    I hovered over the resub button on FFXIV ARR today. I quite like the idea of playing on PC, then switching over to the PS4 couch play using the same character. Although it means buying a second copy for the PS4 so going to do that.

    Depends what sort of games you like. There is a lot of games you could get for £40, several indies or a couple of AAA. You probably already have them but Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 are both extremely good games, and free. If you enjoy RPG's, Divinity: Original Sin and Dark Souls 2 are very good.

    That's because you're coming from console gaming. I used to be exactly the same. Now M/KB is my go to control method for games not called Dark Souls. I think Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has controller support on PC. (It obviously does on PS4)

    I've just bought a pair of these Steelseries 5HV3 for £24 new. I got them for the PC, but a nice surprise was that they have a fast disconnect plug and an adapter to 3.5mm jack. Which, of course, plugs nicely into the PS4 controller for full audio and voice chat. Amazing!

    Cool, I'm sure @Supergrunch would be up for it. Perhaps some co-op games against bots would be beneficial? Anybody else want to join us? Good opportunity for noobs to learn the game together.

    I tend to sub WoW for a month or two then get bored. I did enjoy questing to 90 in MoP, but couldn't be arsed grinding for the epic gear required for raiding. @flameboy, if you are remotely interested in MMO's, try Guild Wars 2. It's similar to WoW but no subscription. You buy the base game and just play. Also, if anybody wants a casual game of Hearthstone/Diablo III/Starcraft 2 add me on Battle.net - ShotoMat#2608

    Surprised there's been no discussion around this and The International 4. The winning team walked away with $5 million, and a total prize pool of well over $10 million, puts this recent tournament as the biggest prizes in any video game by an extremely wide margin. Anyway, just had a fun match with @Supergrunch. It's a shame there isn't more from N-E playing this, would be great to learn the game together with other noobs like me.

    No idea when I'm going to finish all of these games, on top of games I've not even got around to starting yet!     Can PS4 players play with PC players? (I seem to recall they can). Might renew my sub, had loads of fun when it first came out but didn't renew for some reason. Also, I know @Deathjam has recently bought it so we could perhaps get a guild going or something?

    So how is everyone finding the Steam Summer Sale? There isn't much I want that I haven't already bought. The stuff I do want aren't on sale such as the new Payday 2 DLC and Dark Souls II Season Pass. Although I have my eye on Borderlands 2 GOTY - played it to death on consoles, but I would like to replay it in 1080p and 60fps. I have pre-ordered Witcher 3 and Dead Rising 3, but obviously can't play until they are released!

    Runs better than expected on my rig. Intel i5 4670, Radeon R9 270X OC'd and 8G of RAM. Getting mostly 60fps on high settings with drops to around 45fps whilst driving. A little screen tearing without vsync. I could enable vsync and perhaps squeeze some more IQ from Ultra settings. Although 30fps looks dreadful on my monitor for some reason, but I understand how people would prefer the consistency.

    Yeah I've heard this critiscism before, with no real end-game content apart from PvP. Had a quick dabble last night in World Vs World, whilst confusing at first, I just followed the crowd/leader. I'm not used to this type of PvP and being part of a 50 man group storming a keep with battering rams etc was an eye opener! I really enjoyed it and looking forward to playing more.

    Guild Wars 2 Bought this a few days ago as I was looking for a new PC game. Really enjoying it with some interesting quests for an MMORPG. It looks superb and the artstyle is fantastic with a watercolour theme. It's also incredible that you get all this content without a monthly subscription! Also, it's currently On Sale at 50% off, but it ends today.
