I'm not saying he tried to lynch me. Just that he used his power on me, whatever that may be.
-
Its my power to know he targeted me. And I'm not saying he did it in a bad way, in fact I'd say its more likely hes a townie because it would have been an unnecessary risk for the mafia to target me last night, when there are so many people that they can be more confident of being safe. I only voted for him to wake a few people up and get them thinking / revenge for him not trusting me yesterday :p

He targeted me last night so I'm getting my revenge. Don't think he would be mafia they wouldn't have risked me bluffing yesterday when they have safer targets.

Neither: they are pool.

Would go if it was within a days drive...but I'm guessing it won't be

I'd just like to announce something about my role. I'm immune to night killing and I get told who targets me. Just putting that out there.

This is pretty much exactly not how to play these games.

Boss at my first job was an absolute asshat. Eventually I walked out half way through a shift after he gave me a disciplinary meeting for being late. Fair enough you might think, if I was late then I should be punished. But why was I late? I worked Saturdays and Sundays, and he changed my shift to an hour earlier on Monday, without calling me to mention it. Apparently it was my fault for not calling them to check my shift, even though I had written down what was there originally as I left the previous Sunday. So basically he expected me to call them every day just to make sure they hadn't swapped my hours. He actually said at one point "its not my job to make sure you know when you're working". Erm, I'm pretty sure the definition of a manager is a person who manages, as in, organizes, their staff. Le sigh.

Sure why not. Now that we've had a bit of a break hopefully they will get better again :p

- Gizmo / 18 / Scotland - Just finished high school, and moving to Glasgow in September to study Theoretical Physics - I am as nerdy as that sounds - You should never feed me after midnight - I play the guitar, but really badly - I repeat myself alot - I'm socially inept, due to the previously mentioned nerditude - Never get me wet - I become more sociable when I'm tired because my brain shuts off a little and it becomes easier for me - I repeat myself alot - I'm the operator with my pocket calculator - I can't think of anything else interesting right now

I'm somewhat inclined to agree with the idea of sub forums for Music, Movies, Books. A megathread such as the Music one was just off putting, I'd actively avoid it because alot of what was posted in there was completely against my own taste and I couldnt be arsed to scroll past the 20 pop music posts to find the one gem posted by Jay or Bard or whoever. I discovered some amazing music via that thread, but haven't venture into it for months. On the other hand, either a) a new thread for each artist to me is gonan clog up the general board or b) people wont bother posting it at all because they thinks its too niche and will only get 2-3 posts. A sub forum for it to me is the happy middle ground. You'd click that open in the same way you would the megathread, but without the intimidation of scrolling past 20 posts by Chair and Paj. I never really ventured into the Movies thread because I am not a huge movie-goer, but a sub forum would be easier to find a discussion for a new release that I saw. The current system of new threads for each movie still works better than the old one thread system, but to me a sub forum makes even more sense. And a Books forum encompassing comics / manga / novels would probably generate more discussion for those so far as I can tell, as again it allows a small thread for each but doesnt mean there are 5 comicbook threads on page 1 for only 5 people to venture into.

"Man are you hungry? I haven't eaten since later this afternoon" Well that was pretty awesome. Managed to follow most of it until about an hour in, then it all moved a bit fast and I got lost a little. But I think I got the gist of it. Reminds me alot of Donnie Darko. Definately needs 2-3 watches at least to fully understand. 8/10

I like the sound of this movie, I shall watch it either tonight / tomorrow and post my thoughts.

Went to turn my laptop on last night. LED on the power button came on I could hear the fan start to turn but nothing happened. Nothing appeared on screen, no sound came from the speakers. The LED just stays on and nothing happens. I've tried it with the power supply and battery, just the battery, and just the power supply. No dice. Yesterday it got quite a heavy bash on the keyboard (my friend dropped the top of his guitar onto it), and though it continued to work fine as it was until I turned it off, it hasn't been able to boot up since. Seems to me like a motherboard problem? I'm trying to work it out with Dell Support, but they are useless, so I figured I'd post it on here and see what you guys had to say about it aswell. It should be in warranty I think so I should be able to get it repaired, but if theres an easier solution to be found in the wisdom of N-E I'm all ears :awesome:

Fuck I'm annoyed I didn't make more effort, cause I totally could have actually gone to this if I had really wanted to. Can we make the next one a bit further north? Sheffield would be ideal, cause I know some other people around there that I could make more of a trip out of it to see them aswell.

I got a Wildfire the other day (little brother to the Desire) and I'm loving the software. The completely customizable homescreens are brilliant - use the calendar alot? Have it on the first screen. Use it every now and then? Put it on a side screen. Barely use it at all? Consign it to the app list. And you can do this with absolutely everything, from the clock to the games that you buy. Its awesome.

I got it while surfing on holiday this year...kicking my legs to catch the wave, my calf just entirely "pinged" and I couldn't move it at all. Trying to swim back to shore with only 3 limbs was somewhat difficult :p Then when I went back out, half an hour alter I got the exact same thing in the other leg...could barely walk across the sand afterwards. All good fun!

Gizmo replied to cellac's topic in General Chit Chat
Whats an i-mate JASJAR? Kinda sounds like a new Apple product, a robot best friend type thing. -
I once fell asleep in a shopping trolley on the way back from a 3am Tesco run, and awoke several hours later still in the trolley in my friends living room.

I put on a rerun of some tv show I've already seen and half watch it while playing some sort of puzzle game on the DS.

I'm a pizza delivery boy. Hell to the yeah. But in September I'm starting at Uni studying Theoretical Physics, which makes me about as big an anorak as its possible to be.
