Despite the first film receiving critical acclaim, the studio decided the budget for Brokeback Mountain 2 needed to be cut.

The only depressing thing about HIM is that people actually spend money on it.

I can field this one - they're not doing anything more than being paid to look like they're having fun. What looks exciting to someone watching an advert? It's certainly not this. Take a look at the feature on the DS in the new Official Nintendo Magazine. The people holding DSes are doing just that - holding them. The machines are off. The photographer's handed them a DS each and said "Look like you're having fun".

Geist had a lot of nice ideas, but the game itself was too flawed for me. The guns were for shit, the controls felt really floaty and loose, and the framerate was way too jerky. I think the game was in development for way too long, and it ended up coming out of the oven burnt.

Because it was bloody awful and it needed the extra year's development to bring it up to merely 'crappily average'.

Stormy In The North by The Wildhearts is a good 'un.

As a rule of thumb, I don't have anything against it. It's fairly harmless, and certainly it's better for people to listen to mass produced guitar stuff than mass produced pop shite. But I draw the line at this **** I saw in Chambers the other night who takes it to be a fashion style rather than a choice of music. Hair dyed black and blonde streaked? Check. Used his mam's hair straighteners? Check. Studded belt not actually holding his trousers up? Check. Said trousers close to falling down? Check. Old punk band who he's never heard of on his t-shirt? Che-fucking-ck. I swear, if I'd asked him who The Damned were and got a response like "It's a slogan, isn't it", I'd have choked the fucker out of principle. Something's really fucking wrong when I walk past Topshop and see Ramones t-shirts in the window. Good Charlotte have a lot to answer for.

Stone Sour are going to be there? That's a dealbreaker, I'm off to Leeds.

I'd go if Tool are playing, but if it's continuing as it is I'll just go to Leeds instead. Basically they should just drop everyone else and just have an Iron Maiden gig.

Most of the cartoons I've seen are pretty harmless, other than being depictions of Muhammed and Allah, which I gather are a sin against Islam. I understand that the depiction of any of the prophets of Islam is a sin, so that probably means that Leo da Vinci's The Last Supper is a blasphemous painting. However, when it comes to pictures like this: That's just horrific. It's no different to this - a poster for Der Ewige Jude, a Nazi propaganda film from 1938.
