  1. Generally I need: The end of Second Coming, whatever that entails? X-Force, Second Coming 2 etc? Last I read was Cable emerging back in the present due to not being "organic". X-Men 1 Spidey Grim Hunt...only read the first 2 IIRC. Batman and Robin 13 JLA/JL Generation Lost if they're out Ultimate: Spidey, New Ultimates and Avengers Hulk and Incredible Hulk Did Invincible come out? Other things like that probably, I need. Ergh.
  2. Oh god no! I'm missed so much too. Dan/ReZ/Happ, I may need you to find me some lynx to said things I've missed now the shop is closed. How will I remember what I missed? *panics*
  3. ... I don't know how this happened. I'm sorry. I'm over it already though.
  4. The guy's a fine comic artist, but the poster doesn't work. There's no focus, and I agree that trying to mesh classical poses with that particular comic style didn't work. If Frank Quitely did it, it would be perfect though.
  5. I don't really wear hats these days, I wore a little beanie/hat that is just wool and fits around your head a few months ago, because I couldn't be bothered doing my hair and it was disgusting. Only for a few days though. I used to (few years ago), wear one while walking to and from school each day to preserve my hair. Then my precious hair damaged my eyes and I couldn't stand a fringe anymore, so I stopped caring. When I was 13 I used to wear a bandana. And I couldn't pull it off. :p I might revive it one day.
  6. It's a lovely place, I've been in and around it a lot due to family friends living there. Not sure why I even applied, just for the joke.
  7. It's the best. I think I love it most because in the end, it manages to tell a moving story too. (to a degree)
  8. Oh fuck off.
  9. Tell me about it.
  10. Please get rid of the full-stops in the title. I like comedy TV, not keen on most stand-up or "comedy films". My favourites: The last one isn't well known enough. It's so black, but brilliant.

    Eminem

This has completely passed me by. Lost what interest I had years ago. I thought he retired anyway.
  12. - I'm Henry/Henners/Hen/Hezza/Henroid - I'm 18 - I'm a student, just finished my Art/Design Foundation Year in Edinburgh and going to Kingston University to study Film-making this September - I am...Sasha Fierce - I love comics and comic-book universes sew much
  13. Overrated and overexposed. Imo.
  14. I'd just want to hear things that I'm stunned to even hear. The time I heard Crucify by She made me so happy. Just cause I knew there was a little EWF working at Ocean Terminal.
  15. I lol'd so much. I love the image. I like her/she wrote some amazing songs, but she has Tori Amos syndrome. Used to be great, now shite. She's become Fegina. And only now has she become "well-known". Which is silly. Also, Cat Power - Wild Is The Wind won the thread earlier.
  16. My fave thread. My friend saw her last night in Paris, apparently she was great. I'm not currently in a Tori phase, but we all know she's imprinted on me. But yeah, she's a scary artist to love and recommend, as you fear people will search her up and hear her recent stuff and understandably never try again.
  17. Just have the writing without the background, it takes away. It does look like an Action Figure series logo, but I quite like that. I like how (for example) Katy Perry has a "logo" that looks like a brand. And it reminds me of ships/old metal as is.
  18. Please do it. It'll restore your faith in humanity. --- I SRSLY need to watch the Wire. I never finished Series 1, even though I bought it, and it's 12 episodes. It takes so much out of you. I might vow to do that when I get home and have "nothing" to do. I always forget though.
  19. I have a love/hate relationship with it. Spent almost 2 years dong and redoing and refining my big A-level essay on it, which drove me insane. But then I felt proud, as it was because my teacher felt it was hard to actually say anything new or interesting about the book, and so to get an A/prove him wrong in the end made me happy. At the end of the school year people were burning things on the fancy lawn (classy) and I gave them my copy of it.
  20. I dunno...I'm all for catchy, disposable pop music when the time is right, but from what I do hear, most chart hits atm seem to be lazy songs based around tired electronic blippy beats. I'd rather have catchy rubbish than dull rubbish if we're rooting around the skip in the first place. :/ It's not awful, I just feel nothing towards it.
  21. Exactly. Since I kinda had no interest in a Thor movie when it was mentioned, and heard it would be an "epic", I imagined like Clash of the Titans, mythical generica, but of course Norse stuff, and especially how it's portrayed in the comics is a bit different.
  22. Why I avoid the radio. ^
  23. Batman/Superman Apocalypse looks meh. More interested in Under The Red Hood. But then I disliked the other Batman/Superman film. I haven't read either story the films are based on though.
  24. Also, this, another personal favourite. And one that manages to capture the terror of the song in all it's simplicity.
  25. Just to get it out of the way, one of the very best videos will always be: Even if you dislike Bjork's music, this video is a triumph. 11 years old now too. ---
