Yep, I do enjoy watching NiP, but they got fucking spanked by TSM yesterday. BO1 are unpredictable though and NiP are always late at peaking. Fnatic are looking really strong to win again... Kappa. Predictions for day 2:

Not true. I have a consistent 60fps at 1080p on a 970 with most on Ultra apart from Shadow Quality and Grass Density to High. Nvidia Hairworks off.

Decided to re-install this after I kinda got bored after around 20 hours. I hear there is loads of new content so looking forward to playing again.

Do it man. I love my self built PC. Although I am thinking about upgrading my R9 270X to a GTX 970. But might wait a month or so until Radeon launch the inevitable 300 series.

How is this game? It's been getting some good reviews and is everything SimCity was supposed to be apparently.

I love it. It's obviously at the bottom of the range in terms of HOTAS, but it gets the job done and really adds to the experience. Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen recognises it and maps the controls for you, although I did find I had to tweak them a little. Also, a friend bought his at the same time, and it didn't work out of the box. He had to reconnect a loose connection inside the stick which has probably voided his warranty. Just something to bear in mind about build quality. I had no such trouble mind.

Recommended specs Here It's not particularly demanding. My modest PC runs it at max settings at solid 60fps.

Got myself a HOTAS. Anybody considering one of these this is a cheap £35 Thrustmaster off Amazon, and it is awesome.

Love it. Got it on Steam and own all DLC apart from the latest one which I'll pick up soon. It's one of the most heavily updated games on Steam, perhaps even on Valve levels of support.

Man, haven't visited the Nintendo board for some time, but when did it become so toxic!? Loving my new Wii U, Mario Kart 8 and Smash are absolutely sublime. Quick question about region locking; I understand the software is region locked, but what about hardware? I'm going to Florida on Monday and want to pick up some extra controllers. Will they work?

The 970 is an amazing piece of kit for the price. Personally I'm waiting to see AMD's answer then might upgrade. Although I've only had my R9 270X for about 12 months. But the VRAM is a bottleneck with the latest titles demanding more and more of it. I suspect the unified RAM in the current gen consoles is playing a big part of that.
