I'm not against difficulty but the structure, movement and overall feel are important. I found Dark Souls to be much too clumsy and several sections took so much willpower to get through that I just don't want to deal with again.. much like Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii. I'm glad I played them both, especially as they both go against my usual instincts, but they definitely took their toll!

If you're trying to sell me on Sekiro, well played 😅 After clearing Dark Souls Remastered on Switch, I don't think I ever want to play a similar game again. I assumed that would include Sekiro but you may have changed my mind!

I totally forgot about these guys until you posted it Good times! My first proper memory of E3 was probably the VHS which came with the first issue of NGC when it changed from N64 Magazine I must have watched it a dozen times or more. It was so cool to have footage of Nintendo's exciting new console without having to stay awake until the early hours of the morning to catch shows such as Cybernet and Bits on terrestrial TV! Whatever happens with E3 2021, I just hope we get something that makes me want to climb my chair like Kyle Bosman

Mario Kart 9 or Mario Kart 8 DLC will be shown.

I reckon they probably got the idea for The Merchant from a man they found hiding out in some dark, shady alleyway. He'd open his jacket and it would be lined with Juracek's pictures..

All I can hear in my head is Lucius Sweet complaining that I couldn't give the XBOX one lousy round.. ..and as Drederick Tatum once stated: "I would certainly reconsider it!"

I knew that going in. That's largely while the same was so quick after! I didn't want to risk making a loss once I had pretty much decided I didn't need to keep it.. It's oddly liberating!

I feel bad that I've taken the chance away from someone else to own it for a reasonable price (CeX are charging something like £600 for one ) but they gave me £460 in cash so that's £11 more than I paid for it. It is what it is!

The cashier at CeX had the audacity to confer with his colleague to determine whether the XBOX Series X I perfectly repackaged and submitted to them after 5 days of minor use with not a single mark on it was "mint condition".. ..but it's over! I'll always have those memories of when I stuck Rare Replay on that one time and didn't play anything

Haha.. despite what I said, I managed to eventually get to grips with it on Dreamcast because of the QTEs! A and B aren't as much of a problem but, like you, as soon as I'm prompted to press X or Y, I inevitably hit the wrong one 😝

I don't think I could ever get used to the layout of the A, B, X and Y buttons anyway.. 😅

So.. even though I have 3 months of GamePass to use without further payment, I fear the value of trade in to CeX will drop if I don't sell it to them soon so tonight may well be my farewell. Forgive me.

Haha.. na, it's totally on me! I had the idea of getting one in my head for weeks and I was eventually gonna try it out one way or another. We all know how it will turn out, that's the funniest part..

I played a couple of races on PS5 as my bro had it and I have it downloaded on XBOX already but haven't started it myself. I've still got a lot to do in Dirt Rally 2.0 on PS4 (which I love) as well as lots of challenges in Drive Club to go back to (which I also love ) It just makes the unnecessary lunacy of my purchase even more obvious than it clearly was already!

In that respect, yes.. but in most other ways, probably not Generally, I'm not into more realistic 'simulation' racing games so the lighter aspects of Horizon are probably more appealing.. but yes, the open world nature of it is likely to be what wears me down eventually. It's weird to say, but I sometimes find it hard to judge how much I ultimately enjoy those games as I'm playing them Gamepass has so much content, though. It's difficult to know where to start! I've downloaded a number of games (Sunset Overdrive, Rare Replay, Master Chief Collection and FIFA 21, amongst a few others) but, as was anticipated and likely to be the main barrier to me fully appreciating what is on offer, there just aren't enough hours in the day. I've had very little time to be absorbed in anything and with the amount of games available, it's so easy just to keep jumping between everything and never really settling I expected this, though, and hope that I'll eventually see the benefits of owning the system. I can absolutely see that if it's your only console and have a subscription to Gamepass, you're laughing! Endless hours of fun!

Tonight was supposed to be the night I get home from work, drive to Argos to collect my Series X and then come home to tell you all that Wave Race: Blue Storm is better than Forza Horizon 4.. ..and it is! I've had it since Sunday.

What on earth have I walked into here..? I wasn't expecting to see my foul language on display for the world to see.. but the rumours are true 😅 I don't physically own it yet as apparently it won't be available to collect until Wednesday but after the usual feelings or doubt, disgust and trepidation (standard day) I just went and did it.. and right now, I feel fantastic 😁 With genuine excitement for Mario Gold and Skyward Sword, it's probably the worst time I could have picked one up.. and then a third child on the way in August. But you know what? A large part of me just doesn't give a FFFFFFF.........

I haven't heard the beep since I turned off my PS5 for the last time!
