  1. If I want to see this it would probably best if I watched all the other Avengers movies first? I've seen Iron Man 1-3 and The Avengers. Besides the second Avengers and the Captain America movies, is there anything else I need to see?
  2. Not sure where to ask this so I'll just abuse this thread: Does anybody here have experience with 8Bitdo controllers? I've looked around for reviews about the Zero GamePad and most seem quite good, except for some that state connectivity issues. So I'd love to hear impressions from someone who owns a controller from 8Bitdo.
  3. I want an open world infiltration game without a squad...
  4. Finished The Walking Dead - Season 1 on PS4. While I enjoyed it, I think the Telltale games would benefit from a new engine with improved lipsync and facial animations. Many times I haven't been as emotionally invested because the faces just looked hilarious...and some conversations were horrible. Pacing could've been better, as well. Still, overall I liked it because the story was great. Not sure if I'll start the special Episode or Season 2 anytime soon.
  5. Thanks : peace: I'll definitely avoid the Turtles game because I don't consider memorizing levels a challenge. And I'll probably avoid the games which you said had unfair elements in them (except the Castlevania installments) because...well, they are unfair.
  6. While writing the answer to Dr.Bob's question "What do you look for in a game?" I thought: "Hm, you don't really know lots of difficult games..." That's why I need you: Recommend me some challenging games. Old, new, bad, good. Give 'em to me. I need to have an even bigger backlog. Preferably games from the NES or SNES era, but anything from any other generation is also fine
  7. Source Holy shit, that is impressive. And absolutely deserved. : peace:
  8. Among the usual stuff everbody already mentioned I often look for a real challenge. I love difficult games. Games that push me to become better at their gameplay. The latest has been Nioh. A perfect example of how difficulty can get me hooked. Even though I thought that first boss was too tanky I loved how difficult it was for me in my first few tries. I needed to adjust my playstyle a lot to beat this son of a bitch But this is what I love, games that make me think about every step I have to take, that make me adapt, make me improve. This, too. Simple concepts that are hard to master.
  9. Thanks @Sméagol : peace: I'll go through your posts in the film recommendations thread later Can't believe I wrote "Unusual Suspects"...It's The Usual Suspects, obviously Sorry for the double post but fucking Christ... Edit: Nevermind, automerge!!!! @Sméagol, The One I Love was amazing. Even though it could've been so much more, even though some of the conversations, scenes and the humor were annoying and even though the ending was predictable as fuck it was such a great movie. Probably the weirdest "review" I've given. I enjoyed the movie a lot. It was right up my alley. Given that I love mindfuck movies and your comment about Realité was literally "Great mindfuck", I think that this will be my next movie.
  10. Ewan McGregor is awesome. At least he's awesome in everything I've seen him. Big Fish Stay The Men Who Stare at Goats The Ghost Writer Perfect Sense By the way: Everybody should see Perfect Sense. An incredibly powerful movie. You also get so see McGregor's dick. @Sméagol based on my following "To-Watch-List", which movies would you recommend/add? You watch 8 million movies every year and seem to know a bit about thought provoking movies.
  11. Well, she's hot so...
  12. Oh man, Blue Valentine destroyed me emotionally...not sure if I can handle another destruction by the same director In other news, I've finally watched Deadpool. I haven't laughed this much watching a movie in years A couple of days ago I've convinced my girlfriend to watch Zootopia with me. She's not really a movie fan (urgh) but she enjoyed it. And I loved it
  13. Platinum for Table Top Racing: World Tour get! Solid, almost good game but it lacks charm and variety. I still enjoyed it Easy Platinum and a nice PS+ game. I currently can't be arsed to go after the remaining 50% of collectibles in Uncharted 4 I really want to get this done by the end of the week, though.
  14. I was actually thinking about reading the manga instead of watching the anime, especially since I've made a habit of reading mangas at night while watching TV. Is the anime better?
  15. Holy shit, man. That's impressive and you look good. Can't wait to see more progress from you and @Animal Keep it up. : peace:
  16. During the wait for the next One Piece chapter I've read Gantz in its entirety. It was good. Completely nuts but good Now what to read next? Don't care anymore for Bleach and Naruto is not my thing...Hunter X Hunter has been recommended to me on here sometime ago. Maybe I'll give that a go again.
  17. Got an email with that information last night. As @Fierce_LiNk would say: HHHNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG
  18. Copycat :p Yeah, I've unlocked Desert Wind LV 2 5 minutes into chapter 4 and my tactic so far has been: 3 or more enemies? Desert Wind. Win. Repeat. If low on AP -> recharge. Continue with Desert Wind. I love farming enemies to max out weapons and use them to create new weapons. : peace:
  19. Yeah, I've read something about it on reddit but didn't bother checking up on it. Not sure if this will help in Hardcore (the mode I only play), though, as most of the time one bullet kills so recoil reduction wouldn't be that useful. It would change the way how I my classes are set up...my goto weapon setup for Hardcore is Razorback with stock and fast mags. So I would have to add an optic and take away something else...I do like my two tacticals and the thermite and a perk wildcard, though I'll try some weapons with optics now. Will report. Edit: I see the optics' value in Core matches. Having the recoil reduced this much makes shooting people easier, obviously. In Hardcore, however, they don't seem to be much help. They actually made me play worse because I hate looking through optics and have my view restricted. Most of the time I don't come into a situation where lower recoil might be an advantage because gunfights usually don't last long enough. If I have to hold the trigger longer - e.g. when I try to kill two enemies from a distance - I manage to keep the recoil under control without a grip/optics. This update would've helped me getting headshots, though...having a Vesper with recoil reduced that much would've made things a lot quicker...
  20. Probably not for the time being. Think I'll just finish the game once and save the Platinum for some rainy days
  21. Finished Chapter 2 of Rogue Galaxy just now. The game has given me the ability to combine weapons which means I like it even more Spend a couple of minutes with Table Top Racing: World Tour this morning. Got all stars in the first 4 cups and managed to win a couple of events in the 5th one. It's a game that I'll play occasionally. Revisited Chapter 10 on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to pick up collectibles. 12 more to go. Not sure if I'll try to get this in one or two sessions, because it's a bit tedious...Will probably space it out over the next two weeks.
  22. Oh my, that early equaliser ruined everything...really wanted Liverpool to win because I'm still angry about Sevilla's brutality against Borussia Mönchengladbach a couple of years ago...
  23. I remember using Tinder for 3 weeks. 80% of the women I got matched with didn't respond when I texted them and I didn't think it was rude, it didn't upset me and quite frankly I didn't give a shit.
  24. Well, the first chapter was a nice intro. Took me a while to get used to the battle system. I hope the game won't add much more to the fights. It's not bad, so far. Think I'll enjoy this. Ohh, I love this. In every game. Jumping in RPGs, too. By the way: Remote play is awesome with this I think that many PS2 games didn't use the R2/L2 buttons, so them being mapped to the touchscreen isn't a big problem. Will watch Liverpool vs Sevilla tonight and play this some more Need to get about 50% of the collectibles and several misc trophies in Uncharted 4. I hope I'll find the motivation to do that in the next two days.
  25. This is just incredible...some random rocks have a real 3D model and physics. The attention to detail in this game is breathtaking.
