Nintendo Holding a Conference- October 2nd
D_prOdigy replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'm pretty sure there'll be no livestream. Really, that's exclusive to E3 -
Argh, sounds like this is a class game. I might pick it up soon, but I'll have to get Lock's Quest first. Then again, fricking Game/Gamestation could come through for me and give me job, and then I'd have no problem getting both. : peace: Even so... I have way too many Wii/DS games I need to actually finish.

Precisely. Some people are coming at this from the wrong angle. HVS is a company who earned their bacon from publishers by having to crap out liscenced tat on PS2. And to come from that to internally develop the Quantum3 engine and pull out a game that is STILL more technically advanced than 95% of all 3rd party Wii games? That takes recognition. But sure, it's alright to fap all over the internet about the next Capcom port or Squeenix spin-off.

God, I hope they're not publishing Conduit... But I do wish they'd hurry up and get Pikmin's name changed to Pikmen, so Emasher will start actually typing "Pikmin" -
The NoE music thing is still totally irrelevant for all we know. Don't believe anything until Nintendo reports it.

Arc Rise Fantasia (Marvelous/Image Epoch)

It will have a TGS presence. This games smacks of the Wii Tales that should have been... Bring it on. -
Wario Ware is what you need, my friend.

Half-Life: Blue Shift Recently finished Half-Life 2, and realised I never got reound to completing this spin-off, so I demand loose ends to be tied (although the fact that I will never buy the Episodes is perhaps slightly hypocritical). But unfortunately, out of the original HL trilogy (Half-Life, Half-Life: Opposong Force, Half-Life: Blue Shift), it's perhaps the weakest. It's also weird that I'd blasted through an hour's worth this afternoon and progressed what took me months to do the first time round. Yet as cool as it is to actually cross paths with Gordon Freeman at the start and think "Oh yeah, I remember that event from Freeman's eyes in HL", there's something strangely repetitive about the gameplay, and level design is awfully linear. Feels more like an ametuer mod, if anything. But then again, it still has the flesh and bones of Half-Life, so it's got to be worth at least 6.5/10

They'll probably wait for just the right moment before releasing a 6-set, thus bringing more millions into the Lucas estate. Hopefully it will be this event:

I'd like to tip-toe into the same boat as pedro. It could be true, and would perhaps make sense on a financial level. But there is one monumental paradox in this report: =/= Sounds like one, big, unnecessary carbon footprint. -
Damn, that's awful. He didn't actually retire that long ago, did he?

Happy Birthday. Here's a totally-irrelevant-to-you birthday picture!

If it's for the one in either Oldham or Manchester, the best thing to do would be to slap the interviewer in the face and tell them to hire Aaron. If not, just act yourself and don't be too obsessed with trying to be perfect. Good luck.

Street Fighter IV looks nice, but isn't doing anything majorly special. Remember, it was developed for the Arcade market, not the Cell processor. Plus, it's stylised, and for some reason developers seem to be very good at stylised Wii games as opposed to realism. So yes, not only is the game technically possible on Wii, but it's also prerrt inevitable, given the user base.

Argh! Fetch that bug spray and rolled-up newspapers, the pirates are making themselves known again! On topic, I'd say Viva Pinata. The DS game proves that it can actually be intuitively smooth; something the 360 games failed to do. It's also certain to be the last Pinata game that's made, considering innevitable sales woes. There'll always be more Fifas

Nintendo Holding a Conference- October 2nd

IF any new games are announced, there's a small possibilty that they would have known before hand that those games are in development. As for the actual conference though, the only people that know what is going to happen there is Nintendo. -

*Sigh* They do not work for Nintendo. The "official" bit stands for pretty much nothing in this day and age. -
