I definitely prefer the melee model, i think its the nose, it just looks like someone glued a giant green sphere to his face. Poor thing. Its the only character so far i've not preferred the new version.

Yoshi looks a bit plain compared with the other characters we've seen so far (well except kirby). campared with the amount of detail put into the mario/link/zelda/ etc model/textures, it just looks like they could have done a bit more.

Personally I'd rather have a good sequel or original game, and I really hate the idea of porting a game almost exactly with just tacked on controls. Yes it does give players a wider selection games, but I don't think just adding new controls is really worth paying for. There should definitely be more effort made, in either rebalancing, new art/textures, more levels/secrets/missions, level tweaking etc. The best remake I've seen was the gamecubes remake of the original resident evil, it was practically rebuilt from the ground up. I really hope they put alot of effort in Rockstar's Bully, simply because it was critically a good game but rather bombed at retail. If its more that a simple port with tacked on controls I won't be buying it. Basically tacking on the wii controls, while leaving the rest of the game nearly identical just screams quick cash in. I'd rather devolpers put in a bit more time and thought rather than trying to make a last quick buck off an old game.

Ketchup is horrible becaseu whatever you put it on then tastes like ketchup. Its an nice taste, but i also like to taste the other things on my plate. Brown sauce is much better on sausages and bacon etc. Salad cream is about good as you get for cold meat, salad and CHIPS. The best sauce however is Branstons Pickles brown sauce, Its like some awesome person has mated HP brown sauce and braston pickle and produced a glorious mongrel offspring that has inherited the best qualities from each. Tis truely awesome. works with EVERYTHING. except chips (go salad cream)

I'm taking this as a replacement Ice climbers level, and that its almost definite that the ice climbers have been replaced. I doubt I'll miss them, they weren't even much fun to pound into oblivion. As for characters, I'll probably keep with pikachu, although Pit and Meta knight look very interesting interesting, and I can see myself playing alot of those two.

no secret alliances, isn't that like the whole point? or more importantly breaking said secret alliance. There is probably a different website we can use

we should organise a forum diplomacy game. 7 players will be easy enough to find, only problem is that it usually takes a fair while 3-4 hours. (depending on turn length, but longer is always better, more plotting). I'm free constantly for the next 2 months :P EDIT: I will read above posts eventually.

buying a shiny new keyboard and mouse is never going to instantly going to make you play amazingly if you weren't doing so before. What it does do is make everything nicer to play. After using a diamondback for several months, I find it difficult to use a normal mouse, the motions much smoother, more accurate, buttons more responsive etc. Not just gaming but using my PC in general. Same with the keyboard, yes I could do without the backlighting an little LCD screen telling me network and processor usage etc, but small things like being able to disable the windows key on the fly, or having 18 (each with 3 modes so 54) macro keys that I can program (on the fly, with optional time delays) to do whatever I want are really useful (again in games (rpg's especially) and desktop).

I only regret one thing, not buying shares in Corus when they were 3p each. They stopped trading at over £5.00 a few years later (they were amalgomated 5 to one, but its still 3000%-4000% increase). Turns out even if the company had gone bust the shares would be worth 15p, so there was no chance of loosing anything. Would have made uni alot easier. There isn't anything else I regret, most things I just learn from and carry on. If you spend all your time moping around about the past, your never going to enjoy the present.

1) It would never go nuclear 2) It would never be a 1v1 war, there are plenty of countries between us which would have to allow airforce/navel passage, at least most of europe would have to decide --> world war 3) If there was ever war, it would have to be for a very good reason, one in which there would be definite split of philosophy, ie countries on both sides both think one of us had done something atrocious --> world war 4) It would be easier for UK to invade Russia than Russia to Invade England. We're a small Island, with comparatively amazing transport to any part of the country. We could quickly and easily mount a defence to any point. Navel assaults are much easier to defend against than marching across a border (which Russia has a fair amount of). 5) We have a better trained and more proficient army, airforce and navy. Russia has a much larger force. Larger is usually better on the ground. Advanced better in the air. Navy would be close. You need ground occupation to win a war, we'd never win it on Russian soil, and we'd reduce an assault on UK soil before it landed. ie no-one wins. With allies it would be interesting. Assuming traditional alliances/conflicts. 1 side: UK, America, Commonwealth (inc India), Japan, Western Europe, South Korea. 2nd Side: Russia, China, North Korea, Middle East, Eastern Europe. It would be not much fun, China has the largest airforce and a large navy as well as huge ground forces. North Korea is the most militarised country in the world (something like 40% of population). UK and Allies have a large technological advantage in terms of military hardware (tanks, planes, navy). China is much more of a threat than Russia military wise.

