  1. Okokokok. Let his be real. I only want Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. LET THIS BE REAL.
  2. Even if we don't make it, I'll have someone to support in the final. NOT ENGLAND. Just kidding, if le lose tonight I'll be rooting for England
  3. I was bored so I made three more diagrams of my gaming journey so far: Not bad, not bad. A few disappointments. Tales of Arise was pretty bad and Halo 2: Anniversary was a technical disaster. And the top 4 are no surprise Well, this is easy to explain: Both Nintendo and Microsoft offer nothing of interest to me Still, playing through the Halo series at the start of 2022 and the occasional other PC game (+ one mobile game) was fun (for the most part). But nothing to sway me over to these systems. And one for @Hero-of-Time: With the arrival of PS+ Big Chungus edition in June, the number of Platinums I've acquired has increased drastically. Mostly due to the instant availability of shorter experiences.
  4. Lost Words: Beyond the Page It really was brutal. For me especially, because I've experienced the loss of my dad and some of the journal parts hit home. Quite a few tears were shed I was surprised to see how much that the game depicted I've gone through myself. Right through the end, which is exactly where I arrived years ago. It sounds bleak, but there's nothing you can do to change the past. There's always going to be a part of you that's sad. But with that there's all the good memories, too. Lovely game. Highly recommended.
  5. Not great, not too bad. My recommendation in case you wanna give this game a try: Stick to the main quests. The rest overstays its welcome very fast. Already at 49 games played this year. I'm going to crush last year's number, which was 52.
  6. Well, I guess it's time to watch the first three movies again
  7. Final Fantasy VII: Remake INTERmission Pretty fun introduction of Yuffie It's very linear and the all the interesting story bits happen in the last 30 minutes, but I enjoyed my time with it. Sonon and Yuffie are stupidly OP, though Not going to bother with the two chapters on hard difficulty, though. Maybe when we're closer to FFVII: Rebirth.
  8. Don't care about Shadow Fall mp, but this probably means that you can't play Intercept with friends anymore. That sucks. Well...*removes the game from my "Planned 2022" list*
  9. You know what? I misread your previous post. I thought you wanted the Netherlands to do us over. Hence the gif. Sorry
  10. I was out of the loop so I looked it up. Ah yes, people harassing the devs because of leaks. Never gets old This remaster isn't for me. Looks great and the changes plus accessibility settings are incredible, but I've played the PS3 and PS4 games. No need for another playthrough It will be a great start for people new to the series. Already know three people waiting for September to get into it
  11. Go Germany Well deserved. Should've locked it down earlier, the ladies were a bit unlucky at times. Semi-final will be a banger against either France or Netherlands
  12. Stupid Americans Been going through the lessons I did on Sololearn again and added the commands and what they do to a file that I can always look at (and run) if need be. Makes it easier for me to look up stuff as it's a bit iffy on Sololearn. Now to figure out how to "run" the file outside of the program "Visual Studio Code" Edit: YouTube to the rescue. It wasn't too difficult.
  13. Thank you so much. Such a simple solution.
  14. So here's a quick and dirty question about Python: This is what I've written in order to convert Celsius to Kelvin: Celsius = int(input()) Kelvin = Celsius + 273,15 print(Kelvin) The thing is, when I input a number I get a mathematically correct result, however it's being output (can you say it like that?) in parentheses. Why?
  15. Fuck me sideways, this is incredible
  16. Stray A gorgeous cat walking-simulator/exploration adventure with great world building. Had a lot of fun with it. Definitely worth your time if you're into games like that. PS+ Giga Chad Edition keeps on giving.
  17. A very enjoyable co-op PvE shooter with the occasional round of PvP. PvE: a run that consists of 4 bosses (you can continue afterwards; you can also quit the run anytime you want) you go through several "biomes", fight hordes of enemies and complete various challenges (e.g. "Close Data Breaches" - gather in a defined area to close a breach while fending of enemies) difficulty increases steadily (after "completing" a biome, deafiting a boss or increasing it for a fee at a shop) PvP: in every biome there's a shop where you can start "Battle Mode" it's one round where everyone fights for glory and loot e.g.: Deathmatch, Tile Drop (think Hexagon Heat from Mario Party 2, but with baseball bat and without Toad) the winner gets loot (money, weapons, stat upgrades) There are certain teams with challenges you can accept. Usual cosmetic shenanigans are included (free and paid stuff). My mates and I completed several runs and enjoyed it for what it was: mindless shooting Will probably play it some more but without some regular content updates, it'll run out of steam very soon. Still: Another great addition to the PS+ sub.
  18. Too hot to play video games. Fuck this heat. 37°C over here and it'll "cool down" to 27°C tonight...
  19. I assume Stackoverflow is a coding community? Completed the first two chapters of "Python for Beginners". Learnt about simple operations, strings, integers, floats, escape character and more. Also set up Visual Studio 2022 with Python so I can dabble with what I've learnt. Baby steps
  20. Same I've recently started a part time job in QA in a software development company. Asked around what a good introduction to learning was and a colleague (she studies business informatics) recommended Sololearn. I have only done three lessons in "Python for Beginners" so I can't comment on its effectiveness, yet, but I gotta say: Python seems to be very beginner friendly. There's also CS50’s Introduction to Computer Science, a free course from Harvard. It's supposed to be a really good introduction to get you into the "coding mindset". Haven't given it a go, yet.
  21. No idea what you wrote initially, because you edited your post I kinda wanted to engage more after you posted the sales figures but it didn't take too long for negativity to arrive and derail the conversation, so I didn't bother.
