Gave the game a go just now. There goes my life. Played a couple of Adventure Mode levels...awesome. Played the Classic Modes...awesome. Remembered there are competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes...awesome. The mix of old, perfect gameplay with small and simple, yet effective and quite game changing mechanics (i.e. supers, drones and most importantly: the stage shape!) makes GW3 such a great game. Presentation is also top notch. Music is FUCKING AMAZING. Easily a GOTY contender for me. Come on people. It's only 15€. BUY IT. GIVE ME SCORES TO BEAT. I NEED YOU.

Thing is, games like these (Resogun, Super Stardust HD and Geometry Wars) are virtually infinitely replayable. Retro Evolved is easily my most played 360 game ever and I'm quite sure that GW3 will top that. Same with the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Bought Advanced Warfare and GTA V, but I'm playing Isaac (even though I've played the original version) the most these days. Top-notch gameplay + a pick-up-and-play-aspect = great games. And with my current lifestyle (university, studying, socialising, starting a relationship) this kind of entertainment simply fits. Not a lot of time for gaming. As soon as the Christmas Hollidays begin it's time for GTA V, Far Cry 4, Smash Bros, CoD, etc. etc. But right now, GW3 is my most anticipated game

The reason why I bought my Wii U is almost here. Fucking finally But Geometry Wars 3 will reduce my Smash playtime quite a lot, I reckon. :p

Wednesday would be perfect. I'll probably have the whole day off. Give me a time and I'll be online I don't have my headset with me, so if we want to communicate beforehand we best do it via PSN messages. My team: FC Bayern Munich. I recently posted something about a lady who lives a 4 1/2 hour train ride away and that, even though she's really awesome, I don't want a long distance relationship. Yesterday she came over to visit me, we had an amazing evening, she obviously spent the night, and this morning we kissed. I decided that she's much too great to let the opportunity go by. If we decide to try a long distance relationship and it goes well: Great. If it doesn't, then it's just not meant to be. Anyway, right now I'm happy. That's currently all that matters, as I haven't felt this great in years.

Oh my god, it's only one week away. The end is nigh. The release will be awesome. Hopefully I'll get the game Friday morning and then it's time to play the game for 72 hours straight It's also my birthday the day after the European release A Smashing Birthday... I'll get my coat. #smashingnicelookingbirds

Just reached the desert by playing through some story missions (didn't want to go there before I got to that point). It looks absolutely astounding Will now grab a plane and explore the beautiful countryside : peace:

Shame there hasn't been a thread until now... Currently a free game for PS+ subscribers (cross buy! cross save!). Also available on Steam (and I think it will be released on WiiU/3DS in the future). People need to play this. You people need to play this. Please play this. It's a dungeon crawler with randomly generated dungeons (i.e. layout, enemies, items you get). Have spent a lot of time with this in short (now they're rather long as the story - kind of - progresses) sessions. It's one of those "just one more run"-games. : peace:

Trust me, there is SO much to do. I take it you haven't played GTA V, yet? So I'll put the following into a spoiler tag (there's not much of a spoiler in there...just how the "type" of some missions). However, if you want to get a SHITLOAD of money later in the game (i.e. about $1.5billion for each character, you should read it (I didn't do it on the PS3 version, as I blasted through the story and missed the opportunity)

4 or 3 star teams only. 3 may be a bit low. Playing with 3 star teams is quite difficult (especially with no assists...yes, I'll be the only one without assists, but I don't want to have to deal with shitty players, too :p) So, again: 4 star teams! Only one for each participant. No changes!

Done the first few missions. Already worth the full price tag even though I already played the game a year ago : peace: Seriously, the first person view makes all the difference. It's also nice to play an FPS without health regeneration Driving in first person mode is great, as well. Many hours will be put into this again. This time into the online mode, too.

GTA V already was an amazing game when it got released on last gen consoles. But after playing the prologue and the first mission I can say: It got better. : peace: Punching people in first person is as fun as gaming gets Shame though, that GTA Online doesn't work, yet. There's also a day one patch which I can't download

Only seen a sunset once. It indeed looked very beautiful. Very close to that picture : peace: GTA V will occupy most of my gaming time from now on, but I'll try to grab some screenshots of The Tomorrow Children tonight or tomorrow Edit: @RedShell, here you go. However...there is that "Alpha Test" watermark which automatically occurs when you press the Share-button and it appears that the pictures have some kind of filter. The game doesn't really look like that...the screenshots don't do the game justice. And: I waited for the sunset, but the light didn't seem to reach our town You'll see on the picture :p

I'd much rather be for "players can choose only one 4-star team; have to stick with it 'til the end". 4-star teams aren't too overpowered and there are quite a lot to choose from. Don't fancy having to play with different teams every week.

Sounds like it, but I assure you it isn't. It's probably that sense of community that makes it very different from Minecraft. You choose a class (miner, soldier, allrounder, etc) and you focus on your main task. Mining metal which can be used to build turrets, or battling monsters makes you feel like you're part of the town, of the people, of the community. I never got that with Minecraft.
