  1. I'd love it if it was like the old Air Combat series - arcadey but not too wildly in your face. Probably still finishing the textures. Explosions look nice.
  2. "I don't wanna hurt you... I just wanna bash your brains in!" "But they'll see everything! They'll see the big board!" "Some asshole's always tryin' to ice skate uphill!"
  3. Certainly in the top echelon. I also recommend Timsplitters 2 & 3, all Resis, metroid primes 1 & 2, F-Zero, Wave Race, Metal Arms, Pikmin 1 & 2 and Wario Ware is easily the best party game. Also Smash Bros. Soul Calibur 2 is the best fighter ever.
  4. Everything in The Simpsons up to about season 8 is pure comedy gold. Futurama betters it after about season 12. I think the top 5 are a good selection. I have spoken.
  5. = stunning idea. You could make a web comic out of these things or something.
  6. I doubt that. If it was they would probably fill it with loads of stuff anyway - the field in OOT was big enough. No more then 5 mins on horse back I reckon, with a teleportaion device to be discovered later as standard.
  7. Absolutely. It's a testement to the film that it got away clean with such a crazy, messed up twist to the story.
  8. "Got to... get... FUNKY!"
  9. I'd like to second both of those, if I may.
  10. I might buy it as a presie for my lil' bro. I'm not much of a Hoffster, but he's much more of your typical Hoffophile.
  11. This is probably very close to what I'll look like 5 years time. Scary.
  12. Alucard is a ponce. God only knows the sort of insults Dr Cox coul twist out of that fruity name of his. EDIT- no wait, silly question.
  13. Spirited Away, Nightmare Before Christmas and Ren and Stimpy all in the top 20 indicates good taste. Futurama and The Snowman should be a bit higher though. Actuall The Snowman should be a lot higher.
  14. Yes, that's apparently what happend, along with another 2 additional dungeons. They all got moved lock, stock and barrel and are now lying around in Twilight Princess in some form. Personally I wasn't too bothered about the low (well, lower) number of dungeons, especially as the overworld and the sailing was so magically georgeous. I can understand why some didn't like it, but I loved the sailing and the more relaxed, general pace the game had over it's former incarnations.
  15. A nice cup of coffee should help even things out.
  16. That and cheap medicine.
  17. Good B-days for all!
  18. Everyone's favourite computer-based Star wars goodness.
  19. Arthur, Celtic origin = noble. Cool. Apparently there are three female equivilants from roman times - Arthuretta, Arthurina and Arthurine. Didn't know that. I like the way they sound like campy Tolkein-esque charcters too. EDIT: tried a cnother of these name sites - apparently I'm also courageous and a deout follower of Thor. Okay.
  20. OOT - Diving off the bridge. Lylat Wars - THAT Independence Day-like level. Metroid Prime - Landing on Tallon IV for the first time. Metal Arms - The attack on the rebel robot town. Starwing - "This is Corneria, Pepper speaking, congratualtions, on a job well done!"
  21. Crappy taste in bubble cars though.
  22. My first week in Carlisle has pretty pleasant, all told. Nice little Uni, wonderfully eccentric tutors, great set of shops and pubs in the town, a brilliant little alternative cinema (that’s showing the original Robin Hood movies tomorrow – huzzah!) and a nice quiet flat. Still need to find where Morrisons is though. There’s one around here somewhere judging by all the students with plastic bags, but I can’t find it anywhere. It’s like one of those invisibility puzzles you need a special item for in Zelda. I had best get over to the haunted well in the castle before I run out of milk. Where’s my mirror shield?
  23. My writing tutor has a rather glorious taste in shirts. More later. Tired now.
  24. Snow Cake - Not so much an examination of autism, more of a half-baked set of character studies with an autistic person involved. Messy, dull, cliched script and half-hearted direction. Generally a bit pants. 3/10 Last Action Hero - Arnie at his prime starring in that rare oddity, a genuinly funny and exciting action comedy, which also manages to be highly imaginative and only stops just short of even being thought provoking. Danny - "You really think you're funny don't you?" Jack (Arnie) - "Of course I'm funny, I'm the famous comedian Arnold Brownschwagger!" 9/10
  25. Moving into my room tomorrow - I'm packing up my computer along with the other odds and ends still left now. Looking forward to getting my own room. I love my bro but I desperately need my own four walls. Toodles!
