I've got the same stick in Street Fighter IV form. Its pretty good, they do have issues though. I would recommend swapping the buttons and stick for Sanwa parts. Also, the movement of the stick is in a square formation, rather than circle. Good for charge characters but takes some getting used to for Shoto fighters.

Did you do the spec ops on your own? I did intend to join you again to finish them off, but got distracted.

Most are story related, and as dr4hkon said, there is only one trophy for completing the game on any difficulty. Challenge of the Gods is a bit tricky, which is basically a series of rooms where specific tasks are set, like kill all enemies without being hit etc.. Also, there is a glitched trophy in GoW2, which basically means I have to defeat certain bosses again. Possibly with a new save file. But generally a couple of easy Platinums.

Finished God of War 1 and 2 now, and just got the Platinum for the first one. Very impressed by the series so far, especially GoW2. I even read up on the story of Chains of Olympus and a mobile phone game that takes place chronologically between 1 and 2. Just got to get the Trophies for 2 now then I'm all set for GoW3 - which has now become my most eagerly awaited game of 2010. Oh, and level 14 ftw.

God of War II is incredible, it could easily have been a PS3 launch title. It really is hard to believe that it is a PS2 game (albeit with updated resolution/framerate). GOTY so far for me (although technically game of 2009, or if you want to be really pedantic, game of 2005)

I can't wait, I might just go on to GoW II now and come back to GoW for the trophies later. GoW III should be awesome, and I'm quite looking forward to where they take the story.

Just finished God of War, and what an outstanding game! The only fault is the cutscenes have not been touched from the PS2 version, which look pretty bad on my big HD telly. Only a minor fault though, and doesn't detract from the awesome game itself. Now to just mop up the remaining trophies and do a speed run for the Platinum, then on to God of War II.

I hope they don't. I much prefer the framerate to detail, maybe the next generation of consoles we can have both.
