at a stupidly fast pace and has very little content.

Can't be licensing because they own the IP. Cost can't be a factor either because they are porting random PSP and PS2 games to PS+ and yet Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta, God of War and God of War 2 are still absent from the service.
-
Whole lot of nothing for me. I was holding off trading it in to see if anything decent would drop. A trip to CEX could be on the cards. The long awaited monster is rumoured to be Lagi.

Indeed. For me it was a superior version of the game thanks to being able to use standard controls. I imagine the same arguments for Star Fox Zero would pop up if it ever got ported. I think most of the ports have sold very well on the Switch. If there is a low cost but high return then I imagine Nintendo will continue to release them.

I loved that game. I found it to be very underrated. I've no idea how well it holds all these years later though.
-
I completely forgot about that. It's another game that has been rumoured for well over a year now. I would love to have Wind Waker on the Switch.
-
Standard Nintendo practice. Just drip feeding us stuff.

Looks like it's legit. Nate is usually good with Direct announcements.

In City Trial you are given a set amount of time to collect various power ups. After the time limit you will be put into a random event with the other players. If it's something like a race then any speed stats you acquire will benefit you or if it's an event that requires you to fly the farthest then the air/glide stat will come in handy. I'm not sure how much you'll get out of the single player. I love unlockables and achievements/trophies and so it's right up my street. If you aren't aiming to clear the checklist then there will be little for you to do.
-
Yup. Robotbot has been heavily rumoured for a few months now. There's still that FE remake game that has apparently been sat finished for over a year now as well.
-
Haha. My mate said the same thing this morning. It's such a tedious trophy.

That scene is just ridiculous at this point. Fights breaking out in stores, people stealing booster packs from shops, retailers having to limit what they are selling or even stop selling them altogether due to the hassle they are causing. This is all down to people just wanting to make a quick buck at the expense of kids or actual players being able to buy the product. There's a new Team Rocket set that just got announced and I have already made peace that I will never be able to find them anywhere once released. Honestly, it just feels like anything and everything is being targeted with the sole purpose of flipping for a profit. The world sucks.

It was a fantastic multiplayer experience. Both this and Smash Bros. Melee were the top games when having friends over for a gaming night and the achievement system meant that there was still plenty to do and unlock once my friends had gone home.
