  1. Whoohooo, we're talking about movies. Oh...80s and 90s movies... YOU'RE OLD I always want to watch those huge movies from that time but I never get around to it. Never seen the likes of Top Gun, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future. Maybe as a wee lad, but I can't remember.
  2. The steady decline in activity over the years has other reasons, sure. But I know for a fact that right now the forum sees less activity from some regulars (me included) because of the stuff we see here.
  3. Ah, so that's possible, too. Works just fine there as well. Only without the fancy prompt dialogue, of course. It Just asks for the input in the terminal (Your weight and then Your height). Interesting. It's a good thing then, that I tried it on both platforms. Thanks for the help
  4. The objective is the "Code Project" of the "Control Flow" section of the Python course. Learned about boolean logic, if and else statements and loops. It's just a little exercise to put what I've learned into practice. I use "Run Selection/Line in Interactive Window" to run the code. It lets me input the necessary values and outputs the result. It works completely fine there. An input window opens up with "Your weight" and after that another one with "Your height". Once the inputs are down it prints the BMI (normal, underweight, etc). I'd say, my code is fine (spoken like a true coder, I assume? ) but somehow the Sololearn terminal does something weird?
  5. I don't know how to answer that Yeah, I wonder why, though. As I mentioned in my edit above, when I remove the strings, it works fine.
  6. Need help...gotta make a BMI calculator. And here's what I get when I run the code via the Sololearn page: However, when I run the code on VS Code it works just fine: Edit: When I remove "Your weight" and "Your height" in input() it goes through as "correct". I wonder why it outputs the strings on Sololearn but not in VS Code.
  7. I was in the process of writing what you've just posted and then the "SOMEONE HAS POSTED SOMETHING THAT YOU'RE WRITING YOU DUMB DUMB" pop-up showed up Yeah. You're spot on when saying there's no content to back up a 2 hour show... There just wasn't any need for the show Because he needs to be in the spotlight. Thank goodness. While I miss the hype around E3, I also can appreciate a 60-90 minute showing once or twice a year per publisher.
  8. Haven't had any errors so far. Just kidding, soooo many errors. Always syntax, though. Edit: Aaaaand some new errors arise. Man, I need to get into the problem-solving mindset of a coder. Gotta look up some resources on that. I hate double negatives no matter where they turn up. Guess I just gotta live with it Doing a small lesson on loops now. Doing my head in already.
  9. Not surprised the forum's dead.
  10. Incredible. Back buttons are a game changer. Hope this'll be available to buy not long after CoD: MWII.
  11. Yeah, I worded it a bit weird. I wanted to execute code that I've just written with a simple command or rather shortcut. Figured out a way in Visual Studio Code. Now I can just highlight certain lines of code, press "Shift + Enter" and that code is executed in an interactive window. By the way: fuck the "not operator". It's "double negative" in code and I hate it already
  12. Haven't done anything for a while, but got a question before I get back to it: I'm using Visual Studio Code while following some lessons, writing code that I just learned and trying things out with it. But I manually have to execute the code and I still don't really understand how exactly it works (with the Terminal and all that jazz). Is there a kind of "playground" that I could set up? Something that automatically executes code as soon as it's written down? Is something like this even possible/sensible?
  13. I've skipped PSVR and probably won't be able to acquire PSVR2 in 2023, but I'll definitely try to get one later. Can't wait to properly give VR a go, though. Hope there's a healthy library of games available once I make the jump I do wonder what "early 2023" means, though. Before/in March?
  14. That's a clear booking and in turn send off for keeping hold of the ball this long
  15. Very fun game to watch.
  16. Interesting. I disagree, but interesting
  17. And that's why I, personally, always make the distinction between a rogue-like and a rogue-lite, the latter being a game where you can unlock upgrades/equipment/etc. that persist throughout runs. And that's why I'd call Returnal a rogue-lite. Anyways, not going to try and make you feel different about the game. It seems you really dislike rogue-lites/likes. I gotta ask, though: Didn't you know this was a game from that genre? If you knew beforehand, you probably would've known that this one isn't for you.
  18. Drop everything you're doing and watch Severance.
  19. By the way, @Julius, will you tackle the Challenge of the Gods?
  20. For the horror fans out there. I'm staying clear
  21. After playing SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated I can say: I'm excited This looks really good.
  22. Play Astro's Playroom as soon as possible. Best platformer in ages and the DualSense is showcased marvelously.
  23. Yeah, I got PS+ Premium for no extra cost until next January but if it keeps up like this...I will stick with PS+ Extra. And oooohhhh boy has PS+ Extra been good (aside from the garbage that is The Artful Escape). And this month is great, too. I'll definitely play Yakuza Kiwami 2 to finally keep that story going for me And I will try to find out why H-o-T thinks that Trials of Mana belongs into the depths of hell
