Pretty much this. Something I have learned in the last few months: if you're potentially interested in a girl, don't talk to her until you ask her out. If she rejects you, fully, and you still want to be friends with her (fully understanding nothing will happen) then do so. Never try and be friends with a girl thinking that something might happen down the line. It won't. Do not think that being friends is some kind of gateway. I've experienced this twice in the last few weeks, and so now my approach has all changed. I've actually done a lot of learning on this kind of front recently and feel much better for it. Also: on both recent occassions as mentioned, I (after asking them out) backed down and told them I wanted to stay friends. In one case of the two in particular, I have no idea why. I just don't think I'll ever really see her or speak to her or whatever without wanting to be more. I have no interest in remaining "friends" because frankly, without being more than that, she just annoys me. But it's an easy trap to fall into, which I did. In retrospect now, I wish I had laid it out for her, given her the option, and left it there. Don't ask, get rejected, and then retreat and say "oh thats okay, lets be friends instead" because bugger that. I don't care about that. It's pathetic. You know, on that topic, I've kinda come to this stupid thought: I should cut ties with her, and then bring back the relationship way down the line, and hope I've changed enough for her to consider it. And now I hate myself even more for having such a crap thought. I'm gonna leave this thread. Once again I have nothing to contribute. If I get the energy tomorrow I'll run through the thread and try and examine it all more closely, but right now I'm running on empty.

The man who Miles ripped off and subsequently gave the money back to - does he have any relevance? Is he connected in any way, or was he just a random guy?

Thats rubbish, because I had a card removed from my account. Although, when I did it, it was an English guy. He didn't know what to do either, but said he would "ask his manager and have his manager call back within 48 hours". Three days later I hadn't had a call back, but the card was removed.

I just realised something: The three games I'm most looking forward to this year are all the sequels to 07's big new IP. Namely: Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed 2. The only thing missing from the big second half of 07 as I remember it is a new Orange Box.

I went out to a party and got a little bit drunbk. I hate people who post drunk so I am typing very slowly t oget it all right. Made a couple of mistakes but I will go back and fix them after. Pretty much didn't go to plan at all. Was supposed to be meeting a girl who I'm interested in at the party, but she never showed up. My planned move ruined completely, then. But then, don't know how, I ended up with another girl who's not bad at all. But she then says to me"no, we can't, because xxx will hate me", xxx being a girl who likes me but I have no interest in at all. So instead of getting together with 1 girl, she didn't show, and instead of getting with another, I'm sent packing because of some other fat bint who I don't like. ARgh. To cider and all it creates!

Don't think I ever 100%'d Tooie, actually. Completed it a couple of times, but unlike Kazooie (which I must have beat 5+ times, at least 3 of which were 100%) I never did get a huge compulsion to come back to it time after time. I fully intend on doing so this time around.

Liking how both hands are out at the same time, so no messing around with switching from plasmid to gun and back. Small thing but should make it alot easier.

Brilliant piece of journalism. I think if I'd realised how long it was I wouldn't have started reading, but I'm glad I did. Theres almost too much for me to really comment on. My one overriding thought is: this just sums up the flaws inherent in a Capitalist ideology, and is entirely unsustainable.

Easiest way to complete this is to sit at the edge and spring over him when he rams at you. I completed it in about 7 seconds with this method. At the time that put me at Rank 4 on the Worldwide leaderboard :awesome:

Truth. The final final fight with Wesker (in the Volcanoe) can be ended with one rocket launcher headshot. Before he jumps across to Sheva or you smash the boulder up. One headshot kills him fully.
