I've just been browsing the Wii Shop Channel, and noticed this 'Connection Ambassador Promotion' thing. As I have just re-invested in a Wii, I would qualify as a new user. So anyone who wants 500 points for free let me know and we can arrange something.

There was a few of us playing Bomberman last night, t'was awesome. I used to play 1943 all the time, but now MW2 is my main FPS staple. I've added you btw.

You left early! We moved onto Uncharted 2, had a fantastic game of survival with Caris and Cooky. I'm always up for some MW2.

Having sold my Wii a few months ago, and being out of the loop for probably 12 months. I have just ordered a nice shiny black one, mainly for Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Apart from Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros Wii, is there any really stand out games I should be picking up?

PixelJunk Shooter Battlefield 1943 Super Street Fighter II HDR Those are my top 3 PSN games, none have online co-op however....

I think most people have bought Bomberman in the sale, I know I did! PixelJunk Shooter is probably my favourite PSN game so far, its fantastic.

There's another one, called STD. If you have that callsign equipped, whoever you knife 'catches' the STD. Nice.

I don't want to tempt fate, but my 2 year old PS3 has had no problems at all. It has the occasional crash or freeze, but I think thats more a software problem. Same goes for my 360, never had RRoD or anything. My Sky+ HD box however, breaks on a weekly basis.

You don't need to play the first one, but I would recommend it. Just to get the backstory on the characters.

Apart from the turn table being a bit Fisher Price, this is an awesome game. Rythem Action games live or die by their music, and this one absolutely nails it, apart from a few slightly shit mixes in the early part of the game. Its proper hard though (at the higher difficulty levels).

I think I can speak for all of us when I say our hearts go out to DJ, especially at this time of year, when the festive spirit should be in full swing. I'm sure his PS3 brought him great joy and happiness over the months, I for one have some great memories of getting the crap beaten out of me on Tekken. R.I.P DeathJam's PS3 Disc Drive.

I've just bought it after being given a £20 PSN card. Dunno if I can make tonight though, but definitely up for some Bomberman at some point. Also, PixelJunk Shooter is freakin awesome!!

Yeah I can see why Sony may have the system the way it is. Someone who is say, level 8, looks at someone who is level 11. It doesn't seem that far off from 8 to 11, but in reality, its probably about 400 Trophies. But everyone seems to be around the same level. I get messages like this from time to time. Its probably some dickhead you shot in a game or something.

I think Sony have judged the leveling system slightly wrong. Since getting to level 13, I have earned 2 Platinums and probably around 100 Trophies, and I'm still level 13. I shouldn't be hitting the wall so soon. Ah right, I was just going off my ShopTo pre-orders, which state 26/03/2010. Which does seem a little early for it.

Its funny you mention that, I've just done my pre-orders for the first few months of 2010. Its not definitive, as there are other games that may get purchased. But these are the ones I will be buying regardless.... Heavy Rain Final Fantasy XIII The Last Guardian God of War III Super Street Fighter IV Gran Turismo 5 Thats a couple of hundred pounds worth of games, and thats not including any sleeper hits that may get released and a couple of Xbox exclusives I am interested in. Also, with regards to the Trophies thing, this guy is world number 1. 100 Platinums!! Although there is a rumour he has other people farming Trophies on the same profile.

The ones who run around with Tactical Knife and Lightweight? Yeah they are annoying. Also, the Model 1887 Akimbo re-balancing patch is out for PS3.
