I screamed at tvshack having a thing from the FBI on the front page, but then ceased when I just went to the new domain.

Yes. Everyone's going on about how Jean Grey might return in Second Coming...but she clearly isn't. It's obviously about what you said, Hope bringing back mutants/signalling the second coming literally.

Most attempts at colour changes are fail though...I tentatively approve of IPaul's, if he stays with the better turqiose colour, if only cause it matches his avatar.

Oh ok. Seems a bit time-consuming compared to normal watches, but then it does remind me of Power Rangers, so it's fine. --- Astonishing X-Men Vol.2 Dangerous £2.49 Had Gifted, and was suitably impressed. I always meant to get the other volumes, but then reading lots of critical praise for Joss Whedon's run made me go and do it. I have to say that I always though that the team from Astonishing was one of the best line-ups the teams ever had. The art is so good too.

I'm blown away.

- "Florida pangs" as my family call them. Usually a result of smell (being the strongest memory trigger or whatever). Just a really strong desire to be having fun in Florida rather than not, in Scotland.

That font colour is way too harsh.

Back from a day and night at my friend's dad's estate, a.k.a our "camping" trip. Actually the exact opposite of camping, since we stayed in one of the nicest places you'll find in Scotland. My friend's family is TOO rich, and even though we stayed in the converted stables/guest-house, it was too-too much. Would be a really expensive apartment in town. And what is the "games room", with a rock-climbing wall? And I quad-biked for the first time. But yeah. The fact everything you could see around the house was owned by him make me weak-kneed, as though I had no idea what to do, or what one even does with that kind of ownership. I want to film a horror film in the "main house". It's like the hotel from the Shining, only slightly smaller and less "oh, an old fancy house!" and more "Oh, this is a modern, really classy house." But yeah, drinking, free dinner at the pub, lovely, chats. But then it felt like we didn't know what to do with ourselves.

Despite my complaints/questioning about the Wondy direction, I may actually use this to start reading it. :p I do actually know most of her history (except recent storylines), but just never bothered to read much, if any. Though I think DC'd prefer if I bought it...

I don't get a "reboot" feeling with this, the press release would mention that I think. It keeps mentioning "the old timeline" and how she may or may not get back to that timeline (red: she will, imo). I can't imagine DC would just randomly let someone erase 70 years of history for no reason - it would be One New Day taken to new extremes.

The jacket makes it way too 90's. And without it, she'd look like Wonder Girl. I like it for being more realistic though, in that such a big pro-feminism (or whatever, not really feminism, but yeah) icon really makes no sense wearing a thong.

Today felt like a non-day. Since I didn't go to bed until 7.30am, and then only got 3 hours or so sleep before being woken up by phone calls and trying to arrange a daytrip tomorrow/today. I couldn't goback to sleep cause it was so hot/stuffy. So I spent hours just with a headache and sore eyes waiting for something to wake me up. Strangely I "got over" my tiredness and played Wii and PS2 for a joke, before eventually going to bed at 8 for 3 hours. Now I'm up and just want to restore a normal sleeping pattern.

Rate The Last TV Show You Saw (Spoiler Tags for Recent US Shows!)
Paj! replied to Slaggis's topic in General Chit Chat
Half of I.T Crowd Season 1 Episode 1 I watched the first few years ago when it first came out, but figured with everyone jizzing over it again, It would make a nice little thing to start over and follow properly. I was unimpressed. I'm really tired of canned laughter TV shows these days, and things like Friends or Will and Grace I can enjoy I assume mostly due to nostalgia. I just really hate when people have annoying english accents that kill any possibility of comic timing. (Moss) And the woman wasn't ngf enough. I say ngf cause I have no idea what she wasn't , but I could tell it wasn't there. I'm sure it gets better, but I can't be arsed.- 3920 replies

People are very critical of it from what I gather. I never finished it (think I got to just past half way), and I liked the premise, but yeah...apparently it's all bit of a flat pancake in the end. Have you read any the Contagion/Cataclysm/No Man's Land stuff? I liked that.

The Harry Potter films are always "fine". They inspire nothing, and I'm just bored to death with the whole affair. I don't think 2 seperate films was necessary for this adaptation, it just extends the thing for another year +. I think I'm more keen to see Eclipse than Deathly Hallows. And I find Twilight bloody offensive in it's shiteness.

I've lost so much face in this thread. --- - Lying on a cold laminate (or marble, whatever you have in your house) floor, just because you can, and it feels great.

As Jay said, very few of these are actually "unlikely likes". More like "little things that we never mention but generally all appreciate". That's nice in itself though. Hmm. On a scorching/sunny day outside, when you put your barefeet on the tarmac/pavement, and it's all warm. Only if I've been wearing shoes and the feeling is all tingly and refreshing. I don't walk around town with barefeet.
