Apparently, there's a patch ready for the Trophy thing according to one of the devs posting on gaf, its just going through the Sony QA thing or something.

I've just played through the entire campaign and didn't unlock a single Trophy

Those with the PS3 version, the patch has fucked the Trophy system up. The Trophies won't unlock with the patch installed. So basically, if you want to unlock Trophies, you have to sign out of PSN and delete the patch.......fuckin retarded. I don't know if this is affecting everyone, but after googling it, there are a lot of complaints about it.

I sold my Wii, but after seeing this game, and playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom at the Eurogamer Expo, I am starting to regret it. I think I'll pick up the black one after Christmas.

Even if the PS3 had BC, I would still get this rather than the originals. Updated 720p visuals running at 60fps with Anti-Aliasing? Yes please. Plus independant Trophy support for both games and a reduced RRP make this an excellent package.

Been there, done that. Whats the top prestige for MW2? I have heard its 15 with 75 ranks in between prestiges?

I'll admit, I am a massive CoD fanboy, so my opinion is probably biased. But I really think the Call of Duty multiplayer is the best you can get. CoD4 was/is fantastic, but not very accessable. Being dropped into a game full of uber-leets who have been playing the game constantly since day 1, and instantly getting pwned, is no fun. It seems Modern Warfare 2 has addressed that, with deathstreaks, which reward the not-so-leet player with an advantage should they be struggling. Buy it, then if you find it really is not for you, sell it on ebay/trade it in.

Arguably the biggest draw for this game is the Multiplayer. By all accounts the single player is very short again, brilliant, but short. So if you were to buy it just for the single player, you may feel a little short changed. It may be worth renting, or waiting for a used/discounted copy?

Just looked at my pre-order for this, and it comes out on the 17th, a week after MW2. This is shaping up to be the best Q4 evar.

Yeah Tuesday. You might want to get there early though. I remember going to ASDA for World at War at midnight, they sold out by half past.
