  1. This is a really good point. Recent Netflix originals have been fantastic!
  2. After watching more of Xenoblade Chronicles X and the Dolls flying through the landscapes... it'd be awesome if you could call a Loftwing in this to get about too!
  3. Sweet baby Jesus I cannot wait!!! That just looks so damn sweet!
  4. My hype has remained the same, very high. Even without online I was majorly hyped for this game! With there not being voice-chat, it just means I'll not invest as much time with co-op as I would've done otherwise.
  5. It is a major kick in the balls for multiplayer. Posting so is perfectly fine and apt. The game does look amazing, we've also posted that, look through the thread and you'll see. A bit of news comes that displeases and we can't post that too? Of course we can!
  6. Hold on, so it's online co-op but there's no voice chat..? I'm interested in this for the single player experience so I'll still get the game if this is the case but still, what a joke if true.
  7. He has talent and a lot of latent talent too, if he lives up to his potential he'll be a fantastic player. He needs the correct management and nurturing as well as the correct attitude, which it appears he does have. He's like an unpolished diamond.
  8. Everything in this video goes to show that there will be plenty of strategy to this game. With how clothing effects your movement/defence/strength etc as well as the different types of weapons, secondaries and specials. Those that said it'll not be strategic are so wrong. It looks like it could be fantastic, I only hope I'll be buying it.
  9. I can be matched with friends too so it's not really as synonymous as that. The point of the matter is, we're hoping for some news on it, when we post our displeasure at either there being no news or bad news, that's perfectly fine. Just as is it to post if you like aspects about it. If people don't want pages arguing about voice-chat then they shouldn't quote us and start an argument by saying "it doesn't need it" etc. because to some it does need it.
  10. The reason it keeps being brought up @Ronnie is because people are wanting to know about voice-chat, to some whether they buy the game or not hinges on it, so we're looking for any info on it at all. If there's full voice-chat in the game it'll be one of my most anticipated games, if not then I'll not be picking it up. It's THAT important to me, you have to accept this. When we get first translations that suggest there's no communication at all in the game (supposedly it's now just no communication with randoms) then of course I can post my opinion on the matter, this is a forum after all. If you didn't want this to carry on then just ignore my post and talk about the game, but because you start going on how "the game doesn't need voice-chat" etc it then turns into a discussion that lasts pages because for some it does need it. If you just leave it at our initial post, and accept for some the game needs voice-chat, then there'd be no issue. This is a forum and so both positive and negative comments are ok to post.
  11. I don't know who uses what architecture and what-not, but they have to make it similar to the Sony and Microsoft consoles to at least get 3rd Party ports. If they make it too disimilar again they'll just miss out once more on far too many games! 3rd Parties need a relatively easy and as cheap as possible port process. They also need Party Chat at OS level and better Virtual Console (I'll not be paying for the same games again on a new machine) maybe similar to a Netflix type service if they can (as has been said before). As things stand I'll not be buying their next console, not at launch or at full price at least. I'm one customer they've effectively lost when really they shouldn't have done, if it wasn't for their backwards attitudes toward gaming. Still, I'm one customer that I do hope they win back... unless they go 3rd or 2nd Party to either Microsoft or Sony, I'd actually prefer that!
  12. @Glen\-i the reason I don't hear you is because I don't play them online because I find that they feel soulless, due to the lack of voice chat in-game. :p
  13. Why do some people not understand muting or switching off your mic?
  14. I don't see how some people on this forum cannot comprehend this.
  15. Edited so that it's dropped... Basically the picture, as with the one in my sig are tongue-in-cheek.
  16. I don't think he's told any, I know he has. Given that I can't actually talk to Reggie, my use of the word cunt cannot be directed aggressively and so it shouldn't be taken as so. So no, no other perspective is needed.
  17. But he has told lies a few times about both the WiiU and games on it. What perspective is needed?
  18. Then add us to your ignore list. Just like you'd mute someone with voice-chat online. Problem solved. Also, it's not just about strategy, the biggest thing is being able to talk to my friends. Since when is talking to your friends not fun? Yet still, those that say it's not strategic will be those losing games more than winning, because those that use even the slightest bit of strategy will beat those without any!
  19. Voice-chat with friends is a must for any game. Voice chat with randoms should be in there, there's always the option to mute people! I've met loads of people through gaming online, during my CoD days on both the 360 and Wii. Many of which are friends of mine now. Just because some randoms may be annoying online, it doesn't mean all if them are. If they put in voice chat all they'd need do is have an option when going online: Voice-chat - On / Team-mates Only / Friends Only / Off What's so difficult about that? Why is it that people don't see options as something that's fair? Why is it that you have these options on CoD Black Ops Ghoss on the WiiU and yet not Nintendo games?! At the end of the day, being able to chat with friends is fun. If Nintendo are all about having fun, why is it they restrict the fun to be had?!
  20. Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros and now it looks to be the same with Splatoon. No in-game voice chat. Then there's the decisions to have no online in games like SM3DW, Pikmin etc where online would be a great addition. I'm glad their single player experiences are still great but their multiplayer games just aren't fun anymore (unless it's local). Nintendo is like a girlfriend that is fit and is great when you're together but she never wants to you see your mates ever again. You just have to break up with her as she's not right for you in the long-run. I'm gutted and angry because I love Nintendo, but they just aren't catering for me anymore, I'm devastated.
  21. I hope that's the case @Serebii. I really do. If you can chat with friends then I'll pick it up day 1. I'm sick of online gaming that is soulless as a result if not being able to talk to my friends. It's just nowhere near as fun.
  22. This news is utterly wank. I had such high hopes for this game, my first few posts in this thread were so enthusiastic, I was hyped, and Nintendo have just gone and shat all over it, big-time. I'll not even bother picking this up now. Round of applause for Nintendo for totally and utterly screwing this one up!
  23. Once I've got my MM Edition New 3DS XL, I'll trade in my standard 3DS and a couple games and finally pick this (and the first) up.
  24. I've never played the online on this (I even forgot their was an online mode) but I'd be game sometime!