Don't go with wireless, too many problems, small lag, needs battery/charging. I personally have the Logitech G15 Keyboard and Razor Diamondback Mouse. No complaints with either and both look amazing together (I got the plasma diamondback to match the blue backlighing of the G15). If you do get the G15 I'd recommend downloading the SirReal app for the LCD screen, as its the most useful one I've found.

Imagine having to sit all your exams in a gown and bow tie (or at least walk to the exam schools with them), and carry your mortar board to every exam, but not wear it (most people use it as a pencil case). Unfortunately I don't get to graduate for another year, so I'll be a graduand until then.

There goes my hope as playable Deoxys, as previously mentioned his switching between modes would have been an interesting concept. Its a shame the pokeball attack doesnt make a point of this, as its the pokemons main feature. The only way I see ditto happening is as a random character selector, rather than selecting to the empty space like you did in melee. not sure which pokemon to replace pichu with, Lucario seems like just a fighter, If a pokemon gets in I want to them to have something special, like mewtwos reliance on pyscic powers or pikachu's use of electricity. I think eevee would open up alot of interesting possibilities, although im not sure how you'd be able to choose which version you wanted easily. Theres not many pokemon I can see as whole characters, with a variety of attacks and interesting moveset.

Either way, I got 1000 points for 789 stars. That wasn't a bad rate. But my guess is still 3000 or 3500.

That what I got in second year exactly but I just found out I managed to pull my grade up to scrape (and i mean scrape, by less than 0.1%) a 2:1. How awesomely flukey is that? What's interesting is I haven't managed over 60% in a core exam, my grades have been pulled up with the short options, BA essay and presentation which are worth very few marks, but I've gotten over 80% in them all, so my grade was pulled up by non-physics related stuff. yay.

1 game = 250 stars ~ £25 1000 points = £7.50 assume they work on a 5% reward system, which isn't unreasonable and is in-line with most companies reward schemes. You spend £150 to get £7.50 back. £150 ~ 12 games = 3000 stars. So I recon about a 3 to 1 conversion rate. 1000 points = 3000 stars. Maybe drop it to 2500 because of how few points you get with a console. 4000 is a little harsh, 2000 isn't very good business sense.

Rockhead, could you please send me a sandwich through the post? Homemade Sandwiches ftw, gregs always feel to manufactured and don't taste that good. I was big fat bready with nice crusts, piles of bacon or sausage or chicken, then generous amounts of salad with the appropriate sauce. maybe chuck in a few little bits of chillie or something. Basically I like something that fills me up for the day, rather than just tiding me over for an hour or so. Scunthorpe just got a subway, the only reason its still in business is because it one of the only places up that end of the high street that's open when all the clubs close.

There probably won't be any need for board closure, It's not like E3 is going to be very big. Hopefully we'll still get some news. I take those times are GMT?

Still waiting for my degree results, should be some time this week. I think I have a 2:2 but there's a small chance i might have scraped a 2:1. Here's to hoping. Stupid Oxford system with its stupid exams really late.

Great final smash, Giga Bowsers also been given a fairly decent makeover. Looks much more evil than melee's version. Plus nintendo seem to have come to the conclusion about normal bowsers hair, maybe they deliberately shortened it so giga bowser would look even better.

Add pikmin to that list, they seem perfect for it. one of each colour each having a different attack, or a huge horde of the little blighters.

Or possibly there will be a trophy for each assist character that can only be got by finding it during a level. And probably another trophy for collecting them all. I hope they don't get rid of trophies, I personally liked them.
