    I've been waiting. I'm uninterested by it at the moment. That said, it took Fiona Apple 4 years to truly click for me (i.e beyond passing "like") and now she's been on repeat for the last week non-stop.

    All the Spider-Man films are just off. The second one is probably the best/msot successful, but even so, it's all wrong for a Spider-Man movie.

    I want to meet Patrick Stewart/Linda Hamilton/Katie Sackhoff/Sean Young. Once I am in Kingston and get my London look I'll be able to actually see what "comic con" is like. I can only imagine.

    A mildly interesting/provoking tidbit; So the King has been "toppled". However it seems a bit of an iffy one...half of those singles are from The Fame Monster is which is treated like a seperate album by some people, and just a repackaged version of the original by others. It doesn't really count IMO.

    Nooo...just the first bit. There's 2 whole Omnibuses of the entire run, the second released recently is about £45, and the first is nigh impossible to get ahold of for a reasonable price. Both are like 800 pages or something. This is just issues 16-19, then 26-40. I'm just debating whether to read it all now, or wait and buy this lovely object. I think I'll wait. I've got Elektra: Assassin to read atm anyway.

    The Evil That Men Do is really good. I heard it took like 6 years for all the issues to come out though. (I only read it when it was reprinted in the pages of Astonishing Spider-Man)

    Can I just say that the abridged Yu-Gi-Oh thing is hilarious. Just the voices. "My breasts are too big for this movie." "I'm going to complain about it on my livejournal."

    Well she probably just came to mind cause of Jane Lynch, even though she's completely different in this. It's just that kinda not-making-a-fuss-about-being-funny thing.

    Party Down - First episode I enjoyed. I love how they all have Juno/Sue Sylvester/Depressed faced humour. That kinda "Fuck, I'm so bored yet will reel off witty comments" attitude. I liked how it felt like nothing was made a fuss over. It was concise.

    Yeah, I loved her. And just the creative process behind it all. And frustration when people just came in and switched the stuff around/shot it down etc. I might buy it to watch again.

    Yeah I'm not bothered about what happens to Magick. I also started reading the X Factor tie in but disliked the first bit and couldnt be arsed finding the next bit. Anyone hear read Flex Mentallo? I'm guessing no. It's a spin-off by Morrison/Quitely *orgasms* from Morrison's Doom Patrol run *screams in ectasy*, and is...absolutely...amazing. I love having my thoughts provoked. Also forbidden to EVER be reprinted, so you HAVE to read it by other means. The Charles Atlas company or whatever Flex Mentallo is a parody of filed a lawsuit against DC/Vertigo, which DC won, as long as they never reprinted the series. --- Finished that. It was ridiculously affecting. A++ ---- Also just started reading Bendis' run on Daredevil, and I'm already blown by the art.

    £6.85 Would have bought more (probably Vol. 22 and Vol. 13 of Ultimate X-Men too) but I only have £20 until Tuesday and this stupid ebay win of Angel Season 5 I did my mistake/foolishly will take 7.99 from my account. Anyone want Angel Season 5..?!

    Well to be fair two of the 3 you mentioned fall into "sassy cunt rock" or whatever which is entertaining but not her definitive thing. A Sorta Fairytale I love, but again is very radio friendly. I believe in dropping you into the deep end. Listen to the shiz I posted as she's better live, but I'll throw some shit into your mailbox too. I don't like her voice now. It's different. Her voice up until 2004 is my favourite thing though.

    Thoughts from today -I love when conversation flows. -I think If people are too good looking, I can't have a decent conversation with them/we don't connect. -A man with a hunchback kept giving me really strange looks. -A friend of mine is puzzling. I think we both need to get drunk so the puzzle can solve itself. When we're both drunk is when we get on best/the conversation isn't puncuated by stilted silence every so often.

    Dan did you remember to read Second Coming: Blind Science? A semi-pointless tie-in, but it gives an indication of what Hope's powers might turn out to be. The X-Club tell jokes though.
