It'll be Sonic. Failing Sonic, some other third party character. Alucard or Megaman possibly. Who am I kidding? It's going to be Sonic. Also hoping for - Cel-Link, Cloud (with FF7 blouse costume), Pikmin and Pheonix Wright. Tails would be cool too.

Right up until the exact moment in time the cooling system breaks down for some bizarre reason, instantaneously incinerating you and everyone else within a 25-mile radius of your television.

Resi 1-3, Eternal Darkness and FEAR are all brilliantly pant-wetting stuff.

I'd be dressing up if I had something to dress up in.

Indeed my sleeping patterns are buggerd too, though only until Tuesday, where upon college starts again and I am forced to rejoin the daylight world of the living. Aayhoo, back to my work...

Don't worry, I was talking fairly hypothetically. Interesting though isn't it? There are loads of situations out there where people (of ALL faiths) could personally benefit by attacking someone else and probably get away with it. But they don't. I really do think it's built into our genes, and you can't escape it. You say you could probably ignore it, but you can't. Violence is bad and our bodies tell us by feeling bad. Even soldiers brainwashed to kill after a long campaign are left with horrific mental scars that will last them their whole lives. The whole reason the SS used gas chambers was because their troops were too traumatised actually having to shoot or blow up Jewish prisoners. It's kinda weird in it's own way.

So why haven't you? There are plenty of everyday situations where I could have injured or even murdered someone for a variety of minor and significant gains, and probably have gotten away scot free. I didn't do it though, as I'd just feel guilty about the effects my actions would have. What's stopping you?

Are you not basically saying then that it's not wrong if you get away with it?

I really don't think not murdering someone goes far beyond empathy as a basic group survival instinct. It works both ways too. Only psychotics murder purely for the sake of killing others. It's often to defend or expand their territory, their wealth their way of life, protect themselves and their loved ones and so on. All of the most vicious gang cartels often exist in very tight nit groups or communities (Mafia, Yakuza ect.), which offers a means of survival and often subsequently something or someone to kill for, to defend against rival gangs or maybe even to take revenge for. If we didn't have empathy we wouldn't have any concept of avenging someone's death. Because we empathise with a person, if they are hurt we can feel hurt too, and may even want to hurt someone else because we want to make them feel how we feel. Some aren't always able to empathise with everybody, some even choose not to sometimes. Luckily for most of us our ability to empathise is strong enough to stop us from doing crazy stuff. You would never jab your best friend in the eye just because you felt like it, even if you could get away with it.

Basically, I choose not to murder someone for the same reason I have no wish to be murdered. It's just not nice. Empathy, basically. It's a pretty important and extraordinarily basic survival and social instinct for the human race (and probably most of the animal kingdom). Imagine a world where killing someone just didn't matter, at all. It just wouldn't work.

I think the 7600GT would be a good choice, with a decent price and performance. The GS is mainly for the the low budget market, and as such is pretty pants.

Pokemon blue I think, but Links Awakening DX (the funky colour version) sits in a pretty close second. Both were simply incredible.

Steve Irwin's Death - not for the easily offended

I think that would make a scarily prophetic section in his will. -

Am I the only person who has a problem with people actually wanting seeing someone die? -
Cowboy Bebop is great, all space bounty hunters and jazzy hands kung-fu. You got Jet, Jet Black, ex-cop with a bionic arm. Big. Braw. A real hard man, except when he's not cooking or cleaning or generally looking after the rest of the gang. I like that mix. he also has a collection of bonsai trees. Then there's Faye Valentine, easily the sexiest gambling addict this side of Jupiter, a trickster with a troubled, distant past she cannot remember. Then there's Ed, full name Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV, pre-pubescent computer prodigy and an endless source of quirky wisdom ("If you see a stranger: follow him!") Ed is also a girl. Constructed her own computer from scratch, and coded her own OS, which seems to be based on fish. And there's Ein. He's a Welsh corgi, an experimental breed of "data dog" blessed with super intelligence and mad PC skillz thanks to a chip implant. Oh, and there's Spike Spiegel. But I don't like him. He's a whiny little bitch.

What can we say? You're just too damn sexy. It was only going to be a matter of time before the national Hawtness Appreciation society found out.

I'm not a night life person neither, and I'm not a huge fan of parties. As a result I usually tend to make friends slowly too. If you like to hang with the guys around the water cooler at work that's probably where to start. Just ask them if they'd like to go for a drink in a quiet bar or go bowling with you sometime or something. That's all the effort you need if you want to procure some company. Don't believe any foo' who tells you have to truss yourself up like some prise turkey and do the chicken dance when you'd rather just take things easy. Two steps to being cool - A - Ignore what other people think, and be yourself. B - Just don't be an asshole.

Brothers in Arms + "unnanounced new brand"+ A Star Trek game (Encounters probably) + Rainbow 6 = 4 more. Other slim possibiities - Catz/Dogz/Horsez, Alexandra Ledermann 7, DF - Black Hawk Down and Myst: Complete edition. (Don't quote me on any of this, unless I'm right.) -
I don’t need 5.1 in the Wii. What about you?
gaggle64 replied to Zombie_Fan's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'd certainly like 5.1 if I had a suitable set of speakers. I don't even have a decent set of spekaers to make the most of Dolby 2. Probably not likely to have one until Wii 2! I do think that quality sound can actually make a bigger improvment then higher quality graphics. Though the type of market the Wii looks set to appeal to probably aren't that bothered. -
I need a new graphics cars. I'm confused.

Nah, the 7600GS sucks noodles. There's a handsome 7600GT for £140 on there that's much more worth your while.
