I didn't like Flower much, but I really like the idea of Sony releasing these types of innovative games. Its the main reason I bought it and games like Noby Noby Boy. To support these Devs who are making risky titles that could potentially be a disaster. Its the reason I will buy Heavy Rain, although I have no doubt it will be fantastic. If it was merely average, I would still buy it just to show support. Although if it was a total bombsite of a game, then I wouldn't buy it. I'm all for innovation, but I won't completely waste money.

I used to take my PS3 from Glasgow to Doncaster every weekend on the train for about a year. It will be fine. Also, PixelJunk Shooters is totally worth it.

Yeah they are far too long. Also, this kind of game should be running 60fps no problem. One of the quick race tracks chugs along at I would guess around 10. Also, the handling could do with a bit of fine-tuning. But thats what a beta is for I suppose, iron out any flaws before the final release.

Demo inbound. I don't think I'll play it though. I will get this game regardless, and I have barely seen any gameplay at all. I had the chance to play it at the expo, but didn't bother. I'm not even sure a demo would be appropriate at all, without context or story, a demo might even put people off buying the game.

Yeah I've heard its pretty decent, a bit of a Gears of War clone. Plus its got online co-op, which makes even the worst game fun if you're playing with a friend. Its just a shame its got 50 cent in it. If they had not given money to 50 cent, just totally left him out, and used the money to implement a competitive online suite, then it may have been a really good game. Did you play it much online? I just needed a decent racing game, what with Gran Turismo 5 being delayed yet again. Besides, I got it for the Xbox. I couldn't find it cheap enough for the PS3.

I've got a spare £18 in my Paypal account, and fancy a new game. I've had a quick search on ebay and came up with these 'gems'. WET The Godfather II Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection And just for the lols..... 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand Any suggestions out of those?

I would let her (insist) she plays on her own profile, so the Trophies would not even show up on my gamer card......however.....how easy would it be to just, you know, accidently earn the Platinum on my profile? I'm not a Trophy whore, honest.... Did I mention I just got the Platinum in ACII? 13th now.....

The game was a rush job, they didn't even have time to implement the Trophies properly. A gold for finishing each level and a gold for finishing on hard (which isn't really any harder) earns you a Platinum. I think if they had more time, then it could have turned out ok. But I think the publishers, GRIN, had taken too much on. They did Bionic Commando at the same time, and were rumoured to be working on a Final Fantasy project. Quite a lot for a reletively small development team. Then they went bust. Shame really because they made Bionic Commando: Re-Armed, which is one of the best PSN games available.

In all fairness, right, bear with me. I reckon it would be worth a purchase at that price, not just because of the Trophies, but because the film is actually quite awesome. And it has co-op so could be a laugh with my Daughter.

Looking through my Trophies, there is nothing there that I would be 'ashamed' of having on my list. Even Terminator Salvation, like most people, was a rental (actually I borrowed it off a friend). I will Platinum a game if I really like it (BlazBlue, GoW) or if the Platinum just comes by mostly playing the game's story (T:S, Saw). I've got 12 Platinums at the moment, with GoWII about to be my 13th, then I've just got to collect all the feathers in ACII for my 14th. Trophies have definitely extended the life of these games, and I quite like going after all the Trophies. Does that make me a Trophy whore? Probably..... I wouldn't class Aimless as a Trophy whore though. He doesn't display a Trophy card, and he doesn't come in here and post about his latest Platinum like most of us do. He just keeps his e-penis to himself, and if you're peeking at his penis, then you are probably more concerned about his Trophies than he is.

Just played through Saw: The Video Game. I thought it would be mediocre, but actually found myself enjoying it. I've done this a few times now, if I expect a game to be shit, I usually find I like it, and vice versa. Easy Platinum as well if thats your bag.

Yeah thats the one. I saved between the boss fights, which is apparently what causes the trophy to glitch. I'm not too bothered, it was a pleasure to play through the first time so I don't mind doing it again.
