  1. Free (legal) download of Lazerproof by Major Lazer and La Roux Basically a mixtape by Lazer just having too much fun with La Roux's songs. Bouncy.
  2. No, it's just really obvious.
  3. Well Up doesn't take itself seriously, obviously. Avatar does...they're two different animals.
  4. Stunningly caught. I love how no one else seemed to care/notice. Also
  5. Yeah, my pet peeve/general hate in life is when people think just cause things are sad, depressing, suicidal-thought-inducing, they're "bad" or not potentially perfect. (not really directed at your UP reveiw btw Nwolf)
  6. Thanks Dan for making me catch up with Second Coming...it's so awesome. The shit just hit the fan in this week's X Force. Or rather, you can see the shit approaching the fan. I love how people actually get hurt in these battles. Sorry
  7. BSG really isn't hardcore Sci-Fi. They just happen to be in Space. There's no aliens, and the only "robots" that humanity ever created turned on them, and so no more were ever made, really.
  8. Ha, that's my one...best I could do on GIMP. ReZ has inspired me to actually draw something properly for the next game, though.
  9. Yeah the only discomfort I experience from PDA is jealousy. People can do what they want.
  10. Yes! I mentioned a while back I randomly started reading ASM because I saw it was Bachalo. He's so essential. Loving the story too...Lizard has never really been done "well". I remember there was some team-up with Calypso done by Todd McFarlane in the 90's that was supposed to be good, but apart from that... But yeah, this was great. Except for the pages done by another artist (presumably Bachalo ran out of time?, the issues seem to be out every week though so I'm not suprised). Re; Return of Bruce Wayne. I basically have no idea what's going on other than how it all vaguely ties into B+R with the portraits and stuff. I never read Final Crisis or anything..would that help? The art's nice though.
  11. Secret Avengers 9/10
  12. Oh. I remember. So on Dan's recommendation, I've just reread through Second Coming, and it is really good! It is much more of a single story than I imagined (I thought it would be the teams of each book having their say on the overall situation, but each chapter is actually essential, and not necessarily about the main team that book deals with).
  13. Who was he in Angel?! And yeah, he's AWESOME. His character in Hurt Locker is very Hawkeye (a bit dickish, cocky, etc).
  14. What's going on here? It's just counting down. EDIT: What a bizarre loading system. Thought it was the real thing. Really disturbing too. Anyway - lololololololol
  15. Realistically I'm only interested in Vol.2 from the 80's - Early 90's, and even then only Morrison's run and maybe Rachel Pollacks (I've not read that). If you have any of them, I'm ready and open. It just means that artists who work for Pixar did a variant cover for a cover. That's all. (as far as I can tell)
  16. Considering I actually like X-Men, I might go back and read them all. I'm just uninterested in Cable.
  17. I know I get adverts on Spotify because I don't pay, but WHY do they repeat the SAME bloody advert every break? They go on about "making the right ads appear for you" or whatever, but I'd rather just hear ads not meant for me after hearing this whiny bitch go on about how good Telford College is (lies tbf). --- Also, I'm stunned. spotify:album:3mjMunzEPvzb8TcRNOigdP
  18. FINALLY filmed stuff with my friend this morning (AKA the person in my film), 2 valuable days after when I wanted to. TBF got all the footage I need of him, but need to find a new female for it...the two who said they'd possibly do it can't anymore. May persuade my sister though.
  19. Listening to it now. -- So I listened to Christina Aguilera's new album...I always try and give her stuff a go, I do like her voice and nostalgia as her second album was one of my first/favourite years ago. She also has a shred more artistic credibility than most of her contemporaries. However, it's awful. Full of itself to the point of annoyance (literally, she goes on about her greatness) and shite attempts and capturing the "chart" sound comes off as dated and awkward. The ballads are nice however, as they're written/produced by Sia, and as such sound like Sia songs, sung very nicely by Aguilera, which more restraint than usual. The Santigold tracks had potential but come up flat. Yeah, bad. I know most of you wouldn't care though.
  20. £14 £5 £5 All written by Grant Morrison, drawn by Frank Quitely (except some bits of New X-Men). I'm so happy.
  21. I've never listened to The Eraser. I probably should.
  22. I love that song. The whole album's really good, I listened to it after seeing them live, they weren't all that great/representative of the album.
  23. Yeah, the All-Star Superman volumes are basically a fiver each = WIN. It's like 300 pages + in the New X-Men one isn't it? Yeah. I did it anyway, so worth it in the long run, cause I realised that when I go to bed, I'm usually too tired to read a book, and I just read through my old comics and graphic novels...so I don't know why I don't buy more. Also bid on Animal Man volume 1 on eBay for a pound. I'm just rolling around in Grant Morrison these days. I would buy myself Doom Patrol in a heartbeat but I bought it for Chair's birthday and can't justify buying it twice. Strangely though I've read almost none of his Batman stuff from the other year (only a few issues here and there and now the ongoing Batman and Robin series) or any Final Crisis stuff.
  24. Yeah I read a bit about the cancellation, how one of the writers blamed Joss for asking to be renewed to early or something... -- Glee - the newest one Eh. A good message though, and I liked how it actively confronted the moral issue of saying "fag" and the like in a good way that wouldn't just run off the metaphorical ducks back. *shrugs* No Sue. I feel cheated.
  25. ^ Stunningly good! See if I got something from New X-Men in Frank Quitely's style (he;s the artist of all those images I've posted), it wouldn't require much in the way of realism colour/tone wise, just in line-work, even though that's highly stylised anyway.
