  1. HUGE SPOILERS. DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW ANYTHING. @Julius DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT THE STUFF IN YOUR SPOILER TAG THINK I'M GONNA MAKE THIS MY STANDARD FONT FORMATTING!
  2. I have never played that game, so I can't comment on that.
  3. Tried to be as spoiler-free as possible, i.e. in very first area against a wall, no gear, nothing. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR A SHRINE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! AND FOR TWO OF THE GAME'S MECHANICS (WHICH HAVE BEEN SHOWN IN VARIOUS TRAILERS).
  4. Is sharing screenshots with the Switch still limited to Twitter?
  5. I'm pleasantly surprised myself, too It's not great, but enjoyable enough for now.
  6. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
  7. Looking forward to reading all the impressions starting Friday. Been lucky enough to be able to play my mate's copy on Switch for a while now (his local retailer never disappoints breaking street dates - don't tell the big 3). And the big question you all want answered: Does stupid drahkon dislike TotK as much as he dislikes BotW?
  8. I could give you the information, if you like.
  9. Seems to be working fine.
  10. Descenders is pretty good, but I already own it. The rest...booooh Not interested, but not too bothered. It's objectively a good month but not for me. *goes back to playing one of the other gazillion games available on PS+*
  11. Thanks to some real life stuff I haven't played much these last few weeks. I spent quite a bit of time with Undermine, though. A lovely rogue-lite. Starts off a little too slow but once you unlock some stuff it ramps up pretty quickly. Well worth the money and time. Started Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom last night. Seems fun. Pre-ordered MH:R Sunbreak, of course. Can't play it on release day, though, as I will be in France that weekend
  12. Still haven't made a decision My copy seems to be on its way (could arrive today, could arrive in a few days ). I'll probably just get each game one by one over the next few months and keep the physical copy sealed.
  13. @Julius After 1 month I've reached the final 10 episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. If the ending is as amazing as everything has been so far...9.99999/10. Why not 10/10? Because it's yet another story where... Anyways, not sure when I'll finish the anime. Maybe over the next few days depending on whether I can get away from my PS5.
  14. Sweet. Paid for my pre-order copy already. Now the important question: Do I use it or keep it sealed and spend the extra cash on the digital versions?
  15. Yeah, some people have that power
  16. Urgh, someone mentioned me in the thread I've successfully avoided so far...oh it's Julius. Let's see what he has to say. ... Fuck you, Julius.
  17. What is this anime? I somehow thought it was a light-hearted and funny action anime with a good story. I've reached episode 20 (which is apparently going to be a big one) and I've gotten: incredible characters mystery laughter misdirection cool fights heartbreak tears I need this to stop
  18. Loved the first season. Two criticisms, though: A few more infected encounters would've been great (not so much for my mum ) and the show occasionally didn't make passage of time clear enough. It wasn't a big deal for me as I know the game, but my mom was confused at times and I had to explain stuff to her. Speaking of, she still has to watch the final two episodes. Whoooo boy, can't wait to hear her thoughts on how it'll all play out.
  19. Haven't played a lot these past few weeks thanks to some troubles. Managed to finish a few quick ones in January and February: Crown Trick Vampire Survivors: Legacy of Moonspell DLC Super Stardust Portable No Thing YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (not really a "quick" one, but I rushed through it - not worth the time, in case you're thinking about giving it a go) Dungeon Top Streets of Rogue So far in March it's only been: Outriders Roguebook Didn't expect to enjoy Outriders as much as I did. It's quite repetitive but you eventually become pretty powerful and the shooting + skills are very satisfying. Currently playing this again with a mate and it's even more fun in coop. Roguebook is a lovely deck-building roguelite. But, just as many other games of that genre, it suffers from horrible controls. It seems only Slay the Spire managed to get it right on consoles. Besides the coop run through Outriders I'm playing Monster Hunter: Rise. The village quests have been piss easy so far, which is quite disappointing. Gonna leave the hub quests for some coop sessions when a mate finds some more free time. I'm enjoying the game, but Monster Hunter World is much better. Hoping to get into a gaming groove again. Once I'm done with the village quests in MH:R I'm going to give Scarlet Nexus a go.
  20. Started watching Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood because of a friend's recommendation. Motherfucker didn't tell me that it will destroy me emotionally. 4 episodes in and tears have been shed. Also loved that the show just casually throws in god in the second episode. "Haha, main characters fucked up. Here it is: the universe, everything, the truth, god!"
  21. Got the Platinum, so I did it all (I did, however, use a glitch to get the hardest trophy which normally has you run through pretty much the entire game without dying). Took me quite a while to complete all levels. Spread it out over a few days 'cause I got frustrated pretty quickly at times.
  22. Well, that has changed It's now 50/50. Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is great, but when you don't know about 80-90% of the songs because you never played the majority of the games it's a tad...boring is the wrong word, but I don't know how else to describe it. 5 hours in and it's not bad. It's a - what the Angry Video Game Nerd so eloquently describes as - "where the fuck do I go kinda game". I'm all for exploring and less handholding but holy hell this is a bad one. You basically gotta talk to everyone and if you're unlucky the one you need to talk to in order to trigger something is the last one Wild Arms' battles are also a prime example for why there needs to be a speed-up option for the emulation. It's good turn-based fun, but sooooo slow. Characters and story seem fine so far. There's a bit of mystery to the origin of, well, everything. Especially the bad guys. Are they aliens? Are they ancient beings? Quite interesting. Anyways, not playing much these days. Only finished 4 games in February and I doubt it'll change much for March. Real life is keeping me busy (it's good for my wallet, though. Aside from the PS+ Premium sub I've only spent 35 bucks on gaming so far ).
  23. Thanks for the writeups and videos Had to laugh out loud at the elevator mishap. I think every Souls-player gets at least one of those Indeed The world needs Bloodborne 2
