  1. If Seb falls off the race track/the earth/ our plane of reality during the next two races we might have a a championship battle to look forward to. Frankly though, I wouldn't put money on it. I just hope others share the coming race wins.
  2. Decent race, title's pretty much settled but I guess it's just that kind of year. Another painful race of watching Lewis fight tooth and nail for not much, he really needs to stop beating himself up so badly. He was incredibly unlucky this weekend. Hulkenberg was a star though, he needs to get a seat in a top-tier team ASAP.
  3. Which one did you get? Would if I had the processor for it. Will probably get into it on PS4.
  4. Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. Give all my love to your family.
  5. Oh, that's nothing a pair of stiletto heels wouldn't fix. I think we need to start a codename registry for all these crushes. I move we re-code CuteGuyAtGym as "Thunderbuns" and Daft's crush simply as "Sempai".
  6. I did do that during the order process. My mum's boyfriend pointed out since I've never used a credit card it's probably because I don't technically have a credit history. Seems surreal but makes a sort of sense for today's society. Anyway, my mum's going to pay for it and I'll pay my mum so it's all gravy.
  7. I think Daniel has the stuff to really take it to Seb. I liked Mark but he simply wasn't on Vettel's level but Daniel's got the energy, talent and ambition to match. Just as long as Red Bull don't get to protective of Seb I think this could get very very interesting.
  8. Ah, that could be it. I'm pinging around the city like a ping-pong ball in China right now (onto my 4th address in two years.) That seems like a real bitch if that's what doing it though, I want that service specifically because I'm likely to be mobile long-term. Three years seems unheard of for a lot of folks of my age & generation. Might work around it with parents in that case.
  9. Grrr, tried to get a mobile phone contract for 3/4g net access but apparently I didn't pass the credit check? Will try again in a day or two, could be because I only changed my address with the bank this morning but it's odd. There is internet in my new place which I can get with a powerline I've bought as a backup plan but it belongs to the guy downstairs who was stoned off his ass when I met him yesterday and I think I'd rather not get involved with him in any capacity if I can possibly help it. It would be annoying at best. At best.
  10. Oh, I can affirm the original GRID is fantastic. Go for that if you haven't played it already. Still looks fantastic on my 360.
  11. I've heard mostly good things, haven't had chance to play it yet but it sounds super interesting. They've done away with cockpit views and streamlined the way the difficulty options work right down. It's not really a "sim" per say, like it's predecessor it's for people who want a racing game to dip-in and out of, rather than a greater level of dedication like Forza or GT. If you played the TOCA games back in the day this is it's most direct descendent. If you've enjoyed any of Codemaster's other racing games I say go for it.
  12. I too remember him fondly from breakfast With Frost and I have enormous respect for him continuing to ask hard questions until the very end with the excellent Al Jazeera English service. He contribution to journalism will never be in doubt.
  13. I promise you you don't. You look like a mild-mannered ZZ Top fan that got lost trying to find the concessions stand.
  14. Oh blimey, that doesn't sound like the ideal breakfast routine.
  15. The Giantbomb Crew - Reminding all the kids out there not to shove a turkey baster full of liqour up your ass. This is also one of the best little animations I've seen in a while and the best Giantbombcast related thing I've ever seen.
  16. I with it as far as stripping out the actually-weirdly-pointless 3D function but the form-factor choice is bizarre.
  17. I saw it once, it was quite handsome.
  18. I'm just not sold on this because I'm not sure what exactly it's doing that's different from any other driving game already out there.
  19. This is strangely compelling.
  20. To quote the great saint himself (Fatman Scoops) -
  21. Nah, it's a regular-size 3DS. Thanks for the offer though. And thanks for the suggestions everyone!
  22. Decided to treat myself and went on a bit of spending spree, grabbed Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem and Metal Gear Solid: Fellatio for the 3DS. Already tried KI, absolutely superb.
  23. Anyway, I'm rather fond of my body. It has a lean, slightly gangly quality I really enjoy about it and overall I feel I'm in pretty damn good shape for an astmatic with a horrible retail job who tends towards intellectual pursuits. I enjoy a moderate level of fitness and would enjoy adopting another physical activity though, as I've said before, the skill & social elements are much more important to me than the fitness element.
  24. Hmm, a win but scrappy, very scrappy. The new strikers are beautiful but this is the third season I just can't seem to get my midfield going. Time to clear out the old guard and start over.
  25. It did rather turn out to be a disappointingly ordinary race after an extraordinary qualifying but that's the way it goes. Fingers crossed for a good race at Monza.
