  1. I seem to be on an anime blitz as of late. Just started watching Noragami, 5 episodes in and I know I'll keep watching, it's got me very intrigued. EDIT: Well I've done it again, I should be asleep but couldn't stop watching. That's Noragami finished now, I really enjoyed it, even if it is short, and the fight in the final episode is pretty good.
  2. I'm not booking any time off but I am looking forward to the game for sure!
  3. Just watched the movie Sword of the Stranger, thought it was great. The animation is superb and the final sword-fight is incredible! I've just watched Tokyo Godfathers too, it's a good little film, well worth a watch.
  4. Crazy stuff today, great for the competition though. I hope that the last of these silly losses and conceding a lot for us!
  5. And some people may complain that Mario is colourful, they've every right to do so. People complained that they didn't like the look of Wind Waker because of it's visuals, for example. Of course it's brown because of the tone they want but that tone isn't appealing to me as result is all I'm saying. Welcome to opinions FFS.
  6. I like the idea of the setting but there's just so much brown... it kind of puts me off a bit, I don't like the look of it as a result.
  7. I experience this and have done recently... I still am to some extent too. I find it happens a lot when I'm playing a certain game for a long time or if there's an excess of games for a particular genre that I have to play through. Destiny. I played this game a lot over a couple/few months. It was great at first but fairly quickly became VERY repetitive and started to grate on me. When the DLC came out, I felt it was so heavily overpriced for what the content was, it immediately turned me off and I just couldn't be bothered gaming. Platformers on WiiU. SM3DW, NSMBU, DKCR:TF, Rayman, Sonic LW... the platform is over-saturated with them. I've not purchased DKCR:TF because I can't bear to think of having yet another platformer. I got rid of Sonic as it was so pants and yet that I've still got the Mario games and Rayman just put me off playing them. Then there's the upcoming Mario Maker, Yoshi, Kirby...not to mention a host of eShop games. The thought of playing a platformer just puts me off at the moment... but not just of playing platformers, it's putting me off gaming in general. Then I look at my backlog and think "crap, I have to knuckle down and get finishing some of these". I do want to but I feel meh about it, so I can't be arsed.
  8. So here's what you do in No Mans Sky (I love the sound of this more and more)... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-01-22-so-what-do-you-actually-do-in-no-mans-sky It should lay to rest your fears of it not being too big @Ronnie. Although it sounds like meeting up in-game and exploring together will be quite difficult...
  9. Especially Nintendo's board, they're out-dated dragons with a backwards view on gaming these days. They're detrimental to company and industry!
  10. I'd disagree with this, I think Chelsea made themselves look ordinary. No high pressing up the pitch, our movement and passing wasn't as good as usual and the biggest thing was that we sat back more than we have done recently which allowed you to play in front of us without being harried.
  11. Aaaaaand that's season 2 of Psycho-Pass done. I enjoyed it but not quite as much as the first season. It's still good though.
  12. That's only if you take on the wrong enemies at the wrong time. What I love about Xenoblade is that you can be a low level, say 20, and there are level 80 monsters walking about the place, even in early areas. The thing is, you're so insignificant in comparison to them that they don't see you as a threat and carry on their business as they would, ignoring you. It's only when you're in a certain level range of them that they are threatened and may attack, but they can still be avoided. You're only slashing away for ages at an enemy if you decide to fight an enemy that you don't have to at too low a level. It's brilliantly done!
  13. 5 episodes into season 2 of Psycho Pass... awesome!
  14. Not really... unless he's saying he has none of the items in stock as it's taking longer than expected to manufacture them, hence the drought, and so he's asking us to "please understand".
  15. I'm now 11 episodes into Pyscho Pass and I'm finding it fooking awesome! The ending of that 11th episode... absolutely great! EDIT: Ok, so I should be asleep but I've not been able to stop watching this. Just finished it and loved it, I can't wait to make a start on the second season! It's definitely one I'd recommend to those that haven't seen it!
  16. I'd not mind Retro working on Metroid, be it 2D or 3D, although I'd prefer a 3D one... maybe in 3rd Person though. I don't want them to be working on a platformer that's for sure, the WiiU has too many platformers released and yet to be released, let's have something different please.
  17. Watched the first few episodes of Pyscho Pass, looks to be a good'n!
  18. Just downloading MUMBLE now, thanks! I get what you mean with the Glaive, but if it was just a Glaive then you could argue that it'd be fairly similar to the Long Sword, the Kinsect kind of puts it in a gap between the Long Sword and Hunting Horn. It's good for people that like the idea of the Hunting Horn but find it a little too cumbersome for them to wield. I must say, I don't think there's a weapon class I dislike yet. They're all good in their own way. I do have preferences though.
  19. There's A Link Between Worlds finished, what a great game it was too!
  20. I've given the Glaive and Charge Blade a little go, of the 2 I prefer the Glaive, I don't know why people are complaining about the Kinsect, you don't have to use it and using it isn't difficult or fiddly either. I gave the Bow a go too as I started using that on MH3U and loved it, I do like it still and will enjoy using it more once my New 3DS XL arrives. I'm only hunting the G. Jaggi on the demo as I don't want to get used to any of the new monster's attacks too soon.
  21. Mate, try thinking what it's like when you keep saying it's ironic and hypocritical of me saying voice chat is important, when it's not ironic or hypocritical of me at all. The only reason it sounds condescending is because you're taking it to be that way, the fact is, you are not actually grasping it. Voice chat is important because when I game with my friends I want to be able to chat with them. It's nice to chat to others that aren't my friends sometimes too so it's a bonus when you can (we made some good mates on CoD on the Wii who were randoms, @Zechs Merquise and @lostmario can attest to this) but mainly I'm talking about chatting with my friends and so it's not ironic or hypocritical at all yet you keep going on how it is (off the forum too)... so it's only evident that you're not grasping it. I figured the only way you'd get what I'm saying and actually see how it's not ironic is if I don't use voice chat when we game... and then there'd be the actual irony, that you'd the understand why I'm saying voice chat is make or break and that there's nothing ironic in what I've been saying. I've tried talking to you about it before and gave you the best way of saying it; if it wasn't for voice chat, we'd never have met up or became mates. That goes to show how make or break it is, yet you keep saying how I'm being hypocritical, sorry if you feel in being condescending but when you keep going on and not really listening or taking in what I'm saying it's the only way I can put my point across.
  22. You're not grasping it, evidently. I don't choose to play those multiplayer games without voice chat, because they have voice chat and so I use it. I use it with randoms sometimes too. Just because I'm not gaming with anyone on my friends list it doesn't mean I'm always silent. The big thing is voice chat IS in those games. Really Blade, so that you grasp it, I'll not chat when we play. I actually think it's the only way you'll get it.
  23. Your last sentence is key though. I enjoy BF and CoD enough to play on my own. I don't enjoy MK8 or Smash enough to play on my own. Also, the big thing what you're not appearing to grasp is that when people do join me online in those games, we actually do chat and it becomes even more fun. In MK8 and Smash and probably Splatoon, you fucking can't! It's this that shows your post holds no water and that you're laughing at nothing. There's no irony in my comments at all. To show you what I mean, to better help you understand, when we're online together I'll not go on chat with you and we'll game in silence. See how you enjoy it in comparison to being able to chat.
  24. There was simply no way I was having you not play one of the Mario Galaxy games. It wasn't a favour, it wasn't a gesture of goodwill by me. It was simply a demand that you have it as it would've been criminal for you to not! Haha
