(my settings in bold) This how I have always played and will play during our league. May pick this up tomorrow. Tuesday at the latest. Won't have time to play for two weeks after Wednesday, though (Should be able to do some matches on weekends, if we decide to start our league soon)

Gonna use this thread, as I don't think it's necessary to create a new one just for this question. Looking to spend a weekend in London in December. Should I book a hotel room/a bed in a hostel beforehand or could I just walk into a hostel and get a room right then and there? (will probably be for 4-5 people). Any recommendations for a cheap but still rather comfortable hotel/hostel?

Good port, but it's an old game so it should run perfectly on a slightly better console. Nothing that impresses me :p

I misread the patch notes. Somehow I interpreted it as: every Legendary Weapon/Armor you have will turn into blue ones. Turns out it was just about engrams :p If you don't look it up and don't coordinate perfectly you'll need several sessions (unless you play 10 hours straight). A mate did it with a group. They didn't know anything and they had to do four 3 hour sessions.

What exactly does that last sentence mean? Current Legendaries will be rare items after the patch...so will there be new and better Legendaries? Well, unless they introduce a loot table, these changes won't do much for me. Have done some PvP matches with the Hunter. It's fun. The class is very fast paced. It has made me want Advanced Warfare even more

Halfway through number9dream by David Mitchell It's a masterpiece. A perfect blend of reality and fantasy, sometimes so incredibly mixed together you can't tell them apart. Haven't enjoyed a novel this much since The End of Mr Y. Can't wait to see how it all plays out. Someone recommended it months/years ago...can't remember, who. Was it @dwarf gourami? Or @jayseven? Or @Supergrunch?

I'm inbetween semesters right now and am too lazy to study (which is why I've failed many exams ). That's why I've played so much. I agree with you, if I'd only played 3-5 hours per week I'd still be on it. But, I can't stress that enough, I thoroughly enjoyed every second I spent with Destiny. : peace:

Had an idea: Maybe we could do something with the Skill Games. Something like a weekly competition. Someone chooses a skill game, we all have one week to get the highest score (the highest score of this week only), make a screenshot, post it, and I will always win, because I OWN. Think it could be fun :p

Or you could just write that post, make it coherent, factual and leave it open to discussion instead of making this passive aggressive statement. I for one, would appreciate if you made a post where you explain (in detail) why you think "the industry is heading for a crash". I'm not into the business side of video gaming like others are, but I am interested in things like this. And if someone says "LOL PS4/M$ owns", ignore them and focus on your point and those who answer without spouting crap like that. Anyway, reviews are out for Bayonetta 2. Don't want to read them to avoid spoilers, but is there any news about how long the game is? It will decide whether I'll get it in November or rather around Christmas.

You get both the first Bayonetta and the new installment. If it's not your kind of game, you really shouldn't pay full price for the double pack, though. If you don't enjoy the gameplay, it just isn't worth it, in my opinion. I loved Bayonetta and can't wait to get the second one, but I have to wait until December

Same here. By all means, the PES demo isn't bad, but it feels kinda slow. FIFA 15 may be too fast for some, but I prefer a fast pace. FIFA also has a lot more animations. It just feels better. The Fox Engine is fucking beautiful, though.

Alright...having played 76 hours with my level 27 Titan (plus 5 hours with both my lvl 14 Hunter and level 11 Warlock) I can say I'm done with this game for a while. Sadly, I won't have the time to do the raid for at least one or two months. And I've seen the rest of the game so many times now in 86 hours...I need new content :p Guess I'll have to wait for December. I'll probably try to level up both the Hunter and Warlock in preparation for the first expansion and play the occasional Crucible match, other than that, I'm done. It has been a hell of a ride, though 60€ well spent...I mean, the 86 hours speak for themselves. And I enjoyed every single one. However,... The game needs a lot of essential features (UI changes, trading, matchmaking for everything, filter options for PvP). It needs a HELL of a lot more varied content (strikes should've been more than: run, kill, boss - the raid appears to be a good example of how it should've been done). The fucking network code has to be improved or possibly even completely redone (sooo many people have this one stupid issue with the hit detection: it lags...to the point where you can melee hit a Guardian, he doesn't die for 1-2 whole seconds and in the meantime he kills you...and AFTER THAT he dies of your hit). I had the same issue with the Halo games. And no, it's not my connection because every other online shooter runs fine :p (no idea why the issue is present..I read somewhere that Destiny doesn't use dedicated servers? Would they help? I don't know anything about that stuff) Bungie has to deliver and keep their promise ('this is only the beginning, Destiny will be BIG'). The first expansion needs to add/improve A LOT. If not...I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for the second add on. If nothing changes then...well played with all the marketing... Show me that you have a plan, show me you deserve those sales. If the game simply stays like this I may turn into one of those "this is some overhyped shit game"-guys (which will be the lesser of their problems...the press will be all over them if they don't do anything good)

Won't have time to do the raid for 3-4 weeks. Lots of socializing planned, the nerd in me has to wait Tried the Weekly Nightfall Strike. Meh...Minotaurs are pretty unfair. They do an INSANE amount of damage, can teleport 5-6 times in 3 seconds, have a shield and always come in groups of at least 3.

Considering the 3DS userbase in Japan and the ongoing success of said system, it isn't special to me. Sorry, I didn't mean to talk about the matter objectively. Objectively, yeah, it's something special and I'm glad it sold that amount. But it's so nice to read that whenever you post something that isn't the opinion of the masses/or worded badly it's "laughable". Sometimes I wonder why I even bother posting anything outside the "Other Console Board".

They aren't anything special compared to Destiny or any other game. They aren't anything special, at all. The 3DS is doing great in Japan and Smash is quite popular, so the sales aren't surprising. Happy the sales are this good, mind. Destiny sales itself are surprising, though. Console market is dead over there and the game doesn't seem to be something that Japanese gamers would play/buy. Interesting it sold so 'much'.

Bought that helm. It's quite awesome. Greatly upgrades Fist Of Havoc! Got an Exotic Armor for my Warlock from the Exotic Engram. Have one piece of Exotic Armor for every Class now : peace: Done all the Vanguard Bounties just now and will do some PvP later today.
